The Ninjas travel to Skylands to rebuild the core of light
After their vacation at Beach City, Sunset and her friends travei to Skylands, but get seperated. Now Sunset has to find her friends & rebuild the Core Of Light. But Kaos has become aware of this and sent his Elemental Elites to find the Eternal Sources. Now it's a race to see who can find the Eternal Sources, with all of Skylands hanging on the line.
A few weeks after their trip to Beach City, the Ninjas all gathered in the lair, because Sunset and Fugitoid called a meeting there.
"Ok Sunset we're all here, so what's up?" Leo asked.
"Well, I wanted to wait until I learned how to activate this." Sunset said before bringing out the strange item found in Beach City.
Sunset then explained herself. "So any way, after we returned Beach City, Fugitoid and I received a visit from my father, Master Eon." Everyone gasped.
"You mean the man who use to hang out with Steven's mom Pink Diamond before he asked her to take you to Equestria when you were just a baby?" Pinkie asked in shock.
"Yep and he told me that I must work on activating this and the Skylanders that came with it." Sunset said. "And ever since then Fugitoid and I have been working for weeks trying to activate both this, Eon calls it a portal. He said that we need to get to Skylands as soon as possible."
"And we have been able to figure it out." Fugitoid said before explaining everything. "You see, all we need to do is to place one of the skylanders on it, that should activate the portal, allowing us to walk through no problem."
"Then let's get started." Rainbow Dash. Everyone grabs a Skylander and place it on the portal, unfortunately the portal sucks both the Skylanders and the Ninjas inside leaving only the portal in the lair.
In the Skylands, chunks of rock are flying everywhere, while a hot air balloon is trying to land on an island where other hot air balloons are leaving. in the hot air balloon that's arrived, there were two furry people, one has the attire of a pilot with a scarf and a pilot hat with goggles, and the other is an assistant who wears a green jacket and a backpack with books and scrolls on it.
"Wowsers." The pilot said as he saw the balloons leave "Look at all these balloons leaving. Parking is gonna be a snap."
"They're not just leaving, they're evacuating!" The assistant said in fear. "Something is terribly wrong!"
"Ah!" The pilot said as he saw what he meant. "That explains the flying rocks!" They soon land and the assistant gets off in the middle of a bridge leaving the pilot on the balloon. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" The pilot asked the assistant.
"Just go on Flynn!" the assistant ordered. "Get to higher ground! I'll meet you on the other side of town."
"Righty-O." Flynn said before taking off "Good luck Hugo." Hugo then when toward a windmill and stood as if he was waiting for something.
"Master Eon said help would be coming." Hugo said to himself. "He said to wait right hear." he then starts talking about everything that happened before he came here. "First the Core explodes, then I start to hear voices - and NOW, I'm in the middle of a village being ripped apart by who-knows-what" Hugo summed it up in just 6 words "Clearly - I am losing my mind."
At that moment he heard screaming and saw beam of colors head towards him just before landing right in front of him. What replaced the light were the 8 figures all full sized and ready for action.
"WHOA!" Hugo said in amazement. "Spyro! Gill Grunt! Trigger Happy! Everyone! You've returned."
"Aww, come on Hugo." Spyro said with a grin. "You know we can't stay away from Skylands forever."
"Master Eon was right!" Hugo said in awe. "That means you did find another portal master to help us. I of course never doubted it for a second, heh."
"Oh, he did more then find a portal master we found his daughter, or rather she found us." Spyro said before turning to a young girl with red and yellow hair, and strange clothes Hugo had never seen before, lying unconscious on the ground. Next to her is a robot the likes of which Hugo never saw before now.
"Wait, that's Sunset Shimmer?" Hugo asked in shock "Master Eon's long lost daughter."
"Well the long lost part was a bit exaggerated." Spyro said in reassurance. "She was just taken somewhere she can be safe."
"And who is the robot?" Hugo asked
"That's Fugitoid, one of her friends." Stealth Elf said. Suddenly, Sunset and Fugitoid started to stir as she regained consciousness.
"Look they’re waking up." Eruptor said before asking a silly question. "Should I get her some water."
"Eruptor, if you got her water, she'd end up drinking steam." Stealth Elf said.
"Hey, it's not my fault I'm too hot too handle!" Eruptor remarked before Sunset woke up and suddenly remembered what happened.
"Ahh! Everyone!!!" Sunset shouted, waking Fugitoid up right away, before looking around to see that her friends are nowhere in sight. "Leo? Twilight? Anyone? We must have gotten separated when we entered the portal." Sunset and Fugitoid then turned around to see 9 creatures standing in front of her. She soon recognized 8 of them as the figures from her chest. "Wow you guys really grew up." She remarked.
"Either that or you shrunk girl." Terrafin said. before Spyro began with the introductions.
"Anyway, we haven't been formally introduced." Spyro said, before introducing everyone. "I'm Spyro. and this is Gill Grunt,"
"Hey there." Gill Grunt said in charm.
"Trigger Happy,"
"Hihihihihihi!" Trigger Happy said in excitement.
"Eruptor,"
"Hi there." Eruptor said with a grin.
"Stealth Elf,"
"Heya." Stealth Elf said in friendliness.
"Terrafin,"
"Yo." Terrafin said in coolness.
"Lightning Rod,"
"Greetings." Lightning Rod said in a booming voice.
"and Chop Chop."
"It it an honor and a privilege" Chop Chop said in honor.
"Indeed it is, oh great Portal Master Sunset!" Hugo said formally. "I am Hugo, and we have much to do! This village needs our help!"
"Do you think our friends are in the village?" Sunset asked.
"Maybe, we could check it out." Spyro said. Sunset knew that these guys could help her find her friends. They soon traveled to the village, but stopped as a large fence. "I got this." Spyro said before charging the fence breaking it. They soon found a furry person wearing a green shirt, a light blue scarf, and a pot on his head. He was ringing a warning bell.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked Spyro.
"These are the Mabu, a local people who live in the Skylands." Spyro explained.
"Hey there." The Mabu said to our heroes. "I'm Snuckles. We thought the Skylanders were all gone, but it's great to see you guys are here!" He soon pointed at the village. "That main road was destroyed and now the townsfolk are all trapped inside. It's very dangerous." He turned to the wall and had an idea. "Taking down that wall seems like it might help!" He then looks at a cannon pointing straight at it. "Maybe that old cannon will work?" He asked
"Hmm, It just might." Sunset said before going to it. She then lit the fuse and stood back ready for the cannon to fire, which it did, completely destroying the wall and freeing the townsfolk. "You people need to get to safety." Sunset said as the townsfolk nodded and rushed off. they soon entered the town and stopped at a locked gate with more Mabu on the other side, led by one with a multi colored cap with a propeller at the top.
"Hey you guys are Skylanders and a Portal Master aren't ya?" He asked our heroes. "My name's Rizzo & I didn't know you guys were here! We could really use your help."
"What do we do?" Sunset asked the Mabu, who pointed at a key floating in the air.
"Just grab that key, it should get us outta here." He said to Sunset, who grabbed the key and used it to unlock the lock. The Mabu soon rushed off to safety. Our heroes soon found another key and used it to unlock another gate, where they found another Mabu, who wore a viking helmet on his head.
"Oh, am I so glad the Skylanders are here!" He said in joy. "My name is Nort! Hope there are more of you, because we have a doodle of a problem here."
"What's the problem?" Sunset asked Nort, who pointed at another a large turtle in the middle of a bridge.
"See?" He asked our heroes. "The bridge is our and people are trapped on the other side of Turtle Gully. Gosh, I hope they're okay." He then pointed to a Mabu trying to move the turtle out of the way. "Blobbers over there can't move that turtle - could you please help him?"
"We'll see what we can do Nort." Spyro said before he and the others went to talk to Blobbers. "Hey buddy, need help?" He asked Blobbers, who turned around to who was speaking to him.
"By Pythagoras' Theorem!!!" He said in surprise. "You're all Skylanders aren't you? Goon thing you're all here! See, I've got a big brain, but pretty puny muscles. I could use a bunch of powerful heroes such as yourselves to help me move this turtle."
"No Problem, come on guys." Terrafin said to everyone, "Let's do it!!" Everyone soon move the turtle out of the way, allowing the Mabu to get to safety. Our heroes went further down the trail, moving more turtles out of the way, until they came to a series of cliffs where Sunset and Fugitoid heard a voice call out to them.
"Hey, down there!" It said, causing Sunset and the others to look up to see a hot air balloon next to a mountain, and on the mountain is what they assume to be the pilot. Fugitoid just had to respond.
"Hello, up there!" He said before asking his question. "Who are you?"
"Name's Flynn." He said. "Hugo told me to meet you guys. Boy, you all got here just in time. I can see what's causing this island to shatter. Come here and I'll show you!" He then pointed at some strange pads on the ground. "Use those bounce pads, they're super springy!"
"Ok, here goes." Sunset said before she and the others go on the bounce pads, causing them to go really high, landing right next to Flynn and his balloon. Sunset and Fugitoid were surprised of what happened "That was unexpected."
"Yep, they usually aren't." Flynn said before pointing everyone to a large twister. "Anyway, you see that twister? It's a big one alright! But I got an idea. What we're gonna do is..." But before he could finish, he soon saw a large boulder hurtling straight towards them. "WHOA!!!" He shouted before getting back on his balloon and the others jumped off, just before the rock hit. They all landed on a glen and saw Flynn's balloon passing by. "That was close!" He said to our heroes. "It's okay! You go on ahead, and I'll take her around and meet you back here later!" Our heroes soon walked a bit, but stopped in front of a gate with Blobbers on the other side.
"You Again!" Blobbers said as he recognized our heroes. "Thank goodness! I'd gladly escape this raging tornado - EXCEPT these monster gates are in my way. Monsters always stake out their territory by putting up these gates. And these are particularly nasty little monsters too - hungry little Chompies."
"Chompies?" Sunset asked Spyro.
"Mean little green guys with teeth that pierce anything." Spyro explained, unknowingly making Sunset and Fugitoid a bit scared.
"I'll be on the safe side, thank you - It sure beats being on the Chompy side!" Blobbers said before giving the bad news "Um... which is where you are." This makes Sunset and Fugitoid even more worried, but Blobbers reassured them. "But don't worry - these gates will open when all of the monsters have been defeated." He began to explain "So all YOU have to do is just get rid of all of the Chompies in there and everything should be just fine! Heh, good luck!
"And here they come!" Lightning Rod exclaimed as he saw some coming their way. Our heroes soon found themselves surrounded by Chompies. But given their small size, the Chompies were soon dealt with by the Skylanders with ease and style. Even Sunset and Fugitoid got a few good hits.
"That was surprisingly easy." Sunset said with a smile.
"Don't get cocky kid." Spyro said to Sunset. "There are much tougher foes out there, but for now let’s head to the palace to see if everyone there is OK." They soon headed to a couple of ramps where they met Blobbers yet again.
"Ahhh, the tornado - Wait!" Blobbers said in terror when he saw what happened. "Hobson's knee goiter! The royal Mabu palace is completely gone! And - oh no! LOOK! The royal family is trapped! You must save them!."
"Don't worry, we'll get right on it." Spyro said before turning to his team. "Okay everyone, lets so everyone we still got it." Everyone else nodded and went to work. They soon pushed a large turtle to a position where they could walk on his shell, lit the fuse of a cannon to blast a wall revealing a key, and used a bounce pad to get to the other side and grab the key. After that, it was a simple matter of unlocking the gate and rushing the royal family to safety. They soon met up with Hugo and Flynn near Flynn's balloon, all ready to depart.
"You did it!" Hugo said in excitement. "Thanks to all of you, all of the villagers managed to evacuate just in time." But then he soon got serious. "But this is only the beginning. There are reports of terrible disasters all throughout Skylands." This shocked Sunset
"All throughout Skylands?" Sunset asked herself in shock.
"Yeah will there's gonna be another one if we don't get moving." Flynn said pointing at the storm. "That tornado is right on top of us!"
"Oh...right!" Hugo said in agreement. "We should get to safety. I'll explain everything on the way!" Everyone soon entered Flynn's balloon and they took of just as the tornado was entering the town tearing it up. Sunset was relieved that her friends weren't in that storm, but couldn't believe the destruction from the tornado. She finally arrived at the realm of her birth after all these years, and now it was being destroyed.
"Hugo, how did all of this happen?" Sunset asked Hugo, who just remembered that she was in another dimension, so he began to explain
"Well, it all started some time after you were sent to Equestria." Hugo began as scene shifted to a beautiful island with many buildings and a dock for ships. "You see, for as long as anyone could remember, Skylands was protected by the wisest and most powerful beings of all, the Portal Masters, and the greatest among them was your father, Master Eon." as he spoke, we see Master Eon himself watch over the island he called home, only to turn around and see Spyro and Trigger Happy approach him with smiles. "He and his Skylanders protected the Core of Light. For centuries, the Core of Light had enriched the world, while holding at bay, The Darkness, the ultimate force behind all evil." Like Master Eon, both Spyro and Trigger Happy sensed the darkness coming. Spyro readied himself for a fight, while Trigger Happy got his guns out. "But now, Eon was the last Portal Master and growing weaker with age. He knew it was only a matter of time before the darkness would return." And with that they all saw large, dark, evil-looking clouds approach them at incredible speed Hugo soon rushed out to check on his master. "M-Master Eon!" He said to Eon in a panic. "Th-th-those clouds! I-I-Is something wrong?"
"Have you ever known dark, boiling, ominous clouds to be a good thing Hugo?" Master Eon asked Hugo, who knew his master was right. They soon saw a large castle emerge from the clouds and knew who was driving it. Eon turned to his assistant. "Take your station Hugo!" Hugo wanted to help, but he knew that this was something the Skylanders must do so went and jumped into a manhole. Eon then called his Skylanders "Skylanders, the Darkness has come, prepare for battle!" At that moment, everyone soon rushed to Eon's side. They soon saw a giant floating head approach them, followed but a storm cloud holding 8 rather evil looking characters shrouded in shadows. The giant floating head pronounce himself in a booming voice.
"BEHOLD, IT IS I, KAOS!!!!" The giant floating head said rather loudly. "LONG HAVE MY ELEMENTAL ELITES AND I WAITED FOR THIS DAY TO TAKE MY REVENGE!!! SOON YOU WILL ALL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME, KAOS K-A-O-S!!!"
"Kaos, I might have known!" Eon said before he asked his question "And - what happened to your head? It looks ridiculous."
"EHHHH??? WHAAAAAT???" The rather ridiculous-looking giant floating head asked only for it be nothing more than a hologram, controlled by a small boy with light blue markings on his forehead, black tattoos around his eyes, and a voice that sounded like that of a little green alien who had a not so smart, but still nice to have around, robot. "Ey? My head is awesome, I tell you!!" Kaos said through his own portal, which he uses as a means of communication. Fear it!!! Fear MY GIANT FLOATING HEAD!!!!" that was when he was interrupted by his butler, Glumshanks, a tall green fellow who wore overalls and acts as the voice of reason
"See, I told you the head wasn't scary enough." He said, making his boss mad.
"SILENCE GLUMSHANKS!!!!" Kaos said before toning down his voice "Your spoiling my evil mood." He then spoke again through his communication device into his giant floating head. "YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD BANISHED ME TO THE OUTLANDS? HAHAHAHAHAHA! I, KAOS, AND MY ELEMENTAL ELITES HAVE RETURNED TO DESTROY THE CORE OF LIGHT, AND RULE SKYLANDS AS IT EMPEROR, AND YOU ARE SO OLD AND WEAK NOW EON!!! THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Eon was not frightened in the least at this.
"I've told you before Kaos, you and the Darkness have now power here." He said, which made Kaos suspiciously smile.
"OH IS THAT SO?" He asked with a gruesome grin. "WILL JUST SEE ABOUT THAT! ELEMENTAL ELITES?!?!?"
"It's thunder time." One of the shrouded figures said as he and the others jumped off the cloud and landed on the ground ready for a fight. Now Kaos had just 1 more call to make.
"MINIONS?!?!?!" He said, which resulted in several beams of light bringing down several evil red minions, with blank white eyes. Eon knew what to do next, and turned to his Skylanders.
"Skylanders! To-" but before he could finish, Spyro hopped onto the portal and disappeared only to reappear on the battlefield, followed by the other Skylanders. Spyro charged at the minions, ramming them with his horns. Gill Grunt blasted at many of the minions with his water cannon, then used his jetpack to dodge a large one and blast him to. Another minion ran away from him only to run right to Terrafin, who straight up punched his lights out, before diving into the ground and head towards a large group of them, then jumped up and body slammed them. Hugo peeked out of his hiding place to see who things are going, but quickly ducked back in. Trigger Happy and some other Skylanders stated shooting at the minions, leaving only two large minions, forcing Trigger Happy to charge up his guns and fire a large coin at one of them, taking him out. Another skylander spat out a giant acorn, which rolled straight towards the other large minion, who was taken down no problem. During all of this, Glumshanks was keeping score.
"OK, I've worked it out and.... were losing." He said, not too surprised at the outcome. "Maybe we should go to plan B." But Kaos, who was really mad, knew what to do now.
"No Glumshanks!" He said to his butler "I have a much better idea! Initiate, PLAN Z!!" At that moment, everyone saw something, SOMETHING BIG, that got even Master Eon scared.
"Not the Core." Eon pleaded as this 4 headed, large, evil looking something prepared a blast right at the Core of Light. "NO!!" but, alas, it was too late, for the next thing everyone knew, there was a large explosion, and the sky suddenly got dark. Kaos's castle was sent flying to who knows where, and the Skylanders were beamed frozen into statues with most of them being scattered throughout Skylands. Shortly after that, Hugo emerged from his hiding place to see the place in ruins, and all alone. "M-Master Eon? Anyone?" the Hugo of the past said before the Hugo of the present continued. "That was the day the Core of Light was scattered to the far corners of the universe, along with Skylands's greatest protectors, but there is more to this story, you see before the Core of Light was destroyed, Master Eon told me of a contingency, for when the Skylander were ever frozen. We assembled a large chest to put Spyro and the 7 Skylanders that weren't scattered, a portal, and a very large letter, and sent them off. Master Eon made the chest big for a reason, for as the chest was drawn farther and farther away from the magic of Skylands, the chest, along with the contents inside, began to shrink, until it reached your world, waiting for you to find them. And Master Eon, he survived the blast, but was changed, he became a spirit. Though with out his body, he couldn't fight Kaos and the Darkness, but now we have you and your friends, Master Sunset."
"Wow, I'd say I don't believe it, but after seeing this, now i really believe it." Sunset said, pointing at the ruins from the story. Flynn landed his balloon at a portion of the ruins
"Thank the portals we made it back in one piece!" Hugo said getting off the balloon before stopping at where the Core of Light once stood. "So as you both can see, with our Core of Light destroyed. Skylands is in great danger. I'm sure that tornado was no accident. This is clearly the work of Tony Thunder, one of Kaos's Elemental Elites." Flynn soon got of the balloon, followed by Sunset, Fugitoid, and the Skylanders.
