Octavia had it all. Well, almost all; she had some money, some fans, some friends, her dream career, but it all lacked something, or someone to be exact. After one of her many concerts she finds herself waiting in line for, what's that? Another concert! Though she might not be the one playing in this one, this is one of the few places where she can relax.

And that is where it all began, on that one night, she found it. But it has a few secrets.

An argument over another Daring Do book leaves Rainbow Dash frustrated. How can she ever get to Twilight to see what she means to her? What will it take to get the bookish unicorn to see things in a different light?

An opportunity to learn about more of the history of magic has turned for the worse and Twilight is stuck in the middle of it all.
How will Rainbow Dash react when she has been tasked to save her crush from the unknown evil that inhabits these old ruins?

This story is my attempt at the National Pony Writing Month mentioned on EQD.

Celestia finds herself bored and annoyed with the daily grind she has to go through, dealing with the over-privileged unicorns that come to whine about their problems. Though when an especially nasty couple begin their complaints, Rainbow Dash won't be having it. Mischief and loyalty follow.

An influx of weather duties has left Rainbow Dash more overworked and exhausted than ever. With no funds to go on a proper vacation to blow off steam, Rainbow is trapped in a endless cycle of waking up, going to work, and going to sleep.

When Rainbow's responsibilities make even flying no longer fun, Twilight offers to let her stay at the library for an all-expenses paid staycation. Though a little unsure, it doesn’t take much convincing from Twilight for Rainbow to change her mind. Expecting to just find some peace and quiet for a few days, Rainbow finds that and much more.

This story is a sequel to Vanilla Twilight

Rainbow Dash has a problem.

She might be in love with Twilight Sparkle and has yet to admit it to anypony, least of all Twilight herself. After the events of Vanilla Twilight, the two have grown much closer together, spending more time together and sharing their interests. Unfortunately for Dash, Twilight hasn't caught on to her feelings yet, and she could be content with just letting things progress as they are...

If only she hadn't sent that blasted letter admitting it.

Now, thanks to a pair of meddling princesses, Rainbow Dash finds herself on a globe-trotting journey with the subject of her affections. On the surface, it might just seem like a simple task for the Princess, but for Rainbow Dash, it might be the very thing that forces her to come clean with her feelings, or forever face her doubts. For her, in the world of life and love, sometimes it's best to take it one dream and disaster at a time.

After an argument with Rainbow Dash about the romance plot in the latest Daring Do issue, Twilight Sparkle constructs a machine that allows two ponies to enter a novel, in order to learn more about Rainbow's obsession with pairing Daring Do with her bookish sidekick Rosetta.

Soon, the two find themselves in a Daring Do adventure, with Rainbow taking the name part and Twilight playing Rosetta. As they deal with ancient jungle ruins, mythical artifacts and old adversaries, Twilight is starting to see the appeal of the pairing.

But after all, it is all just fiction, and what happens in a novel has little to do with the real world, right?

It's the End. Equestria has fallen. Her lands are black and sick. Her skies are dark and cold. All that lives is dead – or corrupted by a foe long thought gone.

Millions of lives are lost, among them heroes and princesses, with its remaining survivors forced to retreat to their last safe haven. For five years, they have struggled to survive, dealing with sieges, rebellions, starvation, and death. The Pony Race is all but doomed.

But hope may yet live.

Not all of the Elements have perished. Two survive, and these two final bastions of Ponykind will make an effort to ride into the coming darkness to end it once and for all...

...or be swallowed by it like everything else.

Princess Celestia, the governess of the sun since time immemorial, has been slain in cold blood by the darkest of magics. Binding her very life to the sun as she was assassinated not only ended her life, but caused the very sun to perish along side her. With the world now cast in eternal, freezing darkness and their very planet speeding out of it's orbit, Twilight and Rainbow Dash must reignite the fire that sustains all life, or die. As they traverse their dying world, they learn of the suns capacity to give life and of it's history with it's fallen vessel. They will learn of wondrous magic and strange technology that the remaining souls are using to sustain them through the endless winter. This is the tale of light and dark, life and death, loss and rebirth. All in a quest to leave a fire for tomorrow.
