Not wanting to face Sky Stinger again and feeling that he hated her more than anything, Vapor Trail leaves the Wonderbolts Academy, thinking that Star Stinger would be pleased to see her gone. Without her closest friend, she feels lost and without purpose, separated from the one she loved. But would forgiveness find a way and reunite the two once more? Or would they continue to avoid each other, leaving the wound forever open?

It's Hearth's Warming Eve, and Marble Pie and her family are visiting the Apples in Ponyville. But Marble finds herself in for one terrible surprise. Not that she wasn't expecting it.

After a brief glimpse of happiness, of thinking that perhaps she had found one who understood her pain and loneliness, Marble Pie now feels that she has lost everything.

It will take some wisdom from an unexpected source to set her right.

Jealousy. The infamous heart parasite, that feeds on and sours most flavors of love. The changelings call it "that which spoils food". For years it has nestled within Big Mac, feasting upon every exploit of Applejack's, every newspaper article bearing her name and photograph, every excited babble of Apple Bloom exaggerating Applejack's feats. He kept it under control, hidden from his family, until now.