"Kaos." Flynn said angrily, although he keeps his cool quite well. "Ooh that guy and his Elemental creeps really grind my gears. If you're taking down Kaos, you can count me in!"
"Glad to hear it Flynn." Hugo said happily. "Cali agreed to help too."
"Cali?" Flynn asked before remembering who he was talking about. "Ahh, Cali. I've heard some things about that gal, interesting things. If she's involved in this, then count me DOUBLE IN!"
"Splendid!" Hugo said before turning to our heroes. "Master Sunset, when you and the others are ready, go with Flynn to Perilous Pastures."
"Okay Hugo." Sunset said, before turning around and talking to herself. "I hope my friends are there."
"I'll prep the balloon for takeoff!" Flynn said heading to his balloon.
"And if you bring back any more of those... those... sheep, I'll never forgive you!" Hugo shouted to Flynn.
"Sheep?" Sunset asked Spyro.
"Long story." Sunset said to Sunset. Our heroes soon met Flynn by his balloon.
"Yeah, I'm sure Cali will be thrilled to meet me!" Flynn said in a sort of lovable arrogance. "And who can blame her. Ah!"
"I have no idea." Sunset said to Fugitoid.
"So... you folks ready to shove off?" Flynn asked our heroes.
"Yeah we're ready, let’s go find Cali." Sunset said in eagerness, she then started talking to herself again. "I just hope my friends are there."
"Yep. I'll have this Cali eating out of the palm of my hand in no time." Flynn said, breaking Sunset's concentration. "And who can blame her? I mean look at me! BOOM!" Everyone soon got on the balloon and it was off, but not before it hit a rock on the way up. "You guys see how I was able to hit that?" Flynn asked our heroes. "That takes years of practice and skill."
"Does it really?" Sunset asked sarcastically.
"I know - amazing right?" Flynn said to Sunset. "You can thank me later." Sunset soon got out a picture of her friends, no her family, with their deceased teacher and father figure, Master Splinter, hoping that they were OK.
Soon our heroes arrive at Perilous Pastures and land on a peaceful bit of land. Everyone else got off the balloon, while Flynn stayed on to fly it.
"So hey I think we should find this Cali as soon as possible." He said, stating the obvious "It's just not fair to deny the girl the pleasure of meeting me. I'll scout out from overhead - meanwhile, you guys see if you can find her on the ground!" He then took off, leaving our heroes to find Cali.
"Has he always been like this?" Sunset asked Spyro.
"Yep, he even has a series of scrolls in honor of him called 'Meditations on 'Boom''".
"Welp, we better go find Cali." Fugitoid said as our heroes when down the road. Along the way the fought many foes and solved many puzzles together. During all this time, Sunset and Fugitoid became curious as to how their 8 new friends came to be who they are.
"So Spyro, when did you and the others become Skylanders?" Sunset asked Spyro. Everyone nodded and let him go first.
"Well Sunset, I hails from a rare line of magical purple dragons that come from a faraway land few have ever traveled." Spyro began to explain. As he did the scene changes to a flashback of him fighting evil foes, saving other realms, and meet new friends. "It's been said that the Scrolls of the Ancients mention me prominently -- the old Portal Masters having chronicled my many exciting adventures and heroic deeds." The scene then changes to Master Eon meeting Spyro, and asking him to become part of a team called the Skylanders, facing new foes and meeting many more new friends. "Finally, it was Master Eon himself who reached out and invited me to join the Skylanders as its leader. Now calling Skylands my home, I remain one of its most valued protectors, with evil facing a new enemy -- and the Skylanders gaining a valued ally."
"Wow!" Sunset said in awe as the scene changed back to Perilous Pastures. "That's some story."
"Ha that's nothing to my Skylanders origin story." Gill Grunt said has he to tell his story, causing another flashback of Gill Grunt as a soldier. "I was a brave soul who joined the Gillmen military in search of adventure." The scene changed to him meeting a beautiful mermaid in a lagoon. "While journeying through a misty lagoon in the clouds, I met an enchanting mermaid, and vowed to return to her after my tour." The scene changed again, this time showing Gill Grunt return to the lagoon, only to find it in ruins, and his girlfriend nowhere to be found. "Keeping my promise, I came back to the lagoon years later, only to learn a nasty band of pirates had kidnapped the mermaid." The scene then changed to him searching everywhere for the pirates who took her mermaid, and joining the Skylanders, hoping to find her. "Heartbroken, I began searching all over Skylands. Though I had yet to find her, I joined the Skylanders to help protect others from such evil, while still keeping an ever-watchful eye for the beautiful mermaid of my dreams, and the filthy pirates who took her away from me.
"Now that's what I call true love." Fugitoid said as Gill Grunt ended his story.
"If you like that, you'll love my story." Trigger Happy said as another flashback showed an old western town. "I was born in a tough frontier town on the furthest reaches of Skylands." The scene changed to the people living poor lives, and bandits causing panic. "The town was dirt poor and had recently been beset by a band of bully bandits. One day, having grown bored of terrorizing the townsfolk with their bad breath and sheep-shearing jokes, the bandits were holding up the local bank. Outside, their dragon steeds were fired up for a quick getaway." The scene changed again to Trigger Happy, in a western getup, walking out to face the bandits. "Suddenly, I strolled out into the high street. And after taking one look at the bandits, I started shooting." The scene quickly changed to Trigger Happy shooting at the bandits lake a maniac "Gold coins sprayed everywhere, embedding themselves into the buildings and the behinds of the bandits, who promptly hightailed it out of there." The scene soon changed to Trigger Happy being praised as a hero, and Master Eon giving him a place in the Skylanders. "The town was made instantly rich and me a legend. my gold-slinging antics soon reached the ears of Master Eon, who immediately made me a Skylander. I remained true to his name, by shooting first and asking questions later. Actually, I never bothered to ask questions."
"And I thought Pinkie Pie and Mikey were fun loving." Sunset said to Fugitoid following Trigger Happy's story
"You should hear my story." Stealth Elf said, causing yet another flashback, this time taking place in a woodland. "I can't remember much about my family or from whence I came." The scene changed to Stealth Elf waking up from a bad dream. "My earliest memory is of me waking with a start and screech, following a nightmarish dream of stampeding sheep. But when I awoke there were no woolly warriors in sight - only woodland and a complete memory blank." The scene changed to her walking around like a child lost in the mall. "With a sniffle and a sigh, I picked myself up and set off in search of answers." The scene change to her watching a strange creature fight. "After several days, she stumbled on a gnarled, stumpy-looking creature with the lightning moves of a ninja master. It turned out the creature was the guardian of the forest and trained in the ancient art of stealth." The scene changed again to show the guardian training Stealth Elf in his fighting style. "Sensing the my skill for sneaking, the guardian immediately made me his apprentice. Sure enough, I was a natural and soon, ran rings around my increasingly ragged sensei." The scene changed again to Master Eon checking out my skills. "Master Eon was invited for a look, and was knocked out by my nifty ninja skills. I was made a Skylander on the spot and served not only guardian of the forests, but protector of the world."
"Whoa! these are pretty cool origin stories." Sunset said in amazement. Just then, they saw Flynn's balloon come to them. They knew he must have found something.
"HEY! Flynn said from his balloon. "I found Cali, and uh, she's not half bad. Oh yeah - and she and two other girls have been captured by a bunch of evil Drow!" That got Sunset's attention.
"Wait, TWO other girls?" Sunset asked wondering if it's some of her friends.
"Yeah, one of them has yellow skin and pink hair, and the other is dressed in black with armor." Flynn explained. "We gotta save them - so they can get on with more important things... like thanking me. BOOM!"
"Fluttershy and Karai are here?" Sunset asked overjoyed to hear that they are OK, but knew they had to help them. "How can we save them?" She asked Flynn who pointed at a cannon.
"Over there, that cannon looks like it could be useful." Flynn said before looking at the locks on the gate. "I'll bet if you climb inside the turret, you can shoot the locks off the gate!" Sunset went right to work, taking out the Drow, jumping into the turret and blasting the locks right off the gate. Karai and Fluttershy were so glad to see Sunset and Fugitoid again. The four friends from New York hugged each other as if they haven't seen each other for a long, long time.
"It's go good to see you again." Fluttershy said.
"Me too, but where did you guys go?" Sunset asked the two girls.
"When we stepped through the portal, we got separated from the rest of the group. soon after words we got captured by those green guys." Karai explained.
"But at least we met Cali here." Fluttershy said, pointing to Cail, who was staring at Spyro and the others.
"You're guys are Skylanders, aren't you?" Cali asked, excited at what just happened. "This is unbelievable. We were just rescued by real Skylanders."
"Let's not forget Sunset and Fugitoid, who led us here." Spyro said, making Sunset blush a little. Then Flynn's balloon landed on a dock nearby.
"Ahem... and ME. I helped!." Flynn said before introducing himself. "Flynn the Balloonist here - that's me - at your service." Cali and Karai were unimpressed.
"Charming" Cali said sarcastically.
"I can just feel the might flowing through you." Karai added.
"Yes, yes, I know." Flynn said with a grin, "It must be pretty overwhelming for you to finally meet the best pilot in all of Skylands." Everyone got on the balloon as it prepared to take off.
"You know, we didn't need any help back there." Karai said "I had them right where I wanted them.
"Sure you did." Flynn said.
"Whatever..." Karai said sarcastically.
"Well...'' Flynn said with charm and style. ”Yes, ma'am... You...are...welcome."
"Fugitoid, where are the others?" Karai asked.
"They must be in other places throughout Skylands." Fugitoid said.
"So where are we going now?" Fluttershy asked Sunset.
"To the Ruins, where someone is waiting for us." Sunset said before adding something important. "Someone who, according to Spyro, is scared of sheep."
"Huh?" Fluttershy asked, totally confused.
"You'll see what she means when we get there." Fugitoid said.
When our heroes got there, Fluttershy really did see what Sunset meant when they saw Hugo up in a tree surrounded by sheep, as scared as a jack-rabbit that has heard the howl of a wolf.
"Back, back you vile beasts!" Hugo yelled in a panic stricken voice.
"Don't worry, I'll take them off your hands for you." Futtershy said before leading the sheep away. She and Fugitoid quickly put together a pen for the sheep to live in.
"Honestly, Hugo!" Cali said when Fluttershy and Fugitoid were finished with the pen. "They're just sheep!"
"That is where you are where you are wrong, my dear Cali." Hugo said before speaking about sheep. "These creatures may appear to be friendly, cuddly, piles of fluff, but turn your back on them and they turn into suspicious looking lint-balls with beady little eyes staring at your every move!" That even made Fluttershy look back at the sheep for a second, but just nodded it of as evidence of his fear of them.
"Sorry for the lint-balls Hugo, but we were able to rescue Cali and some of Sunset's friends." Flynn said.
"Actually... it was the Skylander who rescued-" Cali started, but Flynn interrupted her.
"Oh...oh Cali" Flynn said with a chuckle. "Stop with the praise! it's embarrassing. Entirely appropriate...but embarrassing." Hugo was getting impatient.
"Hey!" he said a bit tensely. "Could we please get on with important things?"
"He's right, we should focus on the important things." Karai said to everyone before turning to Hugo. "So what's up?"
"Well, you see, while you were away, I found the old blueprints for the Core of Light." Hugo said while walking to where it once stood. "The ancients used them when they first built it." At this point, Cali was confused.
"Wait a second... I thought you said YOU built the Core of Light." Cali said
"Well, yes and no." Hugo said embarrassingly. "Yes I said I did... but no, I really didn't."
"What does this Core do exactly?" Fluttershy asked.
"I'm glad you asked my dear." Hugo said before he explained "The old Core was used to repel the forces of darkness. So, if we rebuild a new Core of Light, it should stop Kaos and his elites from their wicked plan to rule Skylands, then we can focus on taking those villainous sheep to a place where they can't be a problem." Fluttershy was wondering where to put them where they can be happy.
"So where do we start?" Karai asked.
"Well Karai, the Far Viewer will help us find the parts we need to rebuild the Core but this cursed, overgrown bramble is blocking it off." Hugo said before turning to Sunset. "Could you assist us, great one? Clearing this bramble could give us a clue to the whereabouts of the Eternal Sources we need."
"Okay here it goes." Sunset said as she and the others clear the bramble. Soon they found a strange thing starts to move around and suddenly turn into a telescope, launching three sheep into the air, making everyone but Hugo worried about them.
"You did it!" Hugo said. "And wow, not only will the Far Viewer help us see distant lands, but it also functions as a sheep-launching device! It's marvelous!" Spyro went up to see where they landed.
"And it looks like they landed in a rather large island with lots of grass, and they seem to be okay." Spyro said, causing Fluttershy to give a sigh of relief.
"Here, I'll show you how to use it." Cali said before approaching the Far Viewer. "It's pretty much a telescope, but a lot more magical. This one's a little rusty, but it should be able to show us exactly where we need to go next. That's the magic part."
"Yes!" Hugo said as he looked through the Far Viewer. "I see it right now! The very first Eternal Source we need - Air! The Core of Light was powered by all the Eternal Sources, so if we can acquire the Eternal Air Source, we will be well on our way to rebuilding it!"
"Great, then let’s go get it!" Sunset said before realizing that she doesn't know where it is and asks the obvious question. "So, um, where is it?"
"It's at the Stormy Stronghold!" Hugo said. "Tony Thunder and the evil Drow must have recovered it, but something's gone wrong. The whole place is being blown apart!" Flynn soon looked at what Hugo saw and had an idea.
"My balloon's gonna need something..." He said. "Something that will PUSH me... THROUGH the storm!."
"Um, like a propeller?" Fluttershy asked.
"No, no, nothing like that. Oh you are so cute when you're flirting with me." Flynn said, causing Fluttershy to blush a bit. Then it hit him. "I got it, what we need is some kind of propeller!"
"Really? REALLY?!" Cali asked before regaining her cool. "Fine! Everyone knows the drow patrol the Sky Schooner Docks. Their Elite Airship will have the propeller we need. Tell you what, brain-trust, you get back to your balloon, and i'll mark it on the map with a big crayon."
"HEY! I LIKE CRAYONS!" Flynn said before heading off to his balloon. Hugo turned to our heroes.
"This is a very important mission!" Hugo said. "Go find Flynn when your ready to depart."
"Okay Hugo." Sunset said before getting an idea. "Maybe some more of our friends are at the Sky Schooner Docks."
"It's worth a shot." Karai said before our heroes met Flynn.
"Ready to take off into the wild blue with Skylands' greatest pilot?" Flynn asked.
"Yep let's go get that propeller." Spyro said.
"Aces!" Flynn said before going to his balloon. "Let's go!" He soon took the balloon up and away, but not before hitting that rock again. "Oh yeah that's two for me! But who's counting. Oh yeah... I am." Sunset chuckled just a bit but then started worrying about the rest of her friends and where in Skylands they are.
Our heroes soon arrive at the Sky Schooner Docks, where the Drow patrol 24/7, and Flynn explained what they have to do.
"All we need to do is find their elite airship take it down and steal their Golden Propeller." Flynn said. "See? Simple! This is gonna be a piece of cake. Especially for heroes like us. Heroes who like cake."
"Okay, we'll go get the Golden Propeller, and we'll signal you when we have it." Sunset said before leading our heroes off to find it. Along the way, Sunset was wondering how the other 4 Skylanders came to be who they are. "Hey you know we never got to hear the rest of your origin stories." She said to Spyro.
"Well, I think it's Eruptor's turn to tell how he became a Skylander." Spyro said as Eruptor prepared to tell his story.
"Well, it's like this, I am a hot-headed lava beast who hails from the sweltering underground caverns of a volcanic island." He began as a flashback occurred showing a rather literally hot city with lava monsters arguing at each other. "There, in the suffocating heat, arguments often boiled over. And lava creatures always argue. So it was no surprise when a ferocious fight broke out at a lava pool party. But this was no small squabble or shouting match. The fury of hundreds of fuming lava creatures created catastrophic pressure, until... KABOOM!" The scene changes to the volcano erupting, launching lava monsters throughout Skylands. "The volcano exploded, scattering disgruntled lava creatures across Skylands. The residents of Skylands had never seen lava creatures before and many misunderstandings followed." The scene changed again to lava monsters scaring everyone off. "Lava creatures are not only sullen, stubborn and easily angered, they are also very hard to understand. Several villages were burned as a result." The scene changed again to Eruptor enjoying the peace and tranquillity of Skylands. "But the Skylands atmosphere had a quite different effect on me. I unclenched my jaw, took a long breath of cool air and felt a lifetime of rage subside. Nowadays, I am considered calm and sensible - by lava creature standards, at least." The scene changes to him fighting evil doers with his eruptions "Still, trolls try my temper and Kaos causes crankiness, leading to me to as my name suggest - ERUPT! For this reason, Master Eon was pleased to invite me on board... although he tended to keep his distance." Soon the scene changed back to the docks
"My my, that is rather surprising for a lava monster." Fugitoid said.
"That's nothing to my tale of heroism." Lightning Rod said as his flashback showed him at a colosseum high in the clouds with storm giants competing. "We storm giants are the ancient athletic heroes of Skylands who like to be number one in every event. Aside from being able to bench-press 250 tons, few things are important to the storm giants than their grand competitive games." The scene changed to Lighting Rod presenting his skills "And the celebrated champion of the storm giant sporting elite is me. I am the storm giants' most talented thrower, and sat atop of the table in the thousand-metre lightning bolt hurl for many a year (that was until he sent a stray bolt into the crowd, electrifying a spectating cyclops in the process)." The scene changed to Kaos' giant projected head showing up and being evil as usual. "But it was during a different event - the triple gold ring lightning bolt toss with a twist - that I hit the headlines. Just as I was flexing for the throw, Kaos' giant projected head appeared above the crowd, demanding - as usual - that all in attendance submit to his rule." The scene change to Lightning Rod throwing a bolt right at Kaos. "But I wasn't used to sharing the spotlight, so he hurled his bolt skyward. So powerful was the throw that it ripped past the project and into Kaos himself, who was hiding behind in an airship." The scene then changed to Kaos' fortress leaving and Eon making Lightning Rod a Skylander. "Seething with anger and spitting blue sparks, Kaos had to accept defeat and flew away. But another attending Portal Master - Eon - had also seen the action, and immediately made me a Skylander."
"Whoa, I wish I could have seen it." Karai said.
