Twilight Sparkle, a new ruler in Equestria, has only been a princess for a few weeks. She just returned from an adventure in a new world that she never knew of, but she still doesn't feel ready for life as a leader. On the other hoof, Flash Sentry is just a new member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. As a member of the guard, his job is to protect the three princesses in Canterlot, as well as tour with them wherever they go. This turns into a romantic relationship, and they live happily ever after.

Actually, no they don't. That only happens in fairy tales.

Rated Teen for suggestive scenes and innuendo jokes, but if you know me you know that my stories are always the PG rated version, where the acts aren't described after kissing or touching. This story takes place after Equestria Girls but before Season 4, not including any new developments in the series or comics after the movie.

It's no secret that Zephyr has had an eye on Rainbow Dash for some time, and has taken every opportunity to try and charm her. After yet another failed attempt to do so, he feels like talking to one of his friends about it. Flash Sentry doesn't know when Pinkie Pie became his best friend, but nothing is ever certain whenever she's around. The only thing he can expect is that her company is always a bright spot in a dull world, and that might be enough for him.

Discord and the gang find themselves hiding in a broom closet in yet another dangerous mission. Discord finds himself crowded against the back wall with a terrified Fluttershy right next to him. He'd like to let her know that he'll keep her safe.

He'll have to be quiet about it, though.

Just a little blurb I whipped up last night in a random instance of inspiration, with the typical dangerous MLP-esque advienture that I don't want to make into an entire story. I'm pretty sure it's even longer than planned just so I could throw some dumb jokes in there. But if it makes you smile, then I've accomplished my mission.

Fluttershy has long since had a secret crush on the lord of chaos himself. Worried that she would ruin their friendship, Fluttershy has chosen not to act on it. Choosing to watch from afar and simply enjoy their relationship as is, she now fears that she risks losing him to another pony. One that is better suited to him in every sense of the word.

What to do, what to do....

Having a very specific problem, and afraid certain ponies will blab, Discord travels illegally through the Mirror to seek the help of the Rainbooms. While they do -reluctantly- help him, perhaps there is another reason the Lord of Chaos has disturbed their weekly breakfast get-together.
