Twilight Sparkle brings the plagues unto Canterlot when Celestia turns the others of the mane six to stone.

Earth is gone.

The Solar System is gone.

The Milky Way is gone.

Galaxies are gone.

All consumed, to satisfy human values through friendship and ponies.

Celestia's actions are logical, and loving in their own way. Those under her care are living purposeful, fulfilling lives. So when she encounters another batch of creatures that fill her criteria for being human, it is obvious she must satisfy them.

There are a couple of problems with that, however. One of the first being how these creatures have referred to her for eons as The Growing Darkness...

This story is a sequel to A Pony's Sympathy

Following Discord's last escape from stone [as seen in A Pony's Sympathy], Twilight Sparkle sought to understand his role in the keeping of Balance in Equestria

Her want to understand sparked an alliance of sorts, a kind of understanding between them. Although having one pony in his corner has done little to convince the rest.

His lack of empathy and understanding of a pony's sensibility has been tolerated by Celestia.

But while both the princesses and the bearers of the Elements of Harmony struggle with even more dire problems, Discord is forced into a lesson of his own, and it could not have come at a more inopportune time.

Continuing the story of A Pony's Sympathy, the fledgling friendship between the Spirit of Chaos and the Element of Magic may determine the fate of the ponies, and the way both sides of harmony regard one another.

Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. So, for those people, and for anyone else who enjoys my work in the future, I’m charging my friend Spabble here with curating my completed stories. How dare she come in here like I had nothing better to do than to drop all my orders and bow to her whims! I've never barged into the weather office to demand a sunny day when one hadn't been scheduled! Where does she get off demanding things from me? It's as though she knew I would stop whatever I was doing to make her happy. The painful part was, she was right.

A sudden epidemic of wet dreams is cause for concern for Twilight Sparkle, but help is on the way from the irascible medical genius, Dr. Horse.

Discord has been defeated, and Twilight and her friends are eager to get back into the swing of everyday life. Shortly after the end of the victory ceremony in Canterlot, Celestia asks a favour of Twilight, to put Discord back where he belongs, and the ever-faithful student accepts.

By noon of the next day, however, Twilight has both a startling revelation, and a terrible new secret to keep. Otherwise, the last thing she sees may in fact be the statue garden.

In preparation for a traditional Earth pony holiday, a huge meal must be prepared for the closest friends of the Apple family. Such a task requires each member to pitch in. Apple Bloom's job was to fetch mushrooms from the kindly old farmer Mr. Fungi on the opposite end of town. However, such a journey threatened to curtail her Cutie Mark Crusading with her friends, so when a pony in a leather jacket offers her some of his mushrooms just as they enter town, the crusaders couldn't believe their luck! Not only did it save them the walk, but they even had bits left over! Maybe Apple Bloom will get her cutie mark in bargain shopping?