"Yo, you guys should hear how I became a Skylander." Terrafin said as he began. "I'm the brawling shark boxer who likes close quarter combat." He said as another flashback showed a vast dessert with sharks playing and Terrafin being a lifeguard. "I built up my brawny biceps on the beaches of the Dirt Sea, where my worked as a lifeguard. In between fin-ups and jaw-curls he would patrol the dry, sandy waves and save struggling dune-swimmers from a lifetime of finding sand in unusual places." The scene changed to a huge explosion and sharks fleeing in terror and Terrafin rushing to save them. "One day, an explosion in the sky threatened every swimmer, surfer and jet-skier in (and above) the Dirt Sea. I leapt from my life-saving seat and cleared the area in seconds." The scene changed to the sand turning to glass in an instant. "Moments later, the blast burned across the sand and scorched it into a solid sheet of glass." We then see Terrafin being a boxer in a tournament. "Now unemployed, I trained myself as a tournament boxer. I even developed his own signature move: the risky 'over under', where I would punch, dive underground, and surface for the finishing blow." One final scene shows Terrafin hanging his belt and joining the Skylanders After body-slamming every suitable successor into stunned submission, I hung up his boxing belt. Now, at Master Eon's suggestion, I only dukes it out with enemies of Skylands - and often daydreams of knocking out Kaos in bare-knuckled bout."
"Whoa, you must have had a lot of competition." Sunset said in awe.
"Oh, I did." Terrafin said before turning to Chop Chop. "Okay, Chop Chop, it's your turn to tell your origin story."
"Well if you insist." Chop Chop said as he began his solemn tale. "I was once an elite warrior belonging to the ancient race of Arkeyan beings." He said as his flashback showed him being a soldier in a mighty army and Chop Chop being brought into the world. "Like many of the Arkeyans, I was created from a hybrid of elements - in my case, undead magic and technology." The scene changed to him showing off is swordsman skills. "I is a relentless, highly-skilled soldier who wields a sword and shield made of an indestructible metal." The scene then changed to all the Arkeyan machines standing still. "With the Arkeyans having vanished long ago, all that was left of the Arkeyans were their machines, toiling away evermore. One of those machines was me, the last in a line of elite guards." The scene then changed to Chop Chop leaving his home to see the surface. "But I got fed up. There's nothing more tedious than being an Undead machine. It never seemed to end! So he stomped up to the surface to seek out new orders." We then see him wandering as time moved by him. "I wandered for centuries without a creator or a clue. Until that is, I stumbled upon another 'last of my kind'; Master Eon. No sooner had we met, my indestructible sword and shield were put to good use in the battle to protect the universe."
"It must have been awful being alone all that time." Fluttershy said, feeling sorry for him.
"It was, but now I have more friends than I ever knew I could have wanted." Chop Chop said. At that moment they heard a dog barking behind a door. Sunset immediately recognized the barking.
"Spike is that you?" Sunset asked in anticipation.
"Yeah it's me, and Shini and one other girl is here too." Spike said.
"What does she look like?" Spyro asked.
"Well, she has blue hair and eyes, red clothes, and strangely wings and a tail of light where her legs should be." Spike explained.
"She must be a fairy." Spyro said before backing up. "Okay you three, stand clear of the door!" Spyro then charged the door freeing all three prisoners. The fairy was friendly and greeted everyone with a smile.
"Hello extremely!" she said with a grin. "So much fun that the Skylanders are back! We fairies always dance with Skylanders. I am Persephone." Our heroes soon noticed the Drow's elite airship in the distance. "Oh dear! At it again, silly Drow! I'd best go back to the Core of Light. I will meet you there later for dancing. Happy luck, great Skylander." Persephone then left flew away and our heroes went on. Along the way, Spike and Shini talked about how they got locked up in that room and met Persephone. They soon saw the Drow elite airship with the Golden Propeller on it. They soon had a plan to shoot it down with the nearby turret, which it what they did. Soon the airship was going down and the Golden Propeller fell off and landed nearby. They soon acquired it and saw Flynn's balloon land nearby.
"Impressive." Flynn said. "Almost as impressive as me. Boom! Well, now we should be able to fly even higher!" Our heroes soon got on the balloon and headed off. Soon, they return to the ruins where they saw Persephone again.
"Happy to dance in this old place." Persephone said. "Here is bright and smooth, with many secret parties. We'll play here for a while time. I will wish luck on your journey. I will! I will!" Persephone soon went to a far part of the island. Flynn soon met our heroes.
"I can see you hit it off with Persephone." He said. "Strange girl, that one...seems to be immune to my charms, poor thing. Well it's gonna take me some time to install this propeller, so why don'tcha cool your jets, take a load off."
"Okay, we'll do that." Our heroes soon layed down and rested nearby. It wasn't long before they were woken up rather suddenly by Flynn.
"Finally!" He said "An awesome balloon for an even more awesomer pilot. BOOM! It's got a fuel injected croc-a-gator, a vacuum seal-a-tron, and jet-stream thrust capacitor. Oh yeah, I'm so good I did it all by myself...even had a few parts left over!"
"A few parts?!?!" Fugitoid asked looking at the pile of spare parts.
"Ready to go, chief?" Flynn asked.
"Yeah, let's go find the Eternal Air Source!" Sunset said.
"Okay!" Flynn said. "Let's see what this baby can do!" Our heroes soon blasted off into the wild blue yonder, unaware that a evil looking storm cloud was following them with a voice speaking from inside.
"IT'S THUNDER TIME!" The voice said as it zoomed after the balloon.
Our heroes soon arrived at Stormy Stronghold, where a very large twister has indeed torn the place apart.
"Wowsers!" Flynn said. "Now THAT'S A TWISTER! And it's ripping that castle the pieces! It's almost as impressive as me, almost. Looks like the little Drow-dudes found the Eternal Air whatsamadingus and are now trying to harness its power. I guess."
"Okay we just need to find a way to get in there." Sunset said as the balloon landed. Flynn the noticed their only way in.
"Well know - looky there: some kinda bridge." Flynn said. " Of Course right now it's just a bunch of giant swirling chunky things stuck in the vortex of a killer tornado. But hey! All you gotta do is figure out a way to rebuild it. CAKE!"
"Okay Flynn, well see if we can find something." Sunset said before heading off with the others, unaware that the dark storm cloud that followed them from the ruins was spying on them from above. Soon our heroes came across a corkscrew-like device with a moon on the top surging with energy. "What's that?" Sunset asked Spyro.
"That's a pylon, it channels electric energy when it's up." Spyro explained. Sunset thought for a minute then had an idea.
"If we move the pylon down, do you think we could stop the storm?" Sunset asked.
"It's worth a try." Spyro said. They soon turned the pylon until it stopped channeling energy, causing the tornado to lighten up a bit and pieces of the bridge to drop directly into place. "Looks like we'll need to lower 3 more pylons to stop the tornado and fox the bridge."
"Then let's get to work." Sunset said heading off followed by the others. Before too long, our heroes lower down 3 more pylons, completely rebuilding the bridge and stopping the tornado. "Okay, now that the tornado's stopped lets go get the Eternal Air Source. They cross the bridge and started on their way up, battling many foes to reach the Eternal Air Source. They soon reach the top of the stronghold and see it, The Eternal Air Source, in all its glory. "Alright! Let's grab it and get out of here!" Sunset said, but just as she was about to grab it, she sees a lighting bolt head towards her and jump out of the way just in time. The lightning bolt came from the stormcloud that followed them here. Soon in zoomed down to ground level like a rocket, and a large figure jumps off it. He is light blue with a stormcloud for hair, a leather jacket, and a face that looks rather primitive.
"Finally, I've been trying to catch up to you guys all day!" The figure said.
"Who are you?" Fugitoid asked the stranger.
"Oh, I'm sorry Dr.Neradnik." The stranger said before cracking his knuckles, which causes electricity to charge in his fists. "My card." He then punches Fugitoid, who flew into the others and felt like a lightning bolt hit him.
"Are you okay Fugitoid?" Sunset asked in concern.
"I'm fine, but I feel like I was just charged up." Fugitoid said, still dizzy from the punch.
"What can I say, my punches leave you charges up." The stranger said before introducing himself. "The name's Tony Thunder. That's T as in terminate, O as in obliterate, N as in 'Nialate, and Y as, uh, well I get yell really loud at you counts. What do you think?" Spyro soon knocked him across the room.
"Sorry about that, he's nuts." Spyro said. They then saw Tony Thunder still standing as shook it off like it was nothing.
"Thanks Spyro, didn't know you cared for me that way." Tony Thunder said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the air symbol on them. "Just for that I have some old friends who want to say hi to ya." He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing mind control helmets that look like buckets. The first one of them is a griffin with bracelets and a head piece, the second is a light blue turtle with horns, fins and spikes on his shell, and the third is a mix between a unicorn and a dragon with feathery wings. The Skylanders recognized them right away.
"Sonic Boom, Warnado, and Whirlwind?" Spyro asked in shock. "What happened to you?"
"Oh that's right, you guys were gone for a long time." Tony Thunder said before explaining. "The boss found your friends and turned them into mindless minions, and said the only way to turn them back is to destroy the mind control helmets." He then realized something kinda obvious. "Uh, maybe I said too much."
"Actually, you said just enough." Spyro said with a grin. "Thanks Tony."
"Yeah, well the helmets also enhance their powers so all 8 of you will have to fight them." Tony said in desperation.
"That's ok cause we have friends to make sure you don't try anything." Spyro said before turning to Sunset and the girls. "You guys deal with Tony Thunder, we'll handle this!"
"You got is Spyro!" Sunset said before she, Fugitoid, Karai, Fluttershy, and Shini went to face Tony Thunder while the Skylanders try to free their friends from their mind control. "So your Tony Thunder, one of Kaos' Elemental Elites?" She asked, preping herself to fight.
"Yeah, that's me." Tony said before getting something off his chest. "You know, when I saw you marching through my territory, there was something so familiar about you, I couldn't put my finger. Then it hit me, your Eon's little kid aren't ya, the little tyke that vanished after one of our battles."
"Yeah, and now I've come back to finish what he started!" Sunset said in determination.

"Yeah, well your gonna have to put a hold and that, cause I'm about to finish you right here." Tony Thunder said before he snapped his fingers which started a rock and roll musical number. They both soon started dancing while a storm was forming.

You stink at beating dad Poor Sunny, are you sad? Not as sad as you're gonna be this hour I didn’t come to fight I'm here to set things right I make storms, were you expecting flowers?

While all of this was going down the Skylanders freed their friends from mind control, who passed out. Our 8 heroes and the others then saw Sunset beat Tony Thunder with her rock and roll skills.

Tony Thunder soon found himself surrounded by our heroes. "Well played kid, I'll see you around." He soon jumped into his cloud and raced off. Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who were just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro is that you?" Whirlwind asked focusing her eyes.
"What happened?" Warnado asked looking around.
"And who are these strange creatures?" Sonic Boom asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Air Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." everyone soon grabbed the Eternal Air Source, which soon formed a less dangerous tornado that carried them off. Flynn saw this and followed them on his balloon.
"Hey, nice ride." Flynn said
"Thanks." Spyro said. They soon arrived at the ruins and landed near the place where the core of light once stood and the Eternal Air Source soon went to work. Sunset soon heard Master Eon's voice calling from beyond.
"Well done my child." He said. "Your retrieval of the Eternal Air Source has summoned me back from these ruins. There is strong magic in this place, and by its power, the Eternal Sources know how to combine with the ancient machinery of this island to recreate the Core of Light. Behold!" The Eternal Air Source soon placed itself on the ground, creating a tornado that pulled in two stone statues with no arms and big holes on the front that looks like it could collect water. as the tornado vanished, it left behind a strange floor that looks like the foundation for the Core of Light. Unknown to our heroes is that Kaos is watching all of this from his looking portal.
"OHHHH WHAT!?" He said before falling off his portal. Glumshanks and another of his elites soon entered the room. This elite is persian cat like in appearance, wears wizard clothes, and and has a sinister charisma on him. This is Meowsmerosis, leader of the Elemental Elites.
"Oh look, Lord Kaos, they found the Eternal Air Source." Glumshanks said.
"Well, ladeeda." Meowsmerosis said sarcastically.
"I can see they found the Eternal Air Source, YOU FOOLS!" Kaos said while trying to get back on his portal. "But looks who's with them, EON! But how can this be? I blew him up! Kaboom! Splat! Done! But look at him!" Glumshanks decided to look on the bright side of things.
"Well, at least he doesn't have his body." He said, which got Meowsmerosis thinking.
"Well in my opinion, it seems highly unlikely that he'd pull this off alone in his condition." He said.
"Right, obviously somebody's helping him." Kaos said. "But who? And what are they up to?" Glumshanks then had an idea.
"Well, I'm no expert as you know, but there must be another portal master somewhere. They're probably rebuilding the Core of Light." He said.
"WHAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!" Kaos asked as he jumped of his portal again. He soon got up and knew what to do. "We can't let that happen!" He then turned to Meowsmerosis. "Find the other Eternal Sources! I don't care where they are! JUST GET THEM!"
"Yes sir." Meowserosis said through his teeth as Kaos and Glumshanks left. After they lefts his attitude changed completely. "When I start the exicutions after I take this world from you, MY MASTER, YOU will the the FIRST on my list!" He said before the door opened revealing Tony Thunder peeking in.
"Hey, so are just as mad as the boss is that I lost the Eternal Air thingy?" He asked.
"Well there's room on my exicution list for you, if that what you mean." Meowsmerosis said.
"Right." Tony Thunder said before coming in.
"So, is she the very person I saw in the dreams?" Meowsmerosis asked
"Yeah, it's her alright, she told be herself." Tony Thunder said.
"So, Eon's child has returned." Meowsmerosis said with a sly grin. "Well, let's give her the time of her life. Send in Captain Kraken." They then left to create their plans.
Back at the ruins Hugo was admiring the work of our heroes. "The Eternal Air Source has been intergrated into the Core!" He said. "Excellent work! Oh this is coming along very nicely indeed - but I'll need some time to figure out our next step." He then pointed to a flight of stairs that lead to the docks. "Why don't you go investigate the docks. There seems to be real ruckus going on over there."
"Okay Hugo, lets go guys." Spyro said as our heroes go toward the docks. They soon see a jail cell with 3 prisoners inside, two of them being our own April O'Neil and Starlight Glimmer, and the third being a fish like creature with light green skin and orange clothes.
"April! Starlight!" Sunset said
"Sunset! Guys!" April and Starlight said
"Say, if you are going to eat me, you should know that I'm really salty and kinda high in cholesteral." the creature said. Next to the cell is lock with an imp in it.
"Ifb U arr eabt me...I'b saltby and phat too." The imp repeated kind of strangly.
"Huh?" Sunset asked.
"Imps tend to talk weird." Spyro said.
"Oh great." the fishman said. "Someone get us out of here!"
"Summon gettus underwear! Hahahaha!" the imp said.
"Sheesh." the fishman said. "I actually had to sit here and listen to that monster make up recipes - and i was the main ingredient! UGH... This is just the worst. Um...a little help? Please? Take a look inside the lock and see if you can trip the tumblers."
"Okay, I'll see what I can do." Sunset said before she looked inside the lock. she soon tripped the tumblers by turning the lock so that the imp can land on deactivation pads. The lock is destroyed and the cell opened up. The three cell mates walked out.
"Holy Carp, that was close!" The fishman said. "I came here looking for you, Skylanders, but instead I ended up that cage and the three of us were almost made into Alien and Gillman Goulash!"
"We're not aliens, we're human beings." April said
"Well actually, I'm a pony where I'm from, but still." Starlight said with a grin. Just then, Hugo showed up and was very suspicious of the fishman.
"Hmmm." He said "You wouldn't happen to have any sheep on you, would you Mister Fish."
"Gurglefin." The fishman said.
"Gezunthiet." Hugo replied.
"No, my name , it's Gurglefin." The fishman explained. "I'm a Gillman, not a fish. And where would I even keep a sheep anyway? I'm not wearing any pants."
"Oh, right, I see." Hugo said, a bit embarrassed.
"So where did you two end up?" Sunset asked April.
"We wound up on a ship owned by Gurglefin, who was coming here." April said.
"I've been looking for you, Skylanders." Gurglefin said. "I come form a nearby island where trolls have taken over and enslaved the rest of my kind. Please help us."
"Oh my." Fluttershy said
"Hmm, Trolls." Hugo added. "Very dangerous if not on our side. Not like sheep mind you, but still. You should help them. They're obviously in a fine kettle of fish. Oh... sorry."
"Watch it, mole butt." Gurglefin said. Shortly afterward, Gurglefin's ship pulled up to the docks. "Anyway, I you guys were all right. Are you ready to shove off to Oilspill Island?"
"You bet we are!" Sunset said ready to set sail. "All aboard to Oilspill Island
"Finally, someone who takes me seriously!" Gurglefin exclaimed. "No cracks about "the one that got away" or a "really big fish story". Sheesh! Okay, let's go!" They all got aboard he ship and shoved off. Gurglefin soon gave everyone a heads up. "Um... Yeah... By the way, you might want to hold on to something."
"Why?" Sunset asked. Just then they went over a waterfall and then flew off to Oilspill Island.
Our Heroes soon arrived on Oilspill Island, named because of all the oil machines and the black water.
"You know this used to be a beautiful place." Gurglefin said. "Before the trolls came and started drilling for Oil. They give it all to Kaos for his crazy machines. And then, if things weren't bad enough, they captured my people."
"That's awful." Fluttershy said.
"But now you guys are here." Gurglefin said in elation. "Go take care of business, Skylanders. Free them and teach those trolls a lesson. And hurry! I can already smell the cooking fires and tartar sauce! Save our people before they become FISH STICKS!"
"Okay, lets go!" Sunset said. Our heroes soon went off to free the Gillmen. Sunset and Fluttershy soon noticed that Sonic Boom's hatchlings return to eggs mere minuets after every time she tosses the eggs to hatch and fight the bad guys.
"Umm Sonic Boom, are your hatchlings OK?" Fluttershy asked.
"Well, kind of." Sonic Boom said as a flashback showed Sonic Boom on top of a mountain. "Long ago, I took refuge high atop a mountain peak in the far reaches of Skylands, hoping to keep my griffin hatchlings safe." The scene changed to a wizard climbing the mountain. "When I chose the highest mountain peak to lay my eggs, little did I know that I was being watched by an evil wizard." The scene then changed to the wizard going invisible by wearing a cloak. "Wearing a cloak of invisibility, the wizard made his way to my nest, where he hoped to snatch a baby griffin feather for one of this wicked spells." We then see Sonic Boom shrieking louder than ever before. "Wizards live on a digusting diet of liver and brussel sprouts so, while I could not see an egg-thief, I could certainly smell one. I filled the sky with an ear-shattering shriek and the wizard stumbled backwards out of his cloak." Then, we see the wizard casting a magic spell, causing the hatchlings to hatch out for a few minutes, only to change back into eggs. "But as he fell, the wizard put the young hatchlings under a cruel curse. Now, the babies can only break from their egg shells, for mere minutes before returning to one of their eggs, trapped in an endless cycle of rebirth." We then see Sonic Boom and the babies fighting evil doers. "My hatchlings and I have used the curse to our advantage, however, and are now the first Skylanders to fight as a family. Our speciality is wiping out spout-stinking wizards."
"Well, that's good to know, but did you ever find a way to reverse the curse yet?" Sunset asked.
"Not yet, but someday I'll find a way." Sonic Boom said with confidence.
