This story is a sequel to Change of Life

Hearth's Warming is a time for family to come together to celebrate, but can Whirring Cogs accept one relative in particular when she comes to visit?

This is a stand-alone short story that is a sequel to the events of Change Of Life and the Chrysalis Resurgent series. Knowledge of the events in those stories is necessary to understand fully what is happening in this one.

For two years now, Pharynx and his loyal swarm have been fighting to preserve the changeling way of life, infiltrating and raiding the pitiful pony knock-off his brother set up in order to show its weakness.

For the past year, Pharynx has been keeping his swarm together, preserving them from the invading Equestrians and their allies while still demonstrating changeling strength.

For the past three weeks, Pharynx and the eight left in his swarm have been licking their wounds in their last hideout, waiting for the alliance to give up the search or find them.

For the past day, Pharynx and the remnants of his swarm have been preparing to die.

Inspired by listening to Sabaton's "Shiroyama."

The Tree of Harmony loomed large before Gilda.

This was her one shot.

Taking a deep breath, she began her case. "Harmony, I have come to bargain."

We all know how the story goes. About how Twilight found and united the Elements of Harmony and defeated Nightmare Moon, preventing the world from going dark and giving Luna a chance for redemption.

However, what if one of the Mane Six hadn't been a normal pony but a monster that was shunned and feared by others? How would the story have gone?

Follow us now as we tell the same story, only this time Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness is not a normal pegasus, but instead is a gorgony. A creature with snakes for a mane and can turn any creature to stone with a glance.

Out of all the mythical creatures I have read about my top favorite are vampires and gorgons. So I was greatly dismayed when I saw how few stories there were that had actual gorgon ponies in them, here on FiMFiction. Thus I decided to write this little fic. I hope you all enjoy.

While I only intended to cover the first two episodes of the show (the pilot episodes), if enough people are interested I may try to create some more stories with Gorgon-shy based around other episodes in the series.

When most ponies think about the Canterlot Wedding, they think of a few main things. The imposter bait and switch, the invasion that followed and how, against all odds, the love between the Bride and Groom was able to push back the invaders that stormed through the city.

Ironically, most of those things just so happened to be included with the event package Princess Cadance picked. And the queen herself? Well, when she says that she planned this, she meant it in more ways than one.
