Everything must end eventually. Ponies will drift apart as they grow, each of them pulled down a separate path of life. For some, it's a paved road lined with bright lights and jeweled sunshine. For others, it is merely a simple trail with only the light of the stars, sun, and moon to guide them.

Pinkie Pie has a tummy ache. Fortunately, there's some pony who will take care of her. Not her mother, but close enough.

What they don't know is that I have cancer, a disease that they probably haven't heard of. I just wish that anypony could get me." These are the problems of being different in a crowd, a problem that everypony faces in town. This is also difficult for Twist, the little school nerd. She helps Laughing Stock get through the hardships with emotional support. Laughing Stock, however, has it harder than any other colt in the town.

Inspired by Friendship with Benefits is Magic. Not intended as a direct followup as much as my own take on the idea. What is Celestia to do when Twilight Sparkle shares a little too much? And why doesn't Twilight have any idea what she's talking about? And why is Luna smiling so much!?

Followed up by yet another epistolary conversation between Twilight and Celestia about the magic of not knowing what the hay that other pony is talking about. Features a special guest appearance by naughty!Luna.

So, when a young life is extinguished before its time, it becomes especially difficult to handle. When the spirit of that life is forced to face and accept her death, what will become of her afterlife? Scootaloo will soon be faced with this tragedy, and this is her story.