"That's good." Fluttershy said. They soon found the Gillmen locked in a caged. After fighting some goons for the key, they unlocked the cage and set the Gillmen free. Gurglefin soon arrived to thank them.
"You did it!" He said. "You know, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. I hate to say it though... but we still need your help."
"What's up, Gurglefin?" April asked.
"It's this factory." Gurglefin said. "It's polluting our waters and generally mucking things up. It's ruining everything. Please help us destroy it!" Gurglefin then had an idea "Say, you know - if you could get your fins on a Troll Bomb and maybe throw it into that big smoke belcher, I think that would do it! -KABOOM!! The trolls would be gone, our home would be safe, and then maybe I'd run out of things to complain about! --Although probably not."
"Okay, let's do it!" Sunset said before she and the others went off to find a troll bomb. They soon found a bomb and lit it before throwing it into the belcher, then they ran off just before it exploded. Everyone cheered at their bravery.
"That was great!" Gurglefin exclaimed "Especially for a land lubber! You saved us all! Thank you!"
"Your welcome!" Sunset said with a grin. "Okay gang, let's get out of here." They soon returned to the ruins where Hugo was waiting for them. "Hey Hugo, what's up.
"I keep trying to look..." Hugo said but Gurglefin was building something and the noise was drowning him out. "through the Far Viewer but it's a little rusty and it won't turn past a certain point!. DO YOU MIND FISH FINGERS! I'M TRYING TO CONCENTRATE!"
"THERE!!" Gurglefin said. "It's finished! TADA!!"
"So, um, what it is it?" Fluttershy asked.
"AHEM!" Gurglefin said "On behalf of my people, I present you with this Oil Donkey! I didn't name it. And it comes with all the Oil you can ever want!"
"Very impressive, Mr. Gurglefin." Hugo said. "And that's exactly what we need right now! Perfect! we should be able to use it on the Far Viewer! Grab a can of that stuff and meet me up there!" He then went on ahead
"Okay Hugo!" Sunset said as she grabbed an oil can and went to the Far Viewer. She then put some oil on it. Hugo then looked into it before he gasped.
"There it is..." He said "The twin... let me back up a step." He then turned around and explained himself to our heroes. "We'll need the Eternal Water Source to add to the Core of Light. But, according to my blueprints, the water is no good to us unless we can get something called the Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor! Which I found, there!" Gurglefin then looked into the Far Viewer.
"Holy Anchovy!" He said. "That's Dark Water Cove! Ooh, it's a nasty place, filled with Pirates. I'll bet the Twin Spouts will fetch a pretty penny for a plundering pirate. Sorry for the alliteration there. Let me prepare the ship then. I'll just go. I'll go now."
"As much as I hate to say it, you should go with Gurglefin." Hugo said to our heroes. "I'll keep looking for clues to the Eternal Water Source. You can leave whenever you're ready."
"Okay Hugo!" Sunset said. Our heroes then went to the docks to meet Gurglefin who had finished prepping the ship.
"We'll, I hope everything's in working order. Never really know, but what the heck - life's a carp shoot, right?"
"Right." Sunset said before turning to her friends. "Okay, let's go get the Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor!!"
"Great!!" Gurglefin said. "Terrific! I love a long water voyage! We'll set sail at once! Gee, I hope I don't get see sick..." Our heroes then got onboard an the ship soon set off. Gurglefin then got seasick. "OOOOPH! Too late."
Our heroes soon arrive in Dark Water Cove, only to see that the gate is closed.
"It figures." Gurglefin said. "The main gates are closed. I guess we'll have to land at the outer island." They soon dock on the outer island. "Looks like we're going to have to find a way inside the fortress if we're going to retrieve the Spouts." He said before sighing. "Yup, this is juuuuuuuuuuuust perfect."
"Don't worry Gurglefin." Sunset said. "We'll find a way to get the Spouts." Gurglefin then got terrified.
"CARP!" He said. "We've been spotted by their artillery!" They soon see a cannon fire at the ship, causing it to sink into the sea. "That sure is going to make things a lot harder. Guess the best thing to do is to keep out of their crosshairs."
"Good idea." Fluttershy said. Our heroes then went to find the Twin Spouts. Along the way, Sunset was curious as to how Warnado come to be a Skylander
"So Warnado, when did you start being a Skylander?" She asked.
"Oh my story begins long before I became a Skylander." Warnado said as a flashback showed a turtle's nest in a swamp and a tornado approaching. "You see, I was supposed to be born a simple turtle and lead a humdrum life in a Skylands swamp. But in an exciting turn, while still a tiny, unassuming egg, I was plucked from his nest by an enchanted twister and sucked into the sky." The scene changed to the egg hatching in the tornado. "Upon hatching, I found myself being hurled around the spinning centre of the twister with no apparent way out." We then see Warnado learning the ways of the tornado for many years. "After a while, I became quite accustomed to my twirly, whirly surroundings. Being enchanted, the twister taught me his Elemental secrets and magical wind tricks. By the time I hit adulthood, I was as skilled as a senior Skylands sorcerer." Next, we see Warnado being knocked out of the tornado and landing on solid ground. "And it was around this time that the next exceptional event took place: a storm of dark magic collided with the twister, knocking me out onto solid ground for the first time in my life. But, to a turtle, who had spent his life inside a twister, solid ground didn't feel all that solid. In fact, it made me a little seasick, or perhaps landsick." Finally, we see Warnado spinning into Whirlwind, and then Whirlwind taking Warnado to Master Eon. I found that the only way to avoid dizziness was to avoid standing still all together - so I carried on spinning. As I twisted and turned across the Skylands terrain, I was spotted by a creature in kind - Whirlwind. Whirlwind presented me to Master Eon, who managed to convince me to sit still for just long enough to make him his latest Skylander."
"Wow, that's some tale!" Sunset said.
"I'll have to tell you my tale some time." Whirlwind said. Our heroes soon found themselves in ancient temple where they spot it, The Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor!
"Alright, we found it!" Sunset said before grabbing it. "Now let's take it back to Gurglefin!" They soon found Gurglefin.
"Great work!" Gurglefin said "Now we just have to capture this Frigate and get out of here." They soon get on a Frigate, but forget that the main gate it locked. "BLAST! We need to open the main gate! Two things to know: One - the pirates say the switch is way up on that tower." He pointed at said switch. "And two: they also lie a lot. Dunno. Good luck. Lemme know how you do."
"Let me handle this." Karai said before leaping off the Frigate and beating pirates to reach the switch. She soon pressed the switch and returned to the ship before the gate lowered. They soon set off with Gurglefin at the helm.
"Yes, we did it!" Gurglefin said. "We're free! - And on one of their own ships! HA! You know I've always wanted to be a pirate! I wonder how I'd look with an eye patch." Unknown to our heroes, another pirate ship followed close behind, but not too close so that they wouldn't see it, and on the helm is a hooded figure with tenticles coming out of the hood.
"Excillient!" The hooded helmsman said. "Looks like it's time for a voyage!" the helmsman then continued following them. Back at the ruins, our heroes heard Eon's voice calling.
"Behold, The Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor!" Eon said "Forged from the scales of the Leviathan." Then the Twin Spouts put themselves in the middle of the area and underground, pipes started going down and attached to sockets, which made more pipes come out to an underground river.
"Now that the Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor are in place, we can talk about the Eternal Water Source." Hugo said. "Turns out it's located on a string of islands."
"String of islands?" Gurglefin asked. "Heh! What are we waiting for? I'll get the boat ready."
"Oh, you'll need more than a boat, I'm afraid." Hugo said. "From what I've heard, the Eternal Water Source has returned to the sea - and can ONLY be summoned by the four ancient statues on these islands."
"No problem, Hugo." Sunset said. "We'll just find the statues and get Eternal Water Source."
"Um, why do I think that there's a big "BUT" in all this?" Gurglefin asked.
"BUT - It's also home to Captain Kraken, one of Kaos' Elemental Elites, and I've also heard rumors of a giant fish who lives in those waters." Hugo added. "It's said that he eats whole villages. The locals call him LEVIATHAN."
"Leviathan?" Sunset asked.
"L-L-LEVIATHAN?!?!?!?!" Gurglefin shrieked before fainting. "Uuuugh...."
"It looks as if we have more than just Kaos, his Elemental Elites and The Darkness to worry about." Hugo said. "You must be extremely cautious."
"So, you guys ready to go and get savagely eaten by a giant fish?" Gurglefin asked before changing his question. "Er I mean, find the Eternal Water Source?"
"Come on Gurglefin, we can handle a giant fish." Sunset asked before 'helping' him onboard. They soon set of for Leviathan Lagoon.
"I hate this part." Gurglefin said as the ship went of the waterfall and flew away.
Our heroes soon arrive at Leviathan Lagoon, where the Eternal Water Source dwells. They started by observing the area to find the place filled with pirates
"More Pirates!" Gurglefin said. "Sheesh! Like I don't get enough of these guys. They might be looking for the statues in these islands too, so watch your tailfin out there. Oh, and if you see an evil pirate or a giant killer fish along the way, DON'T call me. Heh."
"Don't worry, we won't." Sunset said. They soon went off to find the statues along the way, Sunset asked Whirlwind if she was a dragon or a unicorn.
"Well, actually, I'm hybrid of both." Whirlwind said before a flashback showed Whirlwind not fitting in anywhere. "Born of both unicorn and dragon descent, I often felt like an oddball outsider." The scene then changed to show unicorns and dragons sneering her. "Unicorns were unimpressed with I wings and dragons disliked the horn on my head." We then see Whirlwind learning to use her tempest powers. "Shunned and seeking solace, I retreated to the cover of storm clouds, where I learned to harness I tempest power." We then see trolls attacking, and Whirlwind chasing them off. "When a troublesome troupe of trolls came searching for unicorn tails and dragon scales, I burst from her cover and unleashed a blinding rainbow to send them fleeing." We then see her being treated as a hero, and Eon giving her a place in the Skylanders "From that day on, unicorns and dragons saw her in a new light. Seeing her purity of heart, Master Eon made her a Skylander. Today, nothing makes a troll tremble like a small, stormy cloud moving speedily towards him."
"Whoa, that must have been awesome!" Sunset said.
"It was!" Whirlwind said. They soon gathered the four statues and placed them on a podium on the farthest island. Just then, at the far end of a dock, they saw it, The Eternal Water Source, emerging from the sea like a mermaid.
"The Eternal Water Source! Alright!" Spyro said. "Let's grab it and take it back to the Core of Light!" Our heroes then approached The Eternal Water Source, but just as they were going to grab it, The Leviathan came out of the sea, and ate our heroes, the dock, and The Eternal Water Source!. Then the hooded figure jumped onto the Leviathan's back and removed his hood, revealing a squid like pirate with tentacles for a beard, and a pearl where one of his eyes should be.
"HAHA!" The Pirate said. "Found ye I did! Now to do what we should have done when you were just a wee babe! Open wide Leviathan!" The Leviathan did is he was told and opened his mouth so that the pirate can enter the monster. "Ah hah! Catch of the day!" He said before jumping in. Inside the Leviathan's mouth, our heroes woke up to find themselves on the remains of a ship. They saw that The Eternal Water Source was okay, but they were met by the pirate from outside. "Well well well, look what the tide washed up." He said to our heroes. "Our old foes, the 8 lost Skylanders, a group of fair maidens, and Eon's little lost foundling. And I see you found The Eternal Water Source for Kaos, let me be the first to thank ye. I be Captain Kraken, Ruler of the seas - and herald to Lord Kaos, Emperor of Skylands and a real Portal Master."
"Yeah?" Sunset asked. "Well he's about to be dethroned."
"We shall see." Captain Kraken said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the water symbol on them. "But first, let's see how your team fairs against me crew." He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before. The first one of them is a water dragon wearing scuba diver gear, the second is a four armed yeti, and the third was a crab-like creature with a large mace.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Zap, Wham-Shell, and Slam Bam." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it. You guys deal with Captain Kraken."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, and Fluttershy then drew pirate swords from dead pirates before faced Captain Kraken. As they prepared to fight, the dead pirate then began to sing in an acapella.
"I've never lost a sword fight to a maiden yet me hearties." Captain Kraken said before he started swinging.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Spyro and the others free Zap, Wham-Shell, and Slam Bam, who passed out while the others and Spike watched our girls fight Captain Kraken.

as the dead pirates increase the intensity of the music, so does our heroes fight with Captain Kraken. Before long, Captain Kraken soon found himself disarmed. "Arrr, ye bested me!" He said before taking his leave. "But next time, ye won't be so lucky." Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro, what's going on?" Zap asked focusing his eyes.
"Where are we?" Wham-Shell asked looking around.
"And where did these people come from?" Slam Bam asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Water Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." everyone soon grabbed the Eternal Water Source, which soon formed a whirlpool that carried our heroes out of the Leviathan's mouth, and past Gurglefin, who got on his ship to follow them.
"Whoa, where did that whirlpool come from?" Gurglefin asked.
"We'll explain later." Spyro said before our heroes arrived to the ruins. They soon hear Eon's voice again from beyond.
"You have brought the Eternal Water Source!" He said. "Excellent! Now water shall return to the Core of Light." The Eternal Water Source then inserted itself into the Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor, causing a podium underneath it to rise, while below in the pipes fill with water, leading up to the Twin Spouts which shoot water into the mouths of the statues. Meanwhile in his fortress, Kaos is surprisingly laughing, making Glumshanks and Meowsmerosis concerned.
"Ummm master." He said. "Is everything all right?"
"Of course everything is alright." Kaos said. "Why wouldn't everything be alright."
"We'll we just thought that since the Skylanders and their friends got the Eternal Water Source -" Glumshanks said only to be interrupted by Kaos.
"HA!" Kaos said. "DO YOU HEAR ME! I SAY HA! Those fools think they're winning. Well their not! Know why?"
"WHY?" Glumshanks and Meowsmerosis asked sarcastically.
"Because the Darkness is spreading, my followers!" Kaos said in triumph. "No matter their feeble attempts to rebuild Eon's Machine, I AM STILL WINNING!" He then laughed again and took a bite of his turkey leg before choking and falling off his portal.
"Now is everything alright?" Glumshanks asked as Meowsmerosis was leaving.
"Heimlich." Kaos said. When Meowsmerosis closed the door, he was really mad.
"EVIL DOES NOT LAUGH AT FAILURE!!!!" He yelled as Captain Kraken and Tony Thunder entered and a troll brought them lunch. "Did Hektor laugh at failure? Or the Golden Queen? I don't think so. But a temporary set back, maybe." the three of them then removed the cover revealing their meals as he spoke to his comrades. "Ahem, the pirates have failed and Failure is unacceptable! If they show their faces again, you know what to do Captain."
"Aye, I'll hang em by their nose hairs and rip their toenails clean off!" Captain Kraken, much to Meowsmerosis' irritation.
"This can't be happening." He said before spelling it out. "I WANT THEM ELIMINATED!"
"Hey, chill man." Tony Thunder said making Meowsmerosis more irritated. "The boss wasn't kidding about the darkness spreading so maybe we can look at the glass as half-full." Meowsmerosis then threw a roll at Tony Thunder, hitting him on the head. "OW! what I say!"
"Aw, so Kaos is putting a happy face on things, I see." He said. "What an interesting philosophy. At what point did he forget WE'RE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD?!"
Thunderstorm boomed as he spoke. "The clock is ticking and our margin for error is slight, so now, you will send in General Grindstone." He then took a sip of his drink. Back at the ruins, Hugo was admiring the progress he and our heroes had made.
"Excellent!" he said. "The Eternal Water Source is once again part of the Core of Light! But the darkness will continue to spread until we have all the Eternal Sources." Just then they saw a gate open up. "Now THAT was unexpected! Hmm. I need to do a little research to find where you must go next, but in the meantime, why don't you investigate the beach down there. I've been hearing strange noises coming from there for a while."
"Okay Hugo, maybe some of our friends are their looking for us." Sunset said. Our heroes then went to the beach to look around. Sunset was searching the sand on her hands and knees when soon sees a large metal object and examines it. As she stands up, she soon discovered something amazing. "Why, it's a machine! A machine on the beach." Everyone else comes up to look at it, and it tried to speak.
"Oil can.....Oil can...." The machine said.
"Did you say something?" Sunset asked.
"Oil can...." The machine repeated.
"Oil can what?" Zap said.
"Oil can? Oh -- oh, I know what he's talking about. I'll be right back" Fluttershy said before heading off, only to return with the can of oil from the oil donkey. She then oiled up the machine, who started moving right away.
"GOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING SKYLANDS!" The machine said. "Whew, thanks for the oil-up! I've been stuck in that position for ages!"
"Your welcome." Fluttershy said as she continued to oil the machine up.
"Ooooph." He said. "That feels good. Hey, I owe you, big time." He thought for a moment then had an idea. "I know! I can make you guys rich!"
"You can?" Sunset asked
"Yeah!" The machine answered before explaining. "See, I'm a Clam-Tron 4000. Just find me some clams and I'll mash them all up into a big fat Pearl! How's that?"
"Well, it would be a good gift to Rarity, as long as it's not an alternate version of our friend Pearl from Beach City." Sunset said. Our heroes then went to find some clams. Then they give it to the Clam-Tron, who inserts them inside himself.
"As promised, one new gleaming white pearl coming right up!" Clam-Tron said. "A little more pressure, add some heat, and now just shift it around with a touch of elbow grease and... PRESTO!" But our heroes soon find that the pearl is black. What? A shiny new BLACK pearl? Oh no.... what happend? What did I do to me? Unh... I've lost my gift." At that moment, a rather dapper gentlemen approached.
"But, black pearls are far more valueable in today's market." He said "The name is Auric by the way. Here, let me take a look." He looked at it and got scared instantly. "Ah, it's... uh... not a pearl.... I, uh.. BIG! FUSE! GO BOOM!" Everyone was confused
"I don't understand - what are you talking about?" Clam-Tron asked.
"YOU MADE A BOMB!!!" Auric yelled
"A BOMB?!?!?!" Everyone asked in shock. Just then, Hugo showed up.
"Good news!" he said. "I found another piece to the great machine! The Cyclopses have stolen the Crystal Eye. Figures! They always wanted it for their own. They even named their castle after it. But the bad news it that they've sealed off the bridge entrance that use to unite the temple to their kingdom. Looks like we're going to have to find another... Wait... Is that a bomb? Where in Skylands did we get a bomb?"
"I made it myself!" Clam-Tron said.
"Really?" Hugo asked before getting an idea. "Well, that might be just what we need. A bomb could possibly open up the entrance to the tunnel. Or blow us all up in the process, but hopefully the former."
"All right then." Clam-Tron said "Just come back anytime you need another one. Apparently I can make these things all day long."
"Well, let's give it a shot." Sunset said before grabbing the bomb. She soon approached the wall, but then she saw her geode glow and wondered if her friends are on the other side, so she gave a heads up before lighting it. "If anyone is on the other side of this wall, you might want to stand clear of it." She then placed the bomb near the wall, lit it, and ran before it exploded, revealing Rainbow Dash, Casey Jones, and a mole like creature wearing goggles.
