A year after his defeat by the Mane Six, Discord finds himself able to use a bit of chaos energy. However, he isn't able to free himself, so he decides to get revenge on the ponies who trapped him. This is the story of how the girls deal with Discord's revenge scheme, which also means adjusting to something none of them ever expected having to deal with: truly single motherhood.

Through out life we laugh, we cry, we live, we die. When the time comes to give your final goodbye, will you be ready? A great man once said "A dying man needs to die, as a sleepy man needs to sleep, and there comes a time when it is wrong, as well as useless, to resist." As Twilight and her friends journey through the outer lands of Equestria, Fluttershy attempts to uncover what shadows lurk just beyond Hoenn's sight.
