You've gotten to know a lot about her, but one night there seems to be something on her mind. You offer her a drink to ease her nerves and you bring your glasses together in cheers.

Next thing you know, you wake up in a strange hotel room in a town you've never been to next to a certain gray mare.

Having made a few too many enemies, you move to Ponyville with only a bag of bits, the tools of your trade, and a couple jackets to cover the scars you've accumulated in the past. You don't trust anypony as far as you can throw them, but can you mesh well enough into the little country town to support yourself?

It'd probably be easier without that colorful maned pegasus bothering you.

You're a fast-flying, teenage pegasus colt with dreams of glory! Having just transferred to a new boarding school in Cloudsdale, you're looking forward to meeting new friends, joining the wingball team, and finally hanging out with fellow pegasi. This year's going to be so awesome!

Except you're the only pegasus around without a cutie mark. And everyone already seems to think you're a total loser, before they've even met you. And your only friend can hardly stand up for herself, much less you. And you're convinced a certain rainbow-maned mare is out to ruin your life. Yep, awesome.

This is the story of your high school days at Wingbury Academy.

Nearly a century after six mares united under Equestria's greatest ideals, one is left to ponder her dreams, her life, and her legacy. In doing so, she may realize that friendship - much like magic - truly never dies.

<DISCLAIMER> The following is a rough outline of where the story was headed originally. I keep making small changes here and things get more and more odd. I will change this once the story is complete and I know for sure what is going on.

Six friends want to find their special someponies, so six of them cast a spell. When a seventh pony accidentally adds herself to the mix, hilarity is sure to ensue. But when Discord breaks loose and threatens to destroy the friendship forever will the ponies able to band together and defeat him, when jealousy runs rampant?

An adventure featuring the mane 6, as well as Spike and Derpy.

This is a very long story, so there is going to be quite some time between updates. ***I have decided that I need to get updates out a little faster, so what was going to be seven chapters is going to be more, as I will be submitting them as half chapters now. I should have a chapter up every two weeks or so. This story keeps getting longer and longer as I work things out with my collaborators, so I have no idea how many chapters there are going to be. They are going to be grouped by part, starting with chapter 2, so we will see how long this takes....

The entire story was inspired by a picture on my little Brony, and some idle discussion between two bronies. After being abandoned by her mother in the Everfree forest, Derpy is taken in by the kind earth pony Mary Doo, who tries to do all in her power to unlock Derpy's inner genius from her seemly broken body and mind. As Derpy learns to communicate she also learns the secrets of the world, makes friends, falls in loves, all on her quest to learn to fly so that she may finally accomplish her life long dream and face her face dark past.