"WOW!" The mole creature said. "Thanks for breaking down the barrier!"
"SUNSET!!" Rainbow and Casey said before they ran to her and the others.
"RAINBOW DASH! CASEY!" Sunset said before she and the others ran to Rainbow and Casey.
"What happened to you two?" Karai asked.
"When we got separated, we wound on a trail where we met Diggs here." Casey said.
"Oh dear." Diggs said. "Oh thank goodness you aren't Cyclopses. Wait you aren't Cyclopses, are you? I sure hope not because I just escaped from their terrible Crystal Eye Castle."
"Doesn't look like he sees too well, does he?" Hugo asked.
"Not really." Casey said.
"Oh, I saw some terrible things in that place. Or at least, I think I did. They have a giant crystal orb that focuses energy. I fear they'll use it for evil. That seems to be their thing, you know. Evil and not bathing. Phew."
"That's it!" Hugo said in excitement. "That's the Crystal Eye that we need to rebuild the Core! That is where you must go! Recover that orb and bring it back to the ruins! Of course, the downside is that you will inevitably have to battle the Cyclops, so be careful."
"Casey Jones is all about 'careful.'" Casey said.
"YEAH!" Diggs said. "AND HOLD YOUR NOSE! Meanwhile I can take you there, no worries. I may be a little nearsighted, but since there's only one bridge leading to their castle, it should be a... a... a..."
"A SNAP?" everyone asked.
"Yeah, that's right." Diggs said. "So, you guys ready to go to the Crystal Eye Castle?"
"Yeah, let's go." Sunset said
"RIGHT!" Diggs said. "Let's go!!" He then started walking but Hugo stopped him.
"Ahem... Other way." Hugo said.
"Ah, of course it is." Diggs said before leading our heroes off. "I must say I'm not looking forward to seeing those Cyclopses again - but at least I won't see them too clearly. Heh heh."
Our heroes soon arrive at the Crystal Eye Castle, where the Cyclopses keep the Crystal Eye locked up.
"Before I escaped, I was at the top of the castle..." Diggs said "It was there that I saw something that made my normally blurry vision suddenly super clear. It must have been the Crystal Eye!"
"If your right, then how are we going to get it?" Fluttershy asked.
"To get up there, you'll need to destroy the 2 Seeing Towers in order to open the big gate!" Diggs said before hitting the eye switch to open the gate infront of them. Just then he remembered something. "Oh yes!" He said "One more thing! And this one is VERY important! Once you get past the gate --" Just then a rolling barrel exploded a sending him flying, making everyone nervous. "I'M OKAY!!"
"Okay guys, lets go!" Sunset said before he and the others went off to find Crystal Eye! Along the way, our heroes asked Zap and Wham-Shell how they became Skylanders.
"I'll go first." Zap said as a flashback showed Zap living in a palace. "Born into a royal family of water dragons, I was well known at court as a show-off swimmer and all-round mischief maker." The scene changed to show zap being washed away by the tide. "But one afternoon, I found himself quite literally in deep water. A riptide had sucked him out into open ocean and beyond, to faraway shores." We then see said meet ing a school of eels. "Soon, I found himself surrounded by something slippery and shocking. A school of electricl eels was swimming around him, spitting out sparks and sizzles." We then see Zap getting shocked by the eels, and then being raised by them. "I held out a wet foot to say 'hello' when... YEEOWWW! Well, his mother had warned him electricity and water don't mix. The electric eels felt sorry for me and decided to raise me as one of their own." Then we see Zap working on a gadget. "To fit in, I even built myself an electric harness with an endless charge. Now, I can hurl a white-hot electric bolt length of ten sheep fields." Finally, we see Zap being a swimming champion and Eon asking him to join. "I continued as a champ in the water and often left dolphins buzzing in his electrical wake. News of my swimming exploits soon reached the ears of Master Eon, who immediately signed me up."
"Wow, you were a swimming champion?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yep." Zap said.
"That's nothing, you should hear my story." Wham-Shell said as another flashback showed Wham-Shell also living in a palace with his father. "Skylands sea shanties tell of a crustacean king called Roland, my father, who ruled over beautiful bubble buildings and priceless pearl pastures. Good King Roland had ruled peacefully throughout his reign, but tragedy was about to strike." We then see trolls attacking the kingdom. "The trolls had arrived. They began by building rigs and platforms to pump oil from the ocean bottom. Soon, they became even greedier and sent their submarines to invade this undersea realm." We then see Wham-Shell attacking back. "I, Roland's son, was sent into a spluttering rage. I collected the magical mace of the giant clam kings and swam to the surface to shatter the trolls' equipment into a million smithereens." We then see Eon asking Wham-Shell to be a Skylander. "My successful skirmish soon reached the ears of Master Eon. Right there and then, he made me, the crafty crustacean, a Skylander and king protector of all the seas."
"That is super dope." Casey Jones said.
"Indeed." Wham-Shell said. Soon our heroes reach the room where Crystal Eye is kept. They had to fight some nasty bad guys, but they soon were walking out with the Crystal Eye, where they met Diggs who caught up with them.
"Wow!" Diggs said. "Amazing. Suddenly everything is so much clearer. Let's get it back to the Ruins and add it to the machine." Our heroes then went off unaware that another hooded figure wearing granite boots.
"All is going according to my stratagy." The hooded figure said. Our heroes soon arrive to the sound of Eon's voice.
"Well done!" He said. "You have brought the Crystal Eye." The Crystal Eye then placed itself on top of the Twin Spouts of Ocea-Major-Minor. meanwhile, deep underground, a crystal rose up from the lava and was held by metal arms. Our heroes soon admired their progress.
"Thank You!" Hugo said. "Now we must get the Eternal Earth Source. "The villagers in Stonetown have recovered it and are keeping it safe until we arrive."
"WHOO-HOO" Flynn said. "YEAH! Finally an easy one! What did I tell ya! CAKE!"
"Sure." Hugo said. "EXCEPT for General Grindstone, one of Kaos' Elemental Elites AND the foul smelling Cyclopses, BOTH looking for the very thing were after."
"Oh." Flynn said. "Yeah, well, heh. I guess if you count those..."
"I'm sure Diggs knows the way." Hugo said "We should ask him." They then met Diggs who indeed new the way to Stonetown.
"Say, how about a visit to Stonetown?" Diggs asked.
"You bet!" Rainbow Dash said. "Let's go!"
"Okay it's digging time!" Diggs said. "But first we'll need to cross the Stone Bridge before we start." He then started for Stonetown. "Follow me! er, just tell me when we get there, okay?"
Our heroes soon arrive at Stonetown, where the Eternal Earth Source is being kept safe and sound.
"Alright." Diggs said. "This is as far as I can take you. Stonetown is just beyond this Cyclops outpost. But the ground is shaking something terrible. All these vibrations... I sense something is very wrong here!"
"I'll go ahead and see if Stonetown is okay." Rainbow Dash said before heading off. She soon saw that Stonetown in a panic. A citizen then bumped into Rainbow Dash. "Hey what's going on?"
"HELP!" the Mabu screamed and pointed to a large golem. "It's the Eternal Earth Source! General Grindstone has turned it into a hideous, horrific, terrible monster!"
"Great." Rainbow Dash said sarcastically. "That's all we need. Don't worry, I get my friends and we'll be right back."
"Okay." The mabu said before Rainbow Dash went back to the others and informed them of what's happening. They then went off to stop the golem. Along the way Slam Bam decided to tell his Skylanders origin story.
"It all started a long time ago." He said as a flashback showed him living a nice life. "I once lived a blissful, solitary life on a floating glacier. There, i surfed the snowy slopes, studied ice sculptures and slurped my way through several squillion sensational snow cones, but an evil eye looked upon his every move." We then see Kaos spying on Slam Bam. "Kaos watched jealously for a glimpse of the secret ingredient that made my snow cones so sweet." Next, we see Kaos try do destroy the glacier. "When that didn't work, Kaos had the glacier destroyed. Little did Kaos know that it was a simple peppermint twist that gave the cones their extra kick. If only he'd thought of asking." Finally, we see Slam Bam meeting Master Eon. "Now homeless, I drifted on a small floating iceberg. After several days, I hit land, which luckily happened to be Master Eon's island. One serious conversation and several snow cones later, Eon suggested I to become a Skylander. So I did."
"Wow, I bet Pinkie would like some of these peppermint twist snow cones." Rainbow Dash said.
"I can make one for her if we find her." Slam Bam said.
"That would be great." Sunset said. Our heroes soon find the golem monster. "Okay let's get the Eternal Earth Source out of here." Just then the hooded figure from the Crystal Eye Castle threw a boulder at our heroes, who dodged it in time. He then jumped down and revealed himself to be made entirely of stone, wearing an army uniform made of granite.
"KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY SUPERIOR OFFICER'S PROPERTY!" The angry stone man yelled. "I'M GENERAL GRINDSTONE AND YOU ARE GOING TO BE COURT MARSHALLED!"
"Man, this guy is loud." Rainbow Dash said, much to the general's annoyance.
"DON'T TALK BEHIND A GENERAL'S BACK LIKE THAT!" General Grindstone said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the earth symbol on them. "I'LL FIX THAT ATTITUDE PROBLEM OF YOURS!" He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before. The first one of them is an earth dragon with a mace-like tail, the second is a dinosaur with boomerangs, and the third was a smaller golem with crystals for hands.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Bash, Dino-Rang, and Prism Break." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it and stop the stone monster. You guys deal with General Grindstone."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Casey Jones then prepared to fight General Grindstone.
"IF THAT'S HOW YOUR GOING TO BE, THEN THIS MEANS WAR!" General Grindstone said as they fought. Just them, Mabu started singing about how bad war is.

Spyro and the others got the Eternal Earth Source out of the monster and free Bash, Dino-Rang, and Prism Break, who passed out while the others and Spike watched our girls fight General Grindstone.

As the song ended, General Grindstone soon found himself surrounded. "YOU WON THIS TIME, BUT YOU'LL MEET YOUR MAKER SOON!" He said before taking his leave. Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
Uhhh, Spyro, Is that you?" Bash asked focusing his eyes.
"Where have you guys been?" Dino-Rang asked looking around.
"And where did you find this guys?" Prism Break asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Earth Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." everyone soon grabbed the Eternal Earth Source, which soon formed a flying boulder that carried our heroes out of Stonetown, and past Diggs, who was being carried by a smaller boulder.
"Eh?" Diggs asked. "What's going on?"
"We'll explain later." Spyro said before our heroes arrived to the ruins. They soon hear Eon's voice again from beyond.
"You have brought the Eternal Earth Source!" He said "The eye within the eye. The very foundation of all Skylands." The Eternal Earth Source inserted it's self into the Crystal Eye. Meanwhile deep underground, the crytsal began to light up as a machine pushed the Crystal Eye even higher, causing it to point up and fire a beam from the crystal underground. Meanwhile in Kaos' fortress, Meowsmerosis and the other Elemantal Elites discussed their next move.
"Arrr, First Tony Thunder, then me, and now General Grindstone here to." Captian Kraken said. "These landlubbers are playing dirty."
"Yeah, uhh, well we'll just have play dirtier, huh?" Tony Thunder said.
"JUST GIVE ME ANOTHER SHOT, AND I'LL HAVE THEM RUNNING FOR THE HILLS!" General Grindstone yelled.
"ENOUGH!" Meowsmerosis said. "You each had your turn to play the game, now we must let the others in as well. Send in Baron Von Bramble." Meanwhile back at the ruins, our heroes soon notice a large flower growing as it bloomed, it revealed Donatello, Rarity and a strange plant-like creature on the blossom.
"SUNSET!!" Rarity and Donnie said before they ran to Sunset and the others.
"RARITY! DONNIE!" Sunset said before she and the others ran to Rainbow and Casey.
"What happened to you two?" Karai asked.
"When we got separated, we wound up underground where we met this guy." Donnie said.
"Aahhhh!" plant man said. "Sunlight feels so good on my leaves! And the water! So delicious! And the earth is just right! Thank you for reviving me! I am Arbo, son of Barbo, child of Larbo, spawn of-"
"Ah, It talks! It talks!" Hugo said before regaining himself. "Where are my manners? I am Hugo and these are the Skylanders. Master Eon has vanished, but are slowly getting our heroes back. Can you help us!"
"I'm not sure." Arbo said. "I'm only 8 seconds old after all, but somehow, I seem to have memories of all this happening before."
"You do?" Sunset asked.
"Yes." Arbo said. "We need to recover the Eternal Life Source, but in order to find it we must first gather the Seeds of Life and plant them so their roots can point the way."
"That's correct!" Hugo said, astonished by Arbo's logic. "How did you know that?"
"I can do something like this..." Arbo said before making a beanstalk grow into the sky, putting a look of shock in Donnie's face. "and I don't even know how I'm doing it! It's like a memory."
"What do you think Hugo?" Sunset asked.
"It looks like it leads to Treetop Terrace!" Hugo said.
"Is that what you people call it?" Arbo asked. "We green folk know it as the Tree of Life. That is where you will find the Life Seeds. I know the way. I think I have always known the way. I can take you their if you wish."
"Okay Arbo, lead the way." Sunset said as everyone got on a leaf.
"Then follow me, and if you look down, you can see everything!" Arbo said as he lifted our heroes on the leaf all the way to the top like an elevator.
Our heroes soon arrive at Treetop Terrace, or the Tree of Life.
"It feels good to be in the Tree of Life." Arbo said. "I can tell these things. But what happened to the Life Seeds? They are the children of the great trees." Arbo was for a moment and then spoke again. "The trees me tell the pointy ears are keeping the seeds for themselves! This is not Nature's wish. We must get the Life Seeds in order to find the Eternal Life Source!"
"Don't worry." Sunset said. "We'll find them." Our heroes then went off to find the Life Seeds. Along the way Dino-Rang and Bash decided to tell the stories about how they became Skylanders.
"I'll go first." Bash said as a flashback showed him being hatched from an egg. From an early age there was something that set me apart. I was a dragon without wings! But I wasn't content to sit around feeling sorry for himself." We then see Bash roll up into a ball. "I would curl up into a tight ball and make a terrific take-off. My speed as I careered across the plains was something to behold - and the more he rolled, the rougher and tougher his skin became." The scene then changed to show Bash's dragon friends being rounded up. "Then the dark day came. A huge flying machine was catching my dragon friends in massive nets. Fired up with fury, I curled up and chased it to the very edge of my floating island." We then see Bash destroy the flying machines. "There, I launched myself like a bouncing bomb and busted through the side of the airship, creating a colossal hole for my friends to escape through." We then see Master Eon talk to Bash "Having witnessed the entire event through his portal, Master Eon was blown away by my courage and loyalty and made my a Skylander on the spot."
"My, that is quite a tale." Rarity said.
"Heh, you should hear my tale, mate." Dino-Rang said as another flashback showed him with his tribe. "I came from a tribe of skilled hunting dinosaurs from a faraway world. There, I had been the first to twirl the legendary twin boomerangs and was top of my tribe." We then see Dino-Rang being sucked through a portal, then waking up surrounded by wizards. "But my fortunes changed one night when a portal popped open beneath my bed and sucked me into a strange Skylands temple. I was surrounded by sinister wizards, whose spell had gone askew." The scene changed to show Dino-Rang dealing with the wizards. "I broke out my boomerangs and, before the wizards could say 'boo' (or even 'bo'), they were blasted to the remote Outlands." We finally see Master Eon talk to Dino-Rang. "Threat averted, I began searching for the fabled Twin Diamond Boomerangs which I hoped could take me home. I am yet to find them, but I did find Master Eon - who promptly made me a Skylander."
"Now that is quite a tale." Donnie said. Our heroes soon found the Life Seeds, where Arbo suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
"HAHAHAHA, you've done it, Great-Legends-of-Skylands-Come-To-Life!" Arbo said in joy, much to the shock of everyone. "You found the Life Seeds and nature rejoiced! We shall spread them to the Core of Light and watch them grow!"
"Okay guys, let's go." Sunset said as she and the rest of our heroes went off, unaware that a hooded man with vines creeping along his arms was following them.
"Excellent." The hooded figure said. Back at the ruins, our heroes planted the Life Seeds, which grew into apple bushes. But it has drawn the attention of the sheep, who escaped their pen.
"Shoo shoo shoo land creature!" Arbo said in frustration. "Have you no respect for the sacred life seeds?"
"See!" Hugo said "I've been saying those sheep are evil. Evil I tell you!"
"So what's up?" Rainbow Dash said as she came up.
"These seeds we brought back have grown into these wonderful apple bushes." Arbo said. "SHOO!!!! But these sheep are eating all the apples. Could you keep the sheep away long enough for the apples to grow? Then the roots will be strong enough to speak to me."
"No problem." Rainbow Dash said before rounding up the sheep and putting them back into their pen. Before long, Arbo soon received a message from the roots.
"Splendid!" Arbo said. "The Eternal Life Source is hidden inside a giant ACORN within the Tree of Life. I know where to find because the seeds tell me things." Suddenly he felt different. "Woa, I feel strange now. The forest is in danger. We should go quickly. Are you ready to go quickly now?"
"Yes let's go." Sunset said. Our heroes soon got on the leaf and went up the beanstalk. Meanwhile in Kaos' fortress Meowsmerosis informed Kaos of what he has learned.
"AN ACORN?" Kaos asked
"That's what Baron Von Bramble heard from our enemies." Meowsmerosis said.
"I KNEW IT!" Kaos said "CURSED MISERABLE DECEITFUL TREES! THEIR HIDING MY ACORN!"
"You have acorns?" Glumshanks asked.
"Nonsense fool." Kaos said. "It's simple. The Eternal Life Source is actually a giant acorn, SEE! And it's being hidden in a filthy forest by a band of despicable bark covered betrayers who are OBVIOUSLY out to get me."
"The trees?" Glumshanks asked.
"OF COURSE THE TREES!" Kaos said "WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M TALKING ABOUT! Ooh how I hate them, standing there all day, looking so innocent, soaking up sunlight, plotting and scheming, just waiting to meddle in my PLANS! Well not this time Glumshanks. NOT! THIS! TIME! CALL OUT MY LUMBERJACK TROLLS!"
"I've already sent Baron Von Bramble to lead the charge." Meowsmerosis said
"For what?" Glumshanks asked. "To cut down a few trees."
"No not a few trees you noob." Kaos answered sarcastically. "CUT THEM ALL DOWN! I WANT THAT ACORN!"
Our heroes soon return to the Tree of Life to find in horror that the Trolls are cutting the trees down.
"Those terrible trolls are attacking the Great Ancients with TEETH-MACHINES!" Arbo said in shock. "Oh, this is the most horrible feeling I have had in my brief existence so far. We must stop them from cutting any more down - OR discovering the Eternal Life Source!"
"Don't worry Arbo." Sunset said with confidence. "We'll stop them." Our heroes then went off to save the forest and the Eternal Life Source. Along the way, Prism Break tells his story about how he became a Skylander.
