Our past experiences shape us. Our joys and sorrows both come reverberating out of the past to influence the present and the future. For Vinyl Scratch, today is the day that she will start to come to terms with the echoes of her own past and how they continue to affect her relationship with her marefriend Octavia Melody.

Octavia and Vinyl Scratch have been friends ever since they were fillies. One is dealing with unrequited love, the other with new and confusing feelings. Can their love for music bring them love for each other?

Today is Vinyl and Octavia's first date. They don't really plan too much, just dinner and a movie. But for both of them, it is the most magical night of their lives.

Living as an independent DJ has given Vinyl Scratch a rough life. Things are not easy, and they're getting tougher. When she meets Octavia Philharmonica, she finds herself entranced as well as filled with resentment. Only time will tell if their connection through music will spawn a beautiful relationship or a formidable rivalry.

Vinyl Scratch is a mare that's been mute ever since she was born, but she never lets it get her down. A few months ago she proposed to her marefriend of 3 years Octavia Melody, and their wedding is coming up in a few days.

Vinyl wants to make sure that the wedding is perfect, but her condition means that she can't speak at the wedding. What will she do to solve this?

It was about ten years ago today, I still remember it like it was yesterday. She was new in town, and hardly anypony knew anything about her. But, there was something about her that attracted me to her. I couldn't put my hoof on it, it certainly wasn't the way she looked, or the way she seemed to have a "no bucks given" look about her. But, I just knew she had to be... the one.
