On the Ponyville horizon lay a building known as 'the facility' where rebels and traitors were sent by the Griffon army. Among those rebels was the once-great Princess Celestia, transformed into a mere husk from the daily torture she suffered. Yet some ponies believed that all was not yet lost. Before long, Twilight found herself making plans to infiltrate the facility and free Celestia. But everything changed when she discovered the manner in which the facility dealt with their prisoners...

Now Discord has decided to visit Celestia, having a small chat that only brings up bitter memories and old pains. For there is a secret that Celestia has kept for as long as she's been in Equestria. Something that she has tried to forget, but only managed to keep putting in the back of her mind. Now with the secret once again at the forefronts of her thoughts Celestia has to make a decision. Unexpected Love: As a Wonderbolt, Soarin' could have any mare he wants, but he doesn't want just any mare. He wants a special mare. Twilight has never been interested in romance, and as she tells herself: 'The future of Equestria doesn't depend on me falling in love.' That all changes when she meets a certain Wonderbolt.

Love and Family: It has been months into Soarin' and Twilight's relationship, and everyday Soarin' finds himself loving her more and more, but dating a Wonderbolt has a cost. It means missed dates and late dinners, and now Soarin' can't help but feel that his absence is slowly breaking Twilight's heart. Will he be able to show Twilight his undying love for her and will he be able to convince Twilight's father to trust him?

To be a Parent: Soarin' had been married to Twilight for almost a year now. He is now living in the Library with Twilight and he hasn't been happier. Until one day they find out that there is going be an addition to the family and they were going to be a parents. Leaving Twilight wondering if she is ready to be a mother and if Soarin' is ready to be a father. With the help and their friends and family, a library of books, and the knowledge that they love their foals they start the journey of parenting.

What Makes a Parent: What does it mean to be a Mother? A father? Is it simply raising a foal or something more? Is loving a foal enough to be a good parent? Soarin' and Twilight ask themselves these questions. When Soarin' is confronted by his past; is he ready face it? And can he forgive, or are there offences that are unforgivable?

This is my first fanfiction and also my first time writing stories since I was in 6th grade.

Twilight Sparkle is dying. The pony body was never meant to handle her level of magic and now even the smallest spell causes her body to degrade. The only cure is to stop all magic use and hope that her body slowly heals itself, but things are rarely that simple. Celestia has fallen ill and her only hope lies in Yggdrasil, hidden deep in the Crystal Desert.

As the Yearly Finale approaches, Twilight becomes informed that Princess Celestia is sick and has requested her to help Princess Luna in the rising of the new year's first Sun, which happens to be one of the biggest events in Equestria. Twilight is hesitant to go, because she wants to spend her first Yearly Finale celebration with her friends, but because of her friends' encouragement and support, she ends up deciding to help the princesses.

In order to help, however, Twilight must tap into a very special type of magic she discovers she has...

Twilight Sparkle begins a great journey when Luna appears to her with grim news. She must gather the gang and again set out to save all of Equestria and beyond from a return of darkness. Their travels will take them to places none could have imagined, both in the physical realm and within themselves while exploring the depths of immortality and the origins of the world. Twilight must face her inner demons as well as great emotional turmoil as the journey brings about feelings she never thought could exist. Will her forays into the dark places of the world and her own heart break her..?
