So I'm grounded from my laptop because my sisters are slobs, and Mom is disappointed in all of us because of it. We have to 'prove' to her that we can maintain a cleanliness routine. Which for some reason means no Wi-Fi until then.
I'm typing this on my iPhone. My phone's supposed to be handed in and away from me when I'm not at school, so I smuggled my iPod Touch inside my iPhone's Otterbox and am hoping she won't notice. I will hardly get any work done in the next two weeks. Also, I'm going to fail this quarter in English because I refuse to write a biased research paper, and I may fail all my other classes because I missed too many days this semester, or skipped days to go to a funeral.
Some news, though. I will NOT add Equestria Girls to the canon of my stories. I will NOT adapt Twilicorn unless it's explicitly noted otherwise. And under no circumstances will I argue with anyone who demands that I conform. This is because my headcanon selectively discounts whatever canon I want.
The Friendship Is Magic that we all know is actually filmed on location inside Equestria, and everything in the episodes may or may not be inspired by true events. Meaning the REAL exploits of the Mane Six could have happened as they do, but they also may not have been. This explains away plot discrepancies like Granny Smith's age, character 'relationships' among background ponies, Derpy's true nature, all the lies from the episode where everyone got their cutie marks, and Twilicorn. I can even make Gilda and Trixie be regular Ponyville citizens with no conflicts whatsoever. Expect a "Behind the Scenes" type of story consisting of interviews with the characters... After I finish Only On The Surface, of course. Which, by the way, was coming along nicely, like everything else. It's just a waiting game now... Sorry for the long wait, but there's plenty of fanfic out there that's better than mine, anyways.
By the way, Rock on the Range was awesome. All That Remains. Halestorm. Bullet for my Valentine, Black Veil Brides (say what you want, they're great live), Papa Roach, Clutch (yes, MOTHAFUKKIN' CLUTCH!!!), Three Days Grace, Stone Sour, Smashing Pumpkins... Nice lineup all around. New Type of Harmony's definitely got some more inspiration for that inevitable first chapter reboot.
