My recent lack of updates, and my future updates

My great-grandmother had a stroke several months ago, and she's better, except she's a lot weaker than she was before. Her husband, my great-grandfather was taking care of her, but he just suddenly died two weeks ago. Nobody realized this for nearly three days, after the mailman noticed their mailbox was not emptied. She was really dehydrated and in bad shape, but she's okay now. It's just... I and my dad's side of the family had just gone to see him a week before, and he was perfectly fine: lively as always, and he was playing with my baby sister, and... he isn't even that old, he had maybe 10 years left (the family tree's branches all started sprouting young). We had the funeral and stuff last week, and since he'd served in the military, they played Taps on bugle, fired rifles, and presented the American Flag to my great-grandmother. My grandmother was really close to her dad, and she was really upset... I lost pretty much all creative drive, because I am REALLY close to my grandmother, and I can't bear to see her like that. I mean, this woman fed me and rocked me to sleep before I could even talk: every other weekend, I slept in her house because that's where my dad lived (he got custody every other weekend). It was really hard on me to see her so emotionally affected, and I'm sorry to you all who are no doubt sick and tired of waiting around for me to update, but I haven't really gotten much work done these past two weeks. Consider this slump the gallon of ice cream after a breakup.

ToS is still online, and the next chapter is outlined.
Only on the Surface is still online: I trashed my last outline because it was NOT turning out how I wanted it.
Disruption is still online, and... well, the next chapter's probably going to come out easier... I get my feels out through writing, in case it hasn't been clear so far.
Exit Light Enter Night is partially online: I'll do it eventually, but I'd like to READ Dante's Inferno and do some research on the River Styx, Hades, Tartarus, et cetera. And, I've made a bit of change to the plot. Spoiler alert, I make you HATE Sombra.
Broken in the Storm, I have the overall outline finished: it'll be a three-part story, rather than a standalone story.
Give Back my Baby, I'm going to put a higher priority on updating, because I actually watched some Doctor Who (several Matt Smith episodes), so I'll be able to more accurately explain his disappearance.
Cupcakes versus Muffins, I've made an interesting discovery: I found a draft of chapter 2 that I'd forgotten about! It's about 70-80% done, so expect that relatively soon.
A New Type of Harmony, I created backstory for all the characters, and I'll be telling a lot of the story with a lot of flashbacks. Dio Days, punk-rock Pinkamena, Fluttershy coming out of her shell, and expect to see Scratch records, Spitfire records (click the link), Chrysalis records (click this link, too), and... well... I developed quite an interesting subplot. You see... it will take place in the same universe as a future story of mine, where: get this, this is really good... is in an alternate reality where Celestia offers Luna a chance to redeem herself by leading an Equestrian battalion against a changeling invasion of the Griffin Republic of Sovereign States (Europe, basically: name is subject to change). The working title of this story is "Origins of the NLR". And the events in ANToH WILL have an impact.