"It was quite a long time ago." Prism break said as a flashback showed him living in underground. "I was a fearsome Rock Golem who inhabited dark, dangerous places deep underground." The scene changes to show Miners looking for jewels only to leave with bruises. "But embedded in the rocky walls of my home was a dragon's hoard of gems, jewels and sparkly stones that no miner could resist. Few returned unscathed. Those that could still speak told of trashed tools and mangled machinery - not to mention the blood-curdling cries and ghastly growls that rang out from the dark depths. A nice place for a relaxing breaking this was not." We them see Prism Break taking a long nap. "Eventually there were no miners left who would brave these perilous passageways. Finally able to rest without interruption, I retired to his favorite cavern and sank into a silent slumber. I slept through some important events - including the roof collapsing over me." Next, we see Prism Break waking up again. "Over 100 years later, I was rudely roused by a new generation of Mabu miners. One of them had pick-axed him in a place I'd rather not mention." Finally we see Prism Break as he is now and deciding to use his new powers for good. "But instead of munching the Mabu and using the pickaxes for toothpicks, I found himself transformed. My arms had turned from rocks into powerful gems that fired pure bolts of energy. Feeling much improved, I decided to be a force for good instead of grumpiness. So I joined the Skylanders."
"Well, if you ask me you look radiant darling." Rarity said.
"Aww, thanks." Prism Break said. Our heroes soon chased off the trolls and found The Eternal Life Source. Just then, coming from out of the shadows up high in a tree, our heroes saw a sinister looking fellow in a bright green uniform and the face of a Venus Fly Trap with a monocle. He called up a vine to hop on and lowered it down to our heroes.
"Greeting, interlopers." The figure said. "I am Baron Von Bramble, one of Führer Kaos' Elemental Elites, and I am here for The Eternal Life Source."
"How did you know where it was to begin with?" Casey said.
"After you recovered the Life Seeds, I followed you to your little hideout and waited until you acquired information about The Eternal Life Source." Baron Von Bramble said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the life symbol on them. "And so, as thanks, I'll make your ends swift and painless." He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before The first one of them is a walking bamboo plant, the second is a plant dragon hybrid, and the third was a tree like creature with hammers for hands.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Zook, Camo, and Stump Smash." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it. You guys deal with Baron Von Bramble."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Casey Jones, Rarity, and Donnie then prepared to fight Baron Von Bramble.
"Let my new puppets have Spyro and his lackeys." Baron Von Bramble said as he drew his sword. "YOUR LIVES ARE MINE TO TAKE!" During the fight marching band of trolls sang about Kaos' glorious empire.

Before long, Baron Von Bramble found himself surrounded and decided to take his leave. "You may have the Eternal Life Source, but let's see how it will help you against der Führer." Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro, what's up mon?" Zook asked focusing his eyes.
"Where are we?" Camo asked looking around.
"And where did these people come from?" Stump Smash asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Life Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." everyone soon grabbed the Eternal Life Source, which soon called the trees to carry our heroes and Arbo, who they passed on the way.
"AHAHAHAHA!" Arbo said. "Isn't the Eternal Life Source's power wonderful?"
"It sure is." Spyro said before our heroes arrived to the ruins. They soon hear Eon's voice again from beyond.
"I fear the Darkness is growing and the Core of Light is not yet complete, but now you bring Eternal Life Source, whose true power lies within." The Eternal Life Source then entered the machine which causes two large flowers to emerge above and vines to creep below. The flowers then released sweet smelling aromas that give the great machine a sweet smell. Meanwhile in Kaos' fortress the four Elemental Elites are talking about their douts about serving Kaos and Captain Kraken and General Grindstone discussing big plans on how to overthrow him.
"Arrr, I say we make him walk the plank!" Captain Kraken said.
"I SAY WE DRUM HIM OUT OF THE CORPS!" General Grindstone said.
"Patience my brothers." Baron Von Bramble said to the two squabbling villains. "We will need all of our allies if we are to decide on a plan."
"He's right." Meowsmerosis said. "For now let us bide our time and wait to overthrow him. Summon Doctor Mechanicus." Back at the ruins, everyone was admiring their progress.
"What a remarkable creation." Hugo said.
"We are all remarkable creations." Arbo added.
"Some more remarkable than others." Flynn said. "Like me. BOOM!"
"4 down, 4 to go." Hugo said. "We must find the other Eternal Sources before they fall into Kaos' hands." Just then our heroes soon saw something open up and what looked like an elevator rise revealing Applejack, Raphael, and a robot in a military uniform.
"SUNSET!!" Applejack and Raphael said before they ran to Sunset and the others.
"APPLEJACK! RAPH!" Sunset said before she and the others ran to Applejack and Raph.
"What happened to you two?" Karai asked.
"When we got separated, we met this guy in his base." Raph said.
"Situation report!" The robot said. "Who's in charge here?"
"In charge?" Flynn asked. "Why I'm in charge... of the ladies that is! Believe it..."
"Stow the flabber-jabber, son." The robot said. "I'm looking for the Skylanders."
"We'll you found them." Spyro said.
"Ah, Excellent!" The robot said. "I am General Robot, and we've got a flustercuff of a situation! It seems that Doctor Mechanicus and the Trolls are keeping something UNKNOWN in a heavily guarded Warehouse. Skylands Intel believes it's some sort of "gear" that may have originated from this here location."
"That's not just any gear!" Hugo said. "It's a Golden Gear. THE "Golden Gear." We need it to rebuild the Core of Light!"
"Hmm." General Robot said. "This is even more serious then I expected. You see - the enemy is crafty and has the advantage - uh- temporarily of course -And we do not at this time have the firepower to EVAC said gear to a safe location behind our lines to reconnoiter. We need your help soldier. Can I count on you?"
"Affermative, General!" Sunset said before saluting him.
"Then let's get a move on!" The General said before opening the hatch. Our heroes then jumped down the hatch which caused a cannon to come up. It took aim and shot our heroes to the Warehouse.
Our heroes land just outside of the troll warehouse where they met a mabu wearing a spy helmet.
"Name's Snuckles." He said. "That's right - Special Agent Snuckles. C'mon. The elevator into the Troll Warehouse is right this way." He then lead our heroes to the elevator and pulled the lever to take them to the troll warehouse. "Betcha you and Fugitoig don't recognize me, do ya Sunset?"
"No not really." Sunset said
"That's because I'm a master of disguise now." Snuckles said before explaining to the others who obviously don't know him. "Your friends and the Skylanders once saved us all when a tornado ripped through our village."
"You did?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yeah, the tornado was pretty big." Sunset said.
"And that's when I decided to join the Mabu Defense Force and become a real live secret agent. -AND this is my first mission. Can you believe it!? -Come one - let's go get that Golden Gear!"
"Okay, Special Agent Snuckles, lead the way." Sunset said.
"I think the warehouse is this way." Snuckles said, with a bit of fear. "Courage, Snuckles. Courage. There - that's the troll warehouse. Those stinky-bridge-dwellers keep all the junk the've stolen in there. I can see it! The Golden Gear! Go get it! I mean, LET's go get it That's right," He then went on ahead only step on a mine and be blasted back where he started. "Owie! Owie! Stingy! Wow - that hurt. I should just go home... No, wait. I need to fight."
"Are you okay?" Sunset asked.
"Aw, those tricky-trolls put in a minefield." Snuckles said. "But you know, I bet they'd never remember where they put all those mines... They've gotta have a map showing the way through it. -And we gotta find it."
"Okay, you stay here, and will get it." Sunset said as she and her friends went to find it. Along the way, Zook told The Rainbooms his Skylanders origin story.
"It was a long time ago mon." Zook said as a flashback showed him being praised by his people. "I am something of a folk hero among the Bambazooker forest folk. After centuries of standing still, I decided not to be a stick in the mud anymore. I simply lifted my leg and stepped forward. I then wandered the woods spreading the word - Bambazookers can move!" The scene changed to show an elves observing him "But nobody took much notice. The first time an outsider saw a Bambazooker was when I saved an elven mapping expedition. The elves were watching me and placing bets on the purpose of his bamboo tube (some said it was a telescope, while others mantained it was a didgeridoo). The elves were caught unawares when a mighty mountain troll stomped menacingly towards them." We then see Zook using his Bazooka for the first time to chase of the trolls. "Suddenly, I brought all betting to a close when I lifted the great tube to my shoulder. Out shot a shower of exploding thorns that sent the troll into a speedy retreat. 'Ahhhh, a bazooka!' the elves exclaimed. To this day, no other bambazooker has ever taken a single step. So, as the only mobile Bambazooker in history, I has a special place in the Skylanders squad."
"Hoowee, them trolls must have been really scared off." Applejack said.
"Hehehe, yeah mon, you could say dat." Zook said. Our heroes soon found the map, grabbed it, and brought it back to Snuckles.
"Great work!" Snuckles said. "Now we'll be able to make our way through the mine field. After you - er - you know, since you already have the map."
"Okay Snuckles." Sunset said before leading the way through the minefield. Before long, our heroes made it to the other side, where the Golden Gear is waiting for them.
"I'll carry it." Applejack said before lifting up the Golden Gear as if it were nothing. She carried it all the way back to the ruins where Eon's voice calls to them from beyond.
"The Golden Gear." Eon said. "Plucked from the machinery of the universe, the intricate clockwork of this world." The Golden Gear then inserted it's self into the machine, causing more gears to pop up within the vines. The machine them rose up showing more gears popping out of the sides. Needless to say, Kaos was not happy.
"MY GEAR!" He said. "DO you see that?! They've got my gear, my beautiful golden gear."
"Next, they'll be after your goo." Glumshanks said, making Kaos paranoid and angry.
"YOUR RIGHT!" He said grabbing a bottle of the stuff and splashing it all over the place as he spoke. "MY GOO! FIRST IT WAS MY GOLDEN GEAR, AND NOW THEY'RE AFTER MY GLOWING GREEN GOO! THAT TEARS IT! NO MORE MR.NICEGUY!"
"Umm, I wouldn't exactly call you nice." Glumshanks said.
"CALL OUT MY TROLL ARMY!" Kaos commanded as he spilled more goo. " LAUNCH AN ALL OUT ATTACK! THIS MEAN WAR!" some of the goo got on his head. Back at the ruins, General Robot, Donnie, and Fugitoid were admiring the Golden Gear.
"An impressive gear." Donnie said.
"I wouldn't mind upgrading my own equipment with one of those." General Robot said.
"What kind of grease does this thing take?" Fugitoid asked.
"The rarest kind." Hugo said. "Green Primordial Goo! But when the Core was destroyed, all the Green Goo drained out, and I haven't got a clue where to find more."
You know, recently, the Troll military had taken a massive leap forward in terms of it's technological capability, thanks to Doctor Mechanicus." General Robot said. "I'll bet this Green Goo business is behind it all."
"Oh no!" Hugo said in fear. "This is terrible! If the Trolls have discovered the secrets of the goo, their forces will be virtually unstoppable!"
"Our soldiers have been struggling to breach their main factory." General Robot said. "If this goo is what you say it is, then failure is not an option!" He then turned to Donnie and Fugitoid. "Donnatello, Fugitoid, we need you help! Can we count on you and your friends to shut down the Troll factories and recover the goo?"
"You bet, I'll get the others." Donnie said before rounding up everyone and explaining it before they jumped into the cannon.
"The Glowing Green Goo of Primordia!" General Robot said." That's what we're after soldiers! Make ups proud!" Our heroes were then shot our towards the Goo Factory.
Our heroes soon arrive at a war zone just outside of the Goo Factory, where they met Snuckles again.
"Alright!" Snuckles said "Your back. The Captain was really impressed with my first mission! - So here I am again! Here's the situation. We've been able to push forward to a position just outside the Troll Factories. The Captain took a squad up ahead, but that was hours ago! I have to stay behind and guard this position. You've got to go find them! He'll know what to do!"
"Okay, we'll find him." Sunset said before she and the others went off. They fought many Trolls, until they found the Captain who turned out to be Rizzo.
"Ho there Skylanders!" He said. "Feels good to be in the midst of all this action, doesn't it? I used to own a flower shop, but then I started the Mabu Defence Force and then appointed myself Captain... now I'm blowing stuff up! That's the life, I tell ya. Speaking of which... the main factories are just around this corner, but these turrets have us pinned down. Fortunately, our scout has reported a stockpile of MEGA BOMBS in the ammo dump at the top of the hill. You better check it out. Be careful though... the entrance is being guarded by heavy artillery!"
"We're on it!" Sunset said as our heroes went up. Along the way, Camo told his origin story.
"My life is pretty wild." Camo said as a flashback shows him growing out of the ground. "I was born by the roots of the Tree of Life, and so possesses the amazing ability to speedily cultivate fruit and vegetables that explode when they are ripe (creating both an everyday eating hazard and a hilarious dinner-party prank)." We then see Master Eon get one of these pranks. "Master Eon found himself at the butt end of this juicy-fruit joke when he visited Camo's idyllic island. While out for a stroll, Eon spotted a perfect melon waiting to be picked. But as he bent over the scrumptious speciment, it exploded, splattering the Portal Master's robe and alarmed old face." We then see him seeing Camo for the first time. "As he wiped away the sticky seeds, Eon noticed a pair of prying eyes nearby, clearly enjoying the scene. Eventually, I stepped forward and introduced myself. Eon soon invited me to be a Skylander - and, on my days off, the Portal Master's personal gardener."
"Wow, I bet he liked having you around." Sunset said.
"Oh he did, but not as much as he loved you." Camo said making Sunset smile a bit. Before long they found the artillery entrance and the scout, who happens to be Nort.
"Well color me tickled pink! It's the Skylanders and the Portal Masters who saved our town! The Captain sent me to scout ahead. Look, it's too dangerous to attack the wall straight on - but as luck would have it, I've found another way in. Follow me!" He led our heroes to an ammo dump. "That ammo dump is just past here. And if you can find a handy dandy MEGA BOMB, this wall can go KABLOOEY!" Our heroes agreed and went to find a MEGA BOMB, and after finding one, rolled it back to the wall, which was destroyed instantly. "Great Mabu's Ghost!" Nort said after watching that. "What a blast! Haahhahhahhah! Now if we can find just one more bomb and roll it back to the Captain, we can go right on through to the factories!"
"Okay, we're on it." Applejack said as she lifted the MEGA BOMB and carried it back to the enterance to the factories and throwing it at the wall, causing it to explode.
"KABOOM!" Rizzo said. "What an explosion! Now it's time to take the fight to THEM! There are 3 Goo Factories. Raise the Flags at each one to signal their capture. Then we can secure the goo! Good luck soldier!"
"Sir, yes sir!" Sunset said as they went to do their job. When they finished, they secured all the factories in record time.
"Thank you, everyone." Rizzo said. "We'vs secured the factories, but the trolls are certain to retaliate. Let's hurry up and get this goo back to the General. He'll be expecting it." They went in to get the goo, unaware that a hooded figure with metal arms was watching them from the shadows.
"Hahahaha!" He laughed. "All according to plan." Soon our heroes got the goo back to the ruins to the sound of Eon's voice.
"The Green Goo of Primodia." He said "Made from the fossils of past prehistoric explodasaurs, it pulses with unimaginable power." The goo then entered the machine and inserted itself into the vines.
"Glowing Green Goo acquired!" Hugo said. "Now we need the Eternal Tech Source." He then turned to the General. "I don't suppose your millitary intelligence has found out where it is?"
"Don't insult me, son." He said. "Of course we have! Intel says that Doctor Mechanicus has the Enternal Tech Source hidden in his base. Unfortunately, they've already been using it to develop a slew of new weapons! That's why I'm coming along for support. Are you ready, Soldier?"
"Sir, yes sir!" Everyone said as they went off to jump into the cannon so they can go to the Battlefield.
Our heroes soon arrived at the Battlefield were they met Snuckles.
"Oh thank goodness you're here." Snuckles said. "I was just about to... Never mind. I'm not panicking. Well - kinda, but not really now that you're here. Come on, Snuckles. YOU can do this!! Okay, the Trolls have overrun our defenses and our Command Team has been cut off! We have to get to them, but we don't have much time!"
"We're on it!" Sunset said as she and the others went off to find the Command Team. Along the way, Stump Smash told his origin story to the Ninjas and the Rainbooms.
"It happened some time ago." Stump Smash said as a flashback showed him as a magic tree. "I was once a magical tree in an ancient glade of wondrous woodland." We then see him wake up to see the forest gone. "But one day, I awoke to a bark-bristling sight. Every tree, shrub and sapling around me had been cut down and hauled away. Holding up in my branches in horror, I realized that I too had been 'logged'. All that was left were two wooden stumps in the shape of mallets." The scene then changes to show him becoming what he is now. "With a resounding roar, I uprooted myself and stomped toward the gaggle of lumberjack trolls responsible. I brought together my mallet hands, and WHACK! The terrified trolls ran screaming for their pointy-nosed googly-eyed lives. Even Master Eon heard the racket and set off to investigate. And, after learning my sad story, he brought me on board at once."
"That must have been awful." Fluttershy said to Stump Smash, who was a bit sad.
"It was." He said. "But I got some new friends to help me out." Soon Our heroes met Rizzo once again.
"Ho there Skylanders!" He said. "You guys got here just in time! We need to get past their barriers, but we aren't having any luck. The good news is we've captured a troll stockpile - and there's a Mega Bomb in it! HA! Good for our side! Bad news is - it's too heavy for any of us to move. Me included. Too many years spent planting flowers I suppose. Looks like a job for you guys!"
"Ah'm on it." Applejack said as she went to get the Mega Bomb and throws it right at the barrier causing it to explode.
"OUTSTANDING!" Rizzo said "Now get in there and... OH NO! LOOK!" He pointed to the hooded figure from the Goo Factory who revealed himself to be a scientist with a mechanical body made of gears and joints.
"Greetings meddlesome strangers!" He said to our heroes. "I am Mechanicus, the greatest of the great Skylands geniuses. To make a long story short, I'm going to destroy you once and for all. BEHOLD!" He then pointed to a tank the likes of which have never been seen, nor ever will be seen again.
"W-w-w-what's that?" Fluttershy said in fear.
"IT'S THERE SECRET WEAPON!" Rizzo answered. "Doctor Mechanicus and the trolls must be using the Eternal Tech source to power that thing! You guys gotta destroy it! Then you can "liberate" the Source yourself! Thumbs up!"
"Your more then welcome to try." Doctor Mechanicus said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the tech symbol on them. "But some of you will have to deal with these three!." He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before. The first one of them is a troll with dynamite, the second is a robotic dragon, and the third was a train-like, drilling machine.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Boomer, Drobot, and Drill Sergeant." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it. You guys deal with Doctor Mechanicus and get the Eternal Tech Source out of his secret weapon."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Casey Jones, Rarity, Donnie, Applejack, and Raph then prepared to fight Doctor Mechanicus in order to get the Eternal Tech Source.
