Silverstream can't wait to get home to Mt. Aris for the holidays. Sure, she had no problem staying behind last Hearth's Warming, but it did mean she missed the first ever Three Days of Freedom Celebration. With everything she has planned this year, it's sure to be a hoot!

But when she discovers something about one of her friends mere days before departing, she finds something she'd hoped she never would – a friendship problem that can't be solved.

It's been one day since Silverstream's birthday, but Gallus still wants to do something special for her. Something he imagined she's always wanted to do after she and the Hippogriff Kingdom were freed from the Storm King.

Gallus and Silverstream have been dating awhile, so that makes finding just the right gift all that much harder. Because what do you get for that special some creature in your life that truly captures the way you feel?

Gallus wants to ask Silverstream to the Amity Ball their sophomore year without embarrassing the both of them to death. Silverstream wants that, too, but neither of them has any idea how to even talk about what they want without causing the aforementioned death by embarrassment.

Fortunately, the Spirit of the Tree of Harmony wants to help. Though "fortunately" might be the wrong word...

My entry in Miller Minus's Young Six Story Contest, this story got first place! And much thanks to Pascoite for giving it a good going-over beforehand.

Silverstream loves her friends more than anything in the world. She wants for them to be happy all the time. But when she notices a lack of family getting in the way of Gallus's happiness, she makes it her mission to fix that. How will she fix it? Simple. Just let him share hers! All she has to do is convince her family that Gallus would make the perfect addition to it. Oh, and not tell them about her motives in the process, since it's going to be a surprise after all.

Of course, because she's being so secretive about it, the other parties involved can't help but misinterpret her intentions on trying to sell Gallus to her family....

Gallus and Silverstream head off to Griffonstone to spend the holidays together, and though they have a rocky start, it’s sure to be one to remember!

It was just three simple words that Gallus heard her mutter as they lay in bed together. Three words that he had heard many times before, but never did he realize just how beautiful they sounded when it was addressed to him.

(Just a short practice I gave myself that I decided to post)

Gallus always enjoys spending Hearth's Warming with his schoolfriends in Ponyville, and he wants to ensure they have the best time possible. When Sandbar mentions how much he enjoyed making wreaths as a colt, it seems like the perfect activity for the six of them to do together. If only it wasn't so cold outside.

The Grand Galloping Gala. A night of wonder and fun for all its attendees. Well, almost all of them. Gallus is more than happy to just stand in his corner and pretend the world doesn't exist. That way he won't have to confess his feelings and more than likely deal with getting turned down by the girl of his dreams, Silverstream.

However, maybe there is a chance of success if only he could figure out the right way to go about talking to her on the 'mushy romance' level. Asking someone else with more experience for help isn't the worst idea, right?
