The Gryphon Kingdom to the north has fallen to the corruption of a tyrannical Queen; forcing her nation into a war against Equestria. As the battle looks in their favor, Lightning spark--Leader of the 1st Pegasus Division--finds himself fighting not only gryphon's, but his own mind as he struggles with the loss of a close friend. Little does he know that the new recruit, Rainbow Dash, may be Equestria's only hope in stopping the war.

Most characters on the list, will come in slowly as the story goes on. Also, the (very sparse) romance doesn't pick up until around chapter 3.

Lighting is just an ordinary Pegasus from Hoofington, except he has a strange family history which he cannot hold up, all Pegasi in his family are forbidden to fly and they are all carpenters! However, Lighting is one Pegasus that cannot be kept on the ground forever. When he defies the rules his family have laid down he crashes into a cyan coloured and rainbow maned Pegasus and little does he know that meeting this Pegasus will change his life and his destiny.

Swift Breeze, a pegasus pony, has lived his whole life in ponyville. One day he decides to take a break and relax a while on his small vacation from work. that is when he meets a mare, Rainbow Dash, at a Wonderbolts performance. Will this just be a new friendship between the two? Or will its spark a relationship between them?

Twilight finds her mind drifting off more and more into thoughts regarding the newly-met amateur astronomer, Comet Tail. She realizes these are thoughts of not only infatuation, but thoughts that tell her she saw him before. But where?
Eventually, she finds out...and she's not happy with who she remembers him as. Can he prove his sincerity? Maybe Twilight's B.B.B.F.F. can clear things up? Or will Twilight let this comet pass without so much as a glance on her part?

A/N: I uploaded this before but unfortunately I'm a complete freaking moron. In an attempt to remove another story of mine I ended up deleting this one, and this one did quite well before. I went back and revised certain parts of the story so it flows better and makes more sense as well as adding completely new parts.

A single squad of American soldiers take on increasingly difficult missions in this story of learning solidarity through solitary.

Success seems impossible, but they're not unprepared. Technology is pacing ahead to aid in their strives to kill each other more efficiently. What will come of it and when will it stop?

Three friends; Dustin, Claire and Vince, discover relics from an ancient civilization while with their university's history class on an archeological dig. Little did they know that this discovery, while small, would become the catalyst of hope, of betrayal, of conflict and chaos, and of rebirth.

Author's note; The story takes place in an alternate earth, where cities, nations and landmasses would be different, but history's more or less the same. More reference will be made to the FIM universe as it goes on. Any constructive advice (grammar errors/missing words/mis-representation of characters) would be great.

A crossover between the Halo/Pony universes. It is centered around Richard B-294, a Spartan III part of a secretive Headhunter team; consisting of two men who often go on suicide missions into enemy territory. Richard is separated from his partner in an accident he can't remember and awakes in a strange ocean. Not knowing where he is he must survive using only his wits, weaponry, and help from candy-colored horses.

Metal 0-1 was thought KIA after the mission "Down the Rabbit Hole", sacrificing themselves to get the Russian president and their friends to safety. After awakening in a strange land, Sandman, Truck, and Grinch must piece together what happened after the mission, how they escaped alive, and how they are ever going to figure out a way back home.

Twilight and Soarin' live their lives together and have a foal on the way, read as the tale of two ponies in love unfolds.

NOTE: You do not have to read the first two really, the only thing you need to know is that they met at a summer festival in Ponyville, and Soarin' crashed while showing off for Twilight, losing his flight abilities.
But reading the first stories is a good idea, though Purple Skies isn't the best story out there.