"Ohohohohoho!" Doctor Mechanicus laughed. "This will be very amusing!" He then pulled a list out and started writing. "Destroy meddling heroes." During the fight, a fairy conjured up a stage and got up it to play music for the battle.

With the super tank destroyed, the Eternal Tech Source exited itself from the machine. Just then, a small door open on the smoking hull of the wrecked machine, and a large, gold, metal larva shaped pod shoots out. It sprouts green and black wings, and Mechanicus is seen in the drivers’ seat.
"You puny-minded fools thought you could stop Machanicles!" He said as he shakes fist "Ha ha, it is to laugh! I’ll be back and I’ll have my revenge on you, Skylanders!" The entire group looks at him as he flies off. Machanicles pulls out a scroll and begins to write. "Get revenge on Skylanders." he then swipes a finger on the escape pod and comes back with oil "Clean escape pod's wing." Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro, what's up man?" Boomer asked focusing his eyes.
"And from where did these lifeforms originate?" Drill Sergeant asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Tech Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." everyone soon grabbed the Eternal Tech Source, which soon turned into a rocket that blasted our heroes off toward the ruins with a Mabu Defense Force saluting them. When they arrived, they soon hear Eon's voice again from beyond.
"The Eternal Tech Source." He said. "embodiment of all science and reason, it balances magic into the Core of Light." As soon as our heroes got off, it turned into an orb that orbits the Core of Light. Meanwhile, deep underground, The Green Goo starts glowing and the Golden Gears start turning, and the foundation of the machine starts rotating. Meanwhile, Kaos was watching all of this from his portal with his followers and a calm look on his face.
"You know gentlemen, despite your colossal failures, excemplified by you mutton-headingly losing the the Eternal Tech Source, I am feeling particuarly optimistic." He said. "And does anyone know why?"
"No." Everyone said as Glumshanks noticed a fly buzzing around.
"Because," Kaos began. "The Darkness is becoming even more powerful. It's spreading all over Skylands. Soon no one will be able to stop it. HAHAHAHAHA!"
"Uh-huh." Everyone said as Glumshanks saw the fly land on Kaos' head.
"You know what they say." Kaos added. "Red skys in the morning, Skylanders take warning."
"Hmmm, no one actually says that." Glumshanks said as he rose a stone slab to hit the fly.
"Oh I'm sure someone says something like that." Meowsmerosis said before turning to his allies to whisper his orders. "And I'll soon be saying it very soon. Summon Count Necropolis." Meanwhile, the fly soon flew off and went inside Kaos' mouth as he was laughing, causing him to choke.
"I swallowed a bug." Kaos said. Back at the ruins General Robot was congradulating everyone for their good work.
"Su-PERB job, Soldiers!" He said to our heroes "You've done Skylands proud!" Suddenly they all heard that old door with the skull on it open up and ghostly voices calling out from inside. This changed General Robots personallity greatly. "I may be a great General, but when it comes to the supernatural, I am O - U - DOUBLE T - OUT! This is my last HU-rah! Good luck with the war soldiers!" He then retreated to who knows where.
"The General might have the right idea." Hugo said. "On the other hand, the spitits of the Undead don't cross over unless they are severely disturbed. Perhaps you guys should investigate. That noise is coming from the beach."
"We're on it." Sunset said as she and her team travel to the beach and to the big door where they heard the voices calling out again.
"RAAAAAAAAAAPH!" One of them said.
RAAAAAAAAAAINBOW DAAAAAAAAAAASH!" The other said.
"Hey I know those voices." Raph said peeking in.
"Yeah, me too." Rainbow Dash said joining him. Just then A skull popped out with Pinkie Pie and Mikey.
"BOOO!!!" The three yelled, causing a scared Raph and Rainbow Dash to jump into the arms of Fluttershy who just had a look of shock on her face, to scared to move. The look on Raph and Rainbow Dash's faces cause the three of them to laugh. "HA ha!"
"Uh, in case you weren't hip to it that's how skeletons say hello!" Mikey said to Raph who was suddenly mad when he got to his feet followed by Rainbow Dash.
"Do that to me again and I'll teach you how my fist say goodbye!" He said. Mikey and Pinkie Pie just hugged him and Rainbow Dash.
"It's good to see you guys too." Pinkie said. Raph soon regained his cool
"Well it figures if you didn't get it." The skull said. "See, I'm not much of a skeleton. Seem to be missing a bone or 2 or 204 more like. HA! Anyway, can't seem to find my body right now. Heh, Embarrassin', I know."
"Oh sorry, we forgot to introduce you guys." Mikey said as he picks up the skull.
"This it T-Bone!" Pinkie finished. She then pointed to the large door. "When we got seperated, we wound up in there where we met him."
"Heard you guys making a ruckus up here." T-Bone said. "Loud enough to wake the Undead HA! Little afterlife humor there." But noone was laughing. "Wow. Tough room. And you think I'M DEAD." Then he had an idea. "Hey, you're the Skylanders, ain't ya?! Oooh! You know, I could really use some help finding my body. What do you say pal? Huh!? You guys want to help me find the rest of me?"
"Sure T-Bone." Sunset said. "We can do that."
"AWWW! Thanks a MILLION, bub!" T-Bone said. "Y'know, I'd shake your hand, but haha I think mines out there somewhere. Nevermind. If we just follow the dotted line here that should help. Don't worry about me, I'll just put me go together as I go." Our heroes weren't sure where the dotted line came from but the followed it and found pieced of T-Bone, did put himself together as they went, first as a skull on a leg, then as a half done skeleton, and finally a fully complete skeleton. "Ohhh yeah, baby!" He said. "Feels good to rattle them again! Cha-Cha-Cha!" Hugo, who showed up, was observing T-Bone.
"Uh - no offence, Mr.T-Bone," He said. "but I can't help noticeing that your head would make a perfect receptical for the next Eternal Source. You wouldn't happen to have an extra head on you, would you?"
"Hmmm." T-Bone said. "Lemme see. Extra head... extra head... Course I don't have an extra head! Sheesh! The living. Can't live with 'em, can't - Oh, never mind. Actually, Chubs, I could tell you where to you can find a pretty good one. Not as handsome as mine, of course, but you know. Actually it's more like a mask. Will it work?"
"Perfect!" Hugo said. "And you can take the Skylanders and their friends there?"
"Well..." T-Bone said. "Seeing as how you did help me recover the rest of my body, I suppose I could help out." He then turned to Fluttershy. "Depends on you. Think you and handle going down to the Underworld." She then took a deep breath and nodded. "Right" T-Bone said. "Here we go! Oh, your going to love this." He then opened the door and led our heroes down to the Underworld with the door slamming behind them.
Our heroes followed T-Bone down a bony staircase and into the Crawling Catacombs.
"Skull mask.. Skull mask." T-Bone said as he looked around. "I know exactly where it is...I think. If you think about it, it's kinda redundant having a Skull Mask in the Underworld. You know - WHO'D WEAR IT! HA! - We're all skulls! -Kinda silly. Oookay, we should be fine. Just as long as we don't run into any spiders." Just then a spider came down near T-Bone, who got scared out of his wits. "WAHHHH! Sorry, gang! You're on your own!" He then ran off with the spider on his heels.
"Don't worry!" Sunset shouted. "We'll be fine." She then led our heroes through the catacombs. Along the way Boomer decided to tell his Skylanders origin story.
"My story is a blast." He said as a flashback showed him as a young troll growing up into a soldier. "As a young troll, I liked nothing better than big bangs and blowing things up. My favorite target of all was sheep, which I loved to blast sky-high. So it was only natural that when I grew up he became an explosives expert in the troll army." We then see him feel that something is wrong. "But although the army delighted in my detonations, I soon felt something was wrong. The army was actually seemed to take all this war seriously." We then see him go off to find sheep to blast, much to the general's frustration. "So I scamped merrily to find some sheep instead. The Troll General erupted with anger when he heard that I was gone. He needed my demolitions expert to blow up a dam and flood the village below." Next, we see him listen to the plan and go off to stop it. "But I had overheard the General's plans and intended to intervene." We then see him use his dynamite on some sheep to stop the flooding water. "So, while my former squad mates destroyed the dam, I began throwing sticks of dynamite at a nearby flock of sheep. The sheep hurtled through the air and into the oncoming torrent of water where their thick wool began to soak it all up. By the time the water reached the first village house, the deluge had become a dribble." Finally, we see master Eon sign Boomer up to the team. "When Master Eon heard I had rescued an entire village, he signed me up quick-smart. Now, my explosive skills are used only to terminate evil and still occasionally sheep, although I'll deny it if you ask me."
"That's so brave of you." Pinkie said.
"Thanks, I thought so too." Boomer said. Before long, our heroes soon found the Skull Mask and brought it to T-Bone, who escaped the spider.
"Heeeey." He said. "I'm impressed. you actually got the Skull Mask? Not bad for a living-type. You three with the shells might smell kinda funny, but you're alright. Hey, sorry about before. It's just, you know, spiders like to -- steal my bones. Long story. -Tell ya over some ribs." He then led our heroes up the stairs back to the surface where they heard Eon's voice from beyond.
"Excellent, The Skull Mask of the philosopher king Morterlonis, first lord of the Undead." The mask put itself around a hoop of the great machine. Meanwhile Far down below, 2 purple eyes opened up. Hugo soon admired their progress.
"The Skull Mask fits perfectly!" He said. "Now we just need the Eternal Undead Source!"
"Nice." T-Bone said. "Hey, porkpie - if you're - uh - looking for an Eternal Undead Source, I might know a guy..."
"Uh we're not looking for AN Eternal Undead Source, we're looking for THE Eternal Undead Source!" Hugo said.
"Well o' course!" T-Bone said. "I knew that. What other kind is there?"
"Splendid then!" Hugo said.
"Well, let's go get it!" Rainbow Dash said before racing to the door only to be stopped by T-Bone.
"Wooooooah, slow it down there!" He said. "You can't just walk in and get it! It's being guarded by that creepazoid Count Necropolis over in the Creepy Citadel! It's uh creepy. You know says so in the name. - What we really need to get in there - is the Skeleton Key."
"I see." Hugo said. "Do you know where to find it?"
"Well, yeah." T-Bone said. "Some zombie bullies borrowed it and never returned it yeah ha ha you know like they do. But if we put our heads together I mean uh figuratively we could get it back no problem. Whaddya say?"
"All right, let's go get the Skeleton Key." Sunset said.
"CHECK!" T-Bone said. "Let's go! Tell ya the the truth, I've been dying to get back to the crypt! - Well, not exactly DYING... but you get the picture..." He then opened the doors leading our heroes back, TO THE UNDERWORLD!
Our heroes soon arrive at the Cadaverous Crypt, where the Skeleton Key lies.
"Alrighty - the Skeleton Key is down here in this crypt somewhere." T-Bone said. "And don't you worry, I won't run out on ya this time. Just be sure you don't run too far ahead, or else we might get separated." At that moment, a door closed shut with T-Bone on one side and our heroes on the other. "Guess I'll just wait out here then..."
"Don't worry, we'll get the Skeleton Key." Sunset said as our heroes went off. Along the way, Drobot told everyone the story of where he got the robot suit.
"It's quite a tale to tell." Drobot said as a flashback showed him working on gadgets. "As a young dragon, I often felt like an odd one out. While my friends focused on flying, fighting and aerial frolics, I spent my time studying gadgets and gizmos." We then see him being blown away by a tale wind into a desert surrounded my machinery. "One day, I was caught in a terrible tailwind and forced down to a deserted island. To my surprise, I found myself surrounded by magnificent machines, amazing appliances, and clever contraptions." Next, we see him build a workshop and a new robotic suit. "At once, I made the island my widget workshop. Before long I had built myself a brand spanking new robotic flying suit with sensational super powers. A vocal synthesizer gave my voice a deep sonic boom, my eyes fired laser beams and I could shoot spinning gears at lightning speeds." Finally, we see him use his new powers for good. "Nowadays, I am a dragon master supreme when it comes to sparring in the skies. And, with my homeland suddenly starting to feel a bit small, I flew out to seek a certain Portal Master and sign up as a Skylander."
"Woah, that is so cool!" Mikey said.
"Oh, indeed it is." Drobot said. Before long, our heroes found The Skeleton Key, which is the spine and pelvis with a bone sticking out on one side. They brought it to T-Bone.
"Wow!" He said. "You found the Skeleton Key! This'll open the gates to the Creepy Citadel... HEY! But it also does this!" He then took the Key, removed his head from his shoulders and screwed it on to the key. "Amazing, huh? Comes in pretty handy for looking through keyholes. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh yeah, heh heh, save that one for later." They soon went up the stairs, unaware of a hooded figure with bony hands watching them.
"Hehehehehe!" The figure laughed. "Excellent! Soon, I will have them in my web." Back at the ruins our heroes had just come through the door.
"Okay, top floor - ladies lingerie, house wares, Land of the Living." T-Bone said.
"Good gracious!" Hugo said in shock. "What's your head doing attached to that key?"
"Well uh heh heh it IS a "skeleton" key. Buh-duh-duh." T-Bone said before turning to our heroes. "Anyway, with that all outta the way, we can leave for the Creepy Citadel anytime you're ready. What do you think?"
"We're ready! Let's GO!" Sunset said.
"Now you're talking!" T-Bone said. "We should have our bony hands on the Eternal Undead Source in no time. Well, my bony hands anyway cuz, you know... skeleton. Yeah." They then enter the doors to the underworld, ONE LAST TIME!!!!!
Our heroes soon arrive at the Creepy Citadel, where the Eternal Undead Source is being held by Count Necropolis.
"Welp, there's the Creepy Citadel where Count Necropolis rests in peace with the Eternal Undead Source in his fingers." T-Bone said. "Heh-heh. Okay, lemme see if I remember. First you'll enter the Castle through the Main Gate. Then after you fight your way through the Castle, you'll go through the Gateway right there. Then - if you play your cards right, you'll find the Eternal Undead Source. HA! Easy! Oh, hear let me get the gate." He then inserted the Skeleton Key into the lock which opened the gate. "And don't worry, I'll be right behind you. -And by that I mean right here. Hahahahaha. Good luck!"
"Thanks, T-Bone!" Sunset said as she and the others went off. Along the way Drill Sergeant told the story of how he joined the Skylanders.
"My story began years after the Arkeyans vanished." He said as a flashback showed him motionless. "I am an ancient piece of Arkeyan apparatus, once left to rust underground." We then see Terrafin pulling him out of the earth. "Thousands of years later, Terrafin was burrowing through the earth when he struck something solid. Terrafin tugged the artifact above ground and dragged it off to show Master Eon." Next we see Eon bring Drill Sergeant to life. "Eon muttered a few magical phrases. There was a clunk, then a whirr, and then... KACHUNK! I clattered to life with lights blazing and engine revving, I turned his attention to Terrafin." We then see him following Terrafin. "By Arkeyan law, I was sworn to serve the shark for all eternity. Terrafin's first order was simple: 'STOP FOLLOWING ME.' But it's one that Drill Sergeant has found tricky to compute." Finally, we see him use his weapons to fight evil. "Without an Arkeyan in sight, Drill Sergeant found Skylands a bit senseless. So Eon signed him up, and his drills are now used for death blows against evil."
"That was an amazing tale!" Sunset said.
"Indeed." Drill Sergeant said. Before long our heroes made it to the gateway to where the Eternal Undead Source is. Next to it is the hooded figure from the Cadaverous Crypt who removed his hood to reveal himself to be an evil skeleton with a long cape and teeth like a shark.
"So you are the little worms that crawl through my citadel?" The skeleton asked. "Well I, Count Necropolis, will make sure you never leave."
"Dude, your really whacked." Casey Jones said. "Just you against all of us?
"Oh, it's not just me you need to worry about." Count Necropolis said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the undead symbol on them. "You'll also need to deal with these three!." He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before. The first one of them is a violet dragon, the second is a skeletal ghoul, and the third was an undead elven sorceress.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Cynder, Hex, and Ghost Roaster." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it. You guys deal with Count Necropolis."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Casey Jones, Rarity, Donnie, Applejack, Raph, Pinkie Pie and Mikey then prepared to fight Count Necropolis in order to get the Eternal Undead Source.
"You must be joking if you think you can take me on." Count Necropolis said before preparing to fight. During this, a group of his skeletal followers joined in and started singing an acapella song.
[SKELETON SINGER] Well, well, well, what have we here? Eon's kid, huh? Oh, I'm really scared So you're the one everybody's talkin' about, ha, ha, ha
You're jokin', you're jokin' I can't believe my eyes You're jokin' me, you gotta be This can't be the right gal She's delegate, she's puny I don't know which is worse I might just split a seam now If I don't die laughing first
When Count Necropolis says There's trouble close at hand You'd better pay attention now Cause he's the Boogie Man And if you aren't shakin' Then there's something very wrong Cause this may be the last time now That you hear the boogie song, ohhh

Spyro and the others free Cynder, Hex, and Ghost Roaster, who passed out while the others and Spike watched our heroes fight Count Necropolis.

It's much more fun, I must confess When lives are on the line Not mine, of course, but yours, old boy Now that'd be just fine
[COUNT NECROPOLIS] Leave here fast or you will have to Answer for this foolish act
[SKELETON SINGER] Oh, brother, you're something You put me in a spin You aren't comprehending The position that you're in It's hopeless, you're finished You haven't got a prayer Cause he's Mr. Necropolis And you ain't going nowhere
After the song was finished, Count Necropolis soon decided to take his leave of the area.
"You may have one this time." He said. "But know that you will soon find yourselves fighting something even Eon could not handle, HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He then left in a puff of smoke. Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro, is that you?" Cynder asked focusing her eyes.
"How long have we been out?" Hex asked looking around.
"And where did these bonebags come from?" Ghost Roaster asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Undead Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." They soon touched the Eternal Undead Source, which summoned giant bony hands to raise our heroes back to the surface where they met T-Bone who met up with the others. Upon arriving, our heroes heard Eon's voice from beyond.
"Skylands is growing darker my friends." He said. "But now you bring the Eternal Undead Source. Add its power to the Core of Light." At that moment, the Eternal Undead Source went deep underground and awoke the spirits of the underworld came up and out of the Skull Mask to add a sense of mystery to the great machine. Unaware of our heroes, The 6 Elemental Elites watch all this while working on a machine of their own.
"My brothers." Meowsmerosis said. "Is the device almost ready?"
"Indeed Meowsmerosis." Doctor Mechanicus said. "We'll have it ready by the time their device is finished."
"Excellent." Meowsmerosis said. "Meanwhile, let's keep our visitors busy. Call out Don Fuego." Back at the ruins saw a row of obelisks sink into the earth to show a train and tracks.
"Wow!" Hugo said. "Am I the only one that didn't know this was here? I mean, honestly...there's a train here!"
"Did you say that there is a train?" Diggs asked.
"Right there behind you!" Hugo said pointing at the train.
"Oh that explains the tracks." Diggs said after looking at it. "Huh, I'm not sure how I could have missed that."
