Braeburn is tired of being a single hunky stallion. On a visit to see his cousins at Sweet Apple Acres, Braeburn convinces Big Mac to accompany him to an evening of Speed Dating! (Surely the fastest way to catch a mare!)

This is me having a bit of fun and pairing up some unlikely characters. If you don't like Crack Ships like I do, then it's best to turn back now. As this story contains ships I have confirmed are totally original, I have listed some portmanteaus at the bottom to christen them!

It's Hearts and Hooves Day in Ponyville again and Rainbow Dash is alone again this year, but not from a lack of trying. She had set her sights on the non-talkative brother of her best friend? Will she find a way to get the Earth Pony's attention?

Rainbow Dash isn’t a traditional mare. She didn’t care to learn how to bake cookies when she was little, or help her mother cook, and never wanted a doll to play with. She was a tomcolt from the moment she was born, acting more like a colt each day. While other little fillies played with their dolls and talked about secret crushes, she was challenging colts to races and beating them.

So when Big Mac moves in with her, how is she supposed to tell the farm pony who was used to home cooked meals that she didn’t know how to cook?

An impromptu meeting between Applebloom and Spike causes a change in the way that they see and feel about each other, their young love being spurred on by their friends and family.

One night, Twilight and Spike venture into the Everfree forest to retrieve herbs that only appear during the night. Unfortunately, an accident ensues between the two that costs Twilight her life. Spike must now cope with the fact that his best friend is gone from his life, while keeping the secret of what caused her death a secret from everypony he knows, including Applebloom, who he sees as somepony more than a friend.

Spike's dreams of Rarity are shattered, and at the worst possible time, for his friends will need him to make it through their greatest crisis.

Inspired by the United Kingdom entry to the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, "Love Will Set You Free" by Engelbert Humperdinck. From the second chapter onward, different songs serve as the inspiration, so check the comments for the links.

Six years after the events of "Love Will Set You Free", the peace in Ponyville is disturbed as an ancient prophecy seems to be coming true, involving eight new elements - of which only four are known.

"Love Will Set You Free" should be read first, otherwise the story will make little sense in some places. Also, as in that story, this one's chapters are titled after songs from the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, as is the story as a whole.

Applebloom turns seventeen years old. Eager to become a grown pony, her strong desire to help out around the farm takes hold. However, she is quick to realize that she might not be as ready to grow up as she thought when she begins to have odd feelings for a small purple dragon. Will she be able to fully blossom into the mare she wants to become?

Fourteen year old Spike has asked Applebloom on a date. The day? Hearth's Warming Eve of course!

I'm not really proud of this one, I just wanted to thank the Bronies for one year of pony fun, so I did nothing but a simple one-shot of my favorite ship. Whether you guys liked it or not, it's my little gift to you all. Happy early Hearth's Warming Eve!
