Apple is a funny word, one that Winona doesn't quite understand.

Her family uses it to refer to food, to trees, to themselves and to each other. It's all very inconsistent.

But whether she understands it or not, she'll always be there for the pony she knows as Little Apple.

Time twists and loops, and it does not always play out again as it did before. In this eddy of time, one rainbow-maned pegasus has been cut out of the loop before she ever existed.

This story is a sequel to Memories Don't Burn

The library is gone. Princess Twilight Sparkle has a new home...one that needs a lot of work.

She also has a lot of questions. Questions about her new role in Equestria, the part her friends will play in it...and whether or not she should assume rulership over Ponyville.

This is a sequel to Memories Don't Burn, but also an interquel, as it expands upon events between that story's first and last scenes.

Silver Melodies is finished. Her life has fallen apart, and now she's left to wonder what she could've done different. Why doesn't anypony like her? Why doesn't anypony just want to be her friend? Not even her family?

So, i know I already made a sad story about Silver Melodies, but I had to make this one. Unfortunately, and I know a lot of you will hate me for it, this story is more of a rant. Everything in this story is 95% accurate to my feelings and what I'm going through as I write these words, save for a few exaggerations. So... yeah, I'm sorry.

But I hope you still like the story.

There is a secret about her building Rarity never shared with anypony: there is a hidden room inside the Carousel Boutique.

She's kept it from everypony for a reason though.

How is it then, that when faced with a decision, she chooses the one that would inevitably bring the most pain? How is it that she couldn’t bear being recognized as the mother of her child? And why? Twilight Sparkle is about to find out.
