Following Cranky Doodle and Matilda's wedding, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch find themselves in demand all over Ponyville as a duet. Playing packed shows in all sorts of venues. But will their latest booking, a talk on music and creativity at Ponyville school, be a step too far for one half of the duo?

The Day was long and Bon Bon had just closed up her small sweet shop.
Lyra was relaxing on the small couch in the living room.
as Bon Bon entered the living room she placed herself next to her marefriend.
"hard day?" asked Lyra with a bemused smirk on her face.
"You have no idea" answered Bon Bon. with a deep sigh of delight she started to snuggle against Lyras chest.
"could you tell me a story, Lyly?" she asked with big fillyeyes.

Vinyl Scratch has been trying to get Octavia's attention for a while now. It's hard to get your feelings across sometimes when you're a deaf mute, and the cellist has been either ignoring or misinterpreting Vinyl's signals up until now.

Hearth's Warming Eve is a time to spend with family and friends, making special memories. Octavia enjoys the pomp and tradition of the holiday in Canterlot. But when an unfortunate circumstance has her spending the holiday in Ponyville with Vinyl, she will learn more than she knew about her friend and the true meaning of the season.

Vinyl Scratch. Nowadays, she's usually just called DJ PON-3 by most of Equestria. Vinyl hadn't always wanted to be a DJ though. In fact, a few years ago, she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. It wasn't until she went to the Canterlot Academy for Artistic Ponies that she found her calling and her destiny. Follow the story of Vinyl and some of her classmates from an outsiders perspective as they complete their school days with very interesting yet happy results.

Some may call this stereotypical TaviScratch (the name I prefer for the couple) but I like to think I gave it a more believeable background than most of the others I have read.

Feel free to leave feedback, as long as it isn't intentionally hurtful. Keep in mind that I wrote this without a pre-reader or an editor due to circumstances. I may chose to do a revamped version of this story down the line, but for now, I'm happy with it.
