Fresh cookies are a great start to a summer afternoon, and an unexpected surprise makes things even better. What's a little filly to do, though, when the best foalsitter ever is running late, her BBBFF starts acting funny, and her house is filled with molten rock?

Time marches ever onward, heedless of two ponies it left to sift through the fragments of their shattered lives for a reason to spread their wings and soar. Only darker skies await them, but above the clouds, the sun still shines.

Rainbow Dash needs to be in tip top condition to try out for the Wonderbolts, but she's too busy suffering from easily preventable horse diseases to pull through with her typical style and flair.

With her only options being highly trained medical professionals or Pinkie Pie's dubious homeopathic remedies, Rainbow opts for the only choice that makes sense.

Or at least whatever's quickest.

Rainbow Dash finally gained her consciousness to see she was in a dark room. She tried to rub her head, but saw that her legs were tied down, as well as her head and waist. She suddenly remembered where she had experienced this before.

Well, she herself didn't experience it, but in a story she read, her best friend, Pinkie Pie, kidnapped her and turned her into cupcakes. She noticed how despaired her pink friend was when she found out what Rainbow Dash had read, even though she didn't understand why Pinkie Pie was so badly shaken up. Rainbow Dash knew Pinkie Pie would never harm her in any way, but why is she down here, strapped against her will, if her friend would never harm her?

Had Pinkamena Diane Pie, Pinkie Pie's evil side, finally resurfaced to kill everypony they knew and loved?

I wrote this story back in 2012, so of course my writing wasn't nearly as good as it is now, not meaning to brag.

I'm lost, but I don't know where I'm from.
I miss them, but I don't know who they are.
My name is Rainbow Dash, but I don't know who I am, or what happened to me.

And I don't know if I'll ever be the same again.
