A/N: This story DOES NOT have Alicorn Twilight in it, I started this when she wasn't op as hell, and personally I think for stories like this, it's just too hard to write a story where your characters best bud is a f*cking princess, so yea. College sucks. At least, you think so.

College is basically an adult kindergarten, one where depressed teachers try to uphold some semblance of order in their classes full of drunk, disorderly, or just plain stupid students (and you use the term 'students' extremely loosely) that are only there because their rich parents want their brain-dead children to have some sort of higher education. Either that or sports scholarships. Goddamn sports scholarships.

When your best friend leaves for greener pastures over in Equestria, you start dreading who will take his place as your roommate. Naturally, it happens to be an Equestrian that takes his place—and you're put in charge of making sure she feels at home.

Everest what happens when at the end of his climb there is an explosion that sends him to a new world and in this new world is populated by strange creatures with the ability to use magic, control the weather, and fly. Princess Celestia hosted Equestria's 1000th Royal Gala, welcoming all kinds of species, Griffons, Dragons, all kinds. During this she met many interesting people, ponies, and other species, but lacked a date, a stallion to be with, and was looked down upon by the royals. A princess without a date? This was unusual.

... until she met him. One of few humans in existence, she fell in love with him quickly and asked him to stay in Equestria, rather than returning home beyond the Great Unknown. He didn't need her. He didn't need anyone, for that matter. It was only when she was ready to give her life to him did he realize that he wanted her.

He would come to need her, just as she needed him... and on the night of their year anniversary of being together, he was wrongly taken, his love and memories destroyed and was sent back to the human world without any hardships, so as he would have no want to stay in Equestria, even if he did return, somehow.

But how long can he keep himself apart from his memories of her? And why does her sister act the way she does?

While doing your morning walk routine in a grassy field near Ponyville, Rainbow Dash, the pony you've best known since you arrived Equestria, hits you right in the face, but this unexpected accident is going to make your relationship go a step forward.
