One bright summer day, Sunny takes Izzy on a hike to one of her favorite spots around Maretime Bay. It's a great way to spend time with her best friend. Maybe even a way to become more than friends...

Izzy Moonbow has always wanted to make friends with those around her and beyond, being the only happy unicorn filly in Bridlewood. One day, her life changes forever when she receives a mysterious glowing lantern with a letter inside, telling her that she has friends in the Earth Pony town in Maretime Bay and that she should visit!

She so wants to, but the problem is, her father doesn’t want her to, worrying about her safety….

An extended version of that emotional campfire scene where Izzy recounts her childhood and receiving Sunny’s letter through flashbacks….

Sunny has a lot to learn about unicorns- and Izzy in particular. When night falls on the two mare's journey to Zephyr Heights, Izzy teaches Sunny about the best way to stay warm.

The holiday had passed, the rush was over, snow was still falling but nowhere near as bad as before. Everyone else but them was busy, leaving Sunny and Izzy alone in the Brighthouse. It was a quiet morning on a lazy winter day, to sit near the window and watch the flakes fall down while sipping on a mug of hot cocoa. Until Izzy and her traditions decided it wasn't.

Argyle Starshine returns to Maretime Bay, surprising Sunny and her friends who were under the impression that he was dead! Understandably, Sunny is thrilled to be reunited with her father. Izzy Moonbow is happy, too, but can't shake the feeling that something is off about Argyle. And when Sunny begins acting abnormal, Izzy's concerns only grow.

It's been a rough two weeks for Sunny Starscout. She expected her Bridlewood vacation to be simple- relax with Izzy, see the town, and have fun.

Izzy has other ideas. Namely going on an adventure. Cause adventures are fun and Sunny likes those a lot, even if she says otherwise. And if Izzy has a few ideas on what to say to her best friend after the adventure? Even better.

Cause Bridlewood has ruins that Sunny would just love to visit.