"It couldn't possibly be because he's blind as a bat could it?" Flynn asked sarcastically. "That's right...Boom!
"Maybe." Casey and Raph said resulting in an elbow in the gut from both April and Fluttershy.
"Hey!" Diggs said. "I can still hear, you know. Listen, we moles were digging, searching for the Crucible of the Ages. But there was a terrible cave it!"
"Oh dear!" Fluttershy said in worry.
"WAIT!" Hugo said. "You know where the Crucible is? That's one of the missing components to the Great Machine! It's the only relic in the world that can contain the power of the Eternal Fire Source!"
"I know." Diggs said. "That's why we were looking for...Wait, what am i saying? There's now time to explain! The cave! There are moles trapped down there! I bare escaped, when the cave sealed the entrance shut!"
"Portal Master Shimmer, if we can open a path through the debris, perhaps you, your friends, and the Skylanders could recover the Crucible." Hugo said.
"Good idea Hugo." Sunset said before stating something. "But you can just call me Sunset."
"UH- What part of "moles trapped down there" don't you people understand?" Diggs asked.
"We'll need something powerful enough to blow up the debris that's blocking the cave!" Donnie said. "Then we can get the Crucible - AND save the moles."
"Finally!" Diggs said.
"Leave it to me." Boomer said before going to the caved-in entrance and planting several sticks of dynamite. "Time to go BOOM!" The dynamites then blow up, destroying the debris.
"What was that!?" Diggs asked. "Was that another cave in!? Oh no!"
"Chill man, I just cleared the entrance." Boomer said.
"Oh, that's a releaf." Diggs said. "Are you ready to go to the mines now?"
"Yep, let's the Crucible - AND save the moles." Sunset said.
"Okay, let's go!" Diggs said. "Um, but first, will someone explain to me why it is we are taking a train?" One explination later, our heroes then entered the train and took off to the Molekin Mine.
Our heroes soon arrived at the Molekin Mine where they met Blobbers.
"What the..." He said "Where did you come from? The Skylanders!" He then looked at Sunset and Fugitoid "Oh and you two must be the Portal Masters that helped them rescue our townsfolk! I'm afraid we need your help once more! We were digging, um, well, I mean the Molekin were digging - and I was supervising. We found something! An ancient relic called the Crucible of the Ages! Dunno what happened, but some... someTHING triggered a cave-in! They're all trapped... the mole miners! You've got to rescue them! Use the Mining Pick to break through cracked rocks. Simple physics!"
"Thanks Blobbers." Sunset said before taking the Mining Pick and led everyone off to save the miners and find the Crucible of the Ages! Along the way, Cynder and decided to tell her origin stories.
"I'll go first." Cynder said as a flashback showed her as an egg being taken by evil forces. "I was a dangerous dragon with a dark past. While still in my egg, I was stolen by the henchmen of the evil Dragon King named Malefor." We then see Malefor training her. "He brought me up as a black-hearted harbinger of despair, but deep inside me shone a small speck of goodness." We then see Spyro help free Cynder from Malefor's control. "It was none other than Spyro who released me from Malefor's grip by defeating me in battle. Once defeated, the red mist lifted and the spell of evil was broken. I quickly renounced my evil ways and vowed to fight for good." We finally see her help Spyro defeat Malefor and join the Skylanders. "I even joined Spyro on a dangerous quest and came out smiling. Trusting Spyro's judgement, Master Eon signed me up to become one of the scariest Skylanders."
"My goodness, you two make a great team!" Rarity said making Spyro and Cynder blush. Before too long they met Diggs who found the Crucible of the Ages!
"You did it!" He said "You saved the miners! I'd gladly walk over and shake your hand but I'm afraid I must have injured my leg while down here and can't walk. Oh! I can't make it on my own because of all the excruciating pain I'm in. Push me out in the mine cart, would ya? Wait, in my complete agony I almost forgot I managed to find the Crucible of the Ages! I'll hold on to it while you push, even though it hurts."
"No problem." Sunset said as she and the others put Diggs in the cart. On the way out, Hex decided to tell her story.
"It's quite a tale to tell." She said as a flashback showed her demonstrating her skills and news of it reaching Malefor. "I was a skilled elven sorceress whose spell-casting abilities once attracted great attention from all across Skylands. Many years ago, the news of my power even passed to the dark and dangerous underworld. Here, the evil Undead Dragon King, Malefor, hatched a plot to kidnap my." We then see Malefor's minions try in vain to find Hex who was hiding with many other mystics. "But try as they might, Malefor's minions could not track me down. Together with the entire local magic community of soothsayers, sorcerers, witches, wizards and warlocks, I was forced into hiding." We then see Hex go to fight Malefor and discover that she is one with the land of the dead. "A life on the run was not a great deal of fun, so I decided to take on the terrible Dragon King. I descended into the darkest depths of the Undead underworld. Here, to my surprise, the Undead army of Rhu-Barbs, Shadow Knights and Bone Archers held back from attack. But soon I realized the gruesome reason why: by entering the land of the Undead, I had become one of them." We finally see Hex unleash her full power on Malefor. "I unleashed her most destructive magic on Malefor. When the smoke cleared, I was back in my village, but my Undead legacy remained. Nowadays I am the protector of magic-wielders everywhere, not to mention one of Eon's most admired Skylanders."
"That is so AWESOME!!!" Rainbow Dash said.
"I know." Hex replied. Before long, our heroes soon arrived at the entrance to the Mine.
"You saved everyone!!" Blobbers said. "AND I have some good news! All this seismic activity as opened up a new tunnel back there. And there are new train tracks! Tracks that go deeper."
"Hey!" Diggs said. "Come on! Miner in terrible pain here! Grab that Crucible and let's get our of here!" Our heroes soon left, unaware of yet another hooded figure that left burn marks where he walked.
"This is very very good!" He said. "Now I just have to wait." When our heroes returned, they heard Eon's voice once again.
"the Crucible of the Ages!" He said "Made withstand the terrible forces of 1000 burning suns." The Crucible then inserted itself into a place of the machine just below the centerpiece of the machine. Back at Kaos' fortress, the little bald guy was not happy.
"GLUMSHANKS!" He said.
"Uh, yes, Lord Kaos." Glumshanks answered.
"I have a job for you." Kaos said. "Those cursed Skylanders, OOH and that big faker of a Portal Master and her friends, have interfered with my plans to become emperor of Skylands for the last time. But you Glumshanks, you help can stop them."
"Me?" He asked.
"See, things are very bad for us right now." Kaos said.
"But I thought you said the Darkness was growing." Glumshanks said. "That it didn't matter what they did. You said-"
"NEVERMIND WHAT I SAID!" Kaos shouted before getting his cool back. "Look Glumshanks, all we have to do is keep them from getting one, JUST ONE of the Eternal Source, and it'll all be over, which brings me to you old friend. All you have to do is make your way deep underground, sneak past the deadly lava guardians, and withstand the scorching heat of a burning volcano to sabotage the tracks at the mine train. Meanwhile, Don Fuego will go on ahead and simply go after the Eternal Fire Source. HAHAHAHAHA! See, there's more then one way to derail their plans."
"Oh please tell me you didn't just say that." Glumshanks said who left, unhappy about the job he was given.
"OH I DID! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Kaos answered. Back at the ruins, Hugo doing research and admiring our heroes progress.
"The Core of Light is nearly complete, but we're not done yet." He said. "The caves underground go deep. These train tracks should lead to the Lava Lakes, where you'll find the Eternal Fire Source."
"Ooh...That sounds dangerous." Diggs said.
"It will be." Hugo said. "Only creatures of the deep dwell there."
"Well, at least it will be warm." Diggs said. "And hey, my leg is all better now! I'll bet the train started. Are you ready to go now?"
"Yep, let's go get the Eternal Fire Source." Sunset said.
"Okay!" Diggs said. "ALL ABOARD the express way to certain doom! Choo! Choo!" They then got on the train and took off. along the way, Sunset pulled out another picture of Leo and Twilight and wondered if they were okay.
Our heroes soon began their journey to the Lava Lakes.
"Alright." Diggs said. "I guess it's up to us to get The Eternal Fire Source. The track splits here. One way leads to the old mines, but it's caved in. One of you'll have to find a lever to switch the tracks so we can choo choo down to the Lava Lakes. I'll just keep shoveling coal while one of you looks around for the lever."
"I got this." Rainbow Dash said. And before too long she found the lever, pulled it, and the tracks switched. But as soon as they went deeper into the mine, they saw that the tracks were mixed up again.
"Oh what a surprise." Diggs said. "Need to find another lever. HA! Who built this thing anyway!? They know nothing of Mole Engineering."
"Uggh, hang on a sec." Rainbow Dash said before finding another lever and pulling it, fixing the tracks. Before long our heroes soon arrive at a locked gate.
"Hmm." Diggs said. "This gate leads to the Crystal Grottos, but it's locked."
"I'll see if I can find a lever to open it." Rainbow Dash said before racing off to find a lever. Before long the gate was open and she came back just as soon as she left. When our heroes arrive at the Lava Lakes, they find that the tracks are all broken.
"What happened here?" Diggs asked. "The track's been sabotaged!"
"And Spyro and I see the varmint that did it too." Applejack said as she and Spyro saw Glumshanks tearing up tracks with a pick-ax. As soon as he realized he was found out, he ran for his life.
"This looks like a job for a Mole!" Diggs said "Some one has to push those giant stone blocks to bridge the gaps, then I'll build new tracks on top of them."
"Leave that to me." Applejack said as she pushed the blocks. before too long, she had bridged all the gaps.
"Well done Applejack." Fugitoid said.
"Wow, your pretty strong." Spyro commented.
"I know." Applejack said with a proud, but humble grin.
"I'll repair the broken tracks and we'll be off." Diggs said before fixing the tracks. Before long, new tracks were installed. "Okay - done! Would've been quicker if someone had helped, but it's fine. "Let's move." They took off again, along the way they accidentally ran into Glumshanks, who ran away as fast as he could but had to jump off the tracks.
"Is he gonna be okay?" Sunset asked.
"I think so." Spyro said. Before to long, our heroes soon arrive at the Lava Lakes, where the Eternal Fire Source dwells.
"Here we are, the Lava Lakes." Diggs said. "Let's split up. I'll keep this train running while find the Eternal Fire Source! Wish me luck!"
"Good luck!" Sunset said as our heroes went off to find the Eternal Fire Source. Along the way, Ghost Roaster decided to tell his story.
"Hoohoohoo, this tale is a real doozy." He said as a a flashback showed him as a chef. "I absolutely loved food. From spectre soup to phantasm fries, I regarded any undead recipe with relish (and sometimes tops them with relish too). But I wasn't always a gobbling soul; I was once a simple chef called Olav. As Olav, I lived in a mountain-top village and was said to serve the best sheep-wool stew in all of Skylands (not that anyone had ever tried it anywhere else there)." We then see him fall into the Valley of the Dead. "One day, when I was wandering the hills searching for sheep (or, more specifically, their wool), I slipped down the mountain side. Luckily I bounced on my behind and made a soft landing in the valley below. Unluckily my bottom was badly bruised. More unluckily still, I had entered the Valley of the Undead, and my days as a friendly foodie were over." We then see him in need of a undead meal. "Now totally famished, I, Olav, or 'Ghost Roaster' as I decided to call myself, went in immediate search for a bite to eat. Luckily, a nearby ghost town was spilling over with puffy white spooks - which I promptly treated as a paranormal all-you-can-eat buffet." We finally see him being chained and Eon asking him to join. "Understandably, the town's ethereal ruler was a little irritated to find its inhabitants completely devoured. So, as punishment, he chained me to a rattling spiked ball to warn any wandering spirits. Taking pity on me, Master Eon made me a Skylander - but only after I swore not to turn Hex into a hamburger."
"That is quite a tale." Fugitoid said.
"Hohohoho, it is." Ghost Roaster said. Before long, our heroes soon found the Eternal Fire Source. Standing next to it is the hooded figure from the Molekin Mine. He soon removed the disguise to reveal himself to be a suave looking man in close inspired by Spain and a flaming head that looks like a pompadour.
"Greetings and salivations, Skylanders." The man said. "The figure said It is I, that panic provoking pyromancer: Don Fuego."
"Hey, let's skip the fancy talk and get to-AHHH" Raph said before ducking his head into his shell as Don Fuego swung his sword.
"Aww, tsk tsk tsk tks, such manners." Don Fuego said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the fire symbol on them. "Looks like my followers shall teach you a lesson" He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before. The first one of them is an elf archer, the second is a fire spirit knight, and the third was a fire phoenix/dragon hybrid.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Flameslinger, Ignitor, and Sunburn." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it. You guys deal with Don Fuego."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Casey Jones, Rarity, Donnie, Applejack, Raph, Pinkie Pie and Mikey then prepared to fight Don Fuego in order to get the Eternal Fire Source.
"So you want to fight me?" Don Fuego asked preparing to fight. "I warn you it's going to be HOT, HOT, HOT!" At that moment, lava girls and a lava band suddenly leapt out of the lava and started singing.
Don Fuego soon joined in the singing as he fought our heroes.

As the song stopped, Don Fuego put away his sword and left.
"I am feeling generous, so I will let you go with the Eternal Fire Source." He said. "But when beware, for you will soon face the full might of the Elemental Elites." He then jumped into the lava and surfed it as if it was a tidal wave. Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro, is that you?" Flameslinger asked when he lifted his blindfold for only a moment to see.
"Where, pray tell, are we?" Ignitor asked looking around.
"And where did these guys come from?" Sunburn asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Fire Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." They soon touched the Eternal Fire Source, which summoned lava to to raise the stone our heroes were standing on back to the surface where they met Diggs who met up with the others. Upon arriving, our heroes heard Eon's voice from beyond.
"Fire." He said. "A force of destruction, yet also possessing the power to burn a way all things evil." At that moment, fireballs started surging through the machine and out through the Crucible of the Ages. In Kaos' fortress the machine the Elemental Elites are building is almost complete, and Meowsmerosis is pleased.
"Very good." He said "When should we have it ready?"
"Just as soon as the Core of Light is finished." Doctor Mechanicus said.
"Hohohoho, this is very very good for us, yes, no." Don Fuego said.
"Indeed, but I need to make sure that our out-of-towners finish their machine at the moment we finish ours." Meowsmerosis said. "That's why I'm going to personally see what they are capable of. Wish me luck." He then went off to who knows where. Back at the ruins, Hugo was going through his books doing research.
"There is only one Eternal Source left to find - The Magic Source." He said. "But magic is certainly no exact science... and from what I can decipher, the Core needs a very special, ancient kind of oil that allows all the other elements to receive the magic. But my book says nothing else about it...I don't know where to look." Just then, Flynn came running in.
"Hey, you know that weird ancient statue out in the water that we've all been wondering about?" He asked.
"Yeah, what about it?" Raph replied.
"Well it's holding to large bubbles that are contain to strangers, one being a girl with glasses and the other looking just like you three." Flynn answered. "And one more thing....it's moving."
"What?" Hugo asked in shock
"LEO??" Raph, Donnie, and Mikey added in more shock.
"TWILIGHT???" The Rainbooms added in even more shock.
"Master Sunset, can you, your friends and the Skylanders go investigate?" Hugo asked. "I'll continue to search for answers."
"Okay." Sunset said as she and the others raced off. They found a raft and rode it to a rock in the middle of the water. There, they found a giant statue with 6 arms, 2 of which were indeed holding two bubbles, one with Leo inside and the other with Twilight inside. When Sunset touchedhe statue, the arms seemed to come alive and lowered the bubbles that released her friends. The 2 of them woke up to see the others hugs them in happiness. After Leo and Twilight explained how they ended up in those bubbles, the statue then came to life and introduced himself.
"Greetings Skylanders and friends." He said. "You have awakened us from our 10,000 year slumber...We are what is left of an ancient civilization. The Arkeyan Weapon Masters. We understood the connection between magic and technology. We are the keepers of many secrets We have waited for a team led by one to come, to pass our secrets to. That which you and your friends pursue is near." He then looked at Sunset. "Are you and your prepared to cross the Great Chain of Time?"
Sunset then thought for a moment and looked at her friends. She then knew they came this far to stop Kaos, and they weren't going to stop now. She had to do this for her father. "You bet we are." She said to the Weapon Master.
"Good." The Weapon Master said. "New discoveries await you." Our heroes then crossed the Great Chain of Time to who knows where, explaining everything to Leo and Twilight along the way.
Our heroes soon arrived at a strange place where the Weapon Master called them via a holographic communicator.
"The Eternal Source of Magic was the original source of all." He said. "But as we uncovered it's secrets, its power could not be contained. You must prove your worth if you are to be trusted with the energy that flows through all things the magic: the Quicksilver. Find a key to a gate and I will speak to you again"
"Okay, we'll prove our worth." Sunset said before turning to everyone. "Come on gang." They then went off to find the key. Along the way Flameslinger told our heroes his origin story.
"It is quite a tale to tell." He said as flashback showed him being born with super powered eyes. "Elves are often said to have a sparkle in their eyes, but I was born with an entire bonfire. And the fire in my eyes was more than just a handy way of heating the house. It gave me the mystical ability to see incredible faraway places." We then see him look through fires as extra eyes. "Wherever fiery flames exist, I can use them as an extension of his very own eyes. I soon became the talk of the town, and the neighboring town, and the town three towns over." We then see him put on a blindfold and practice archery. "But I soon tired of visiting rubberneckers. I wrapped my eyes in a blindfold and slunk stealthily off into the forest. Here, I would practice blindfolded archery by bullseyeing Bomb Fiends with my bow." Next, we see him see a drowning fire spirit and race to the rescue. "Then one day in his mind's eye he saw a drowning fire spirit in a nearby pond. Quicker than wildfire, Flameslinger sprinted to the struggling spirit and saved him from a watery grave." After that, we see the fire spirit give him gifts for Flameslinger's good deed, then Flameslinger uses them to hold archery tournaments. "A fiery friendship was instantly formed and the spirit gave Flameslinger two gifts - magic fire boots for lightning quick speed and an enchanted bow that shoots flaming arrows. Soon, Flameslinger was back in the public eye, holding blindfolded archery tournaments and winning every time. His performance caught the eye of a certain special spectator, Master Eon, and the rest... well, the rest was Skylands history!"
"Wow, that is quite a tale!" Twilight said with a grin.
"Oh it is." Flameslinger said. They soon found the key and unlocked the gate. and they met the Weapon Master again
"We Arkeyans once ruled all of Skylands." He said. "We guarded the Eternal Source of Magic to prevent future generations from discovering our secrets. Beyond this gate is what remains of our defenses. The Quicksilver vauld lies a head it will only open when the three energy beams are aligned with the three seals."
"We're on it." Sunset said as she and the others went of find the seals. Along the way, it was Ignitor's turn to tell his origin story.
"Back in the day I was known as Ignatius." He said as a flashback showed him searching for a dragon and meeting a witch, who offered him a gift. "When first he encountered the red dragon, I was a young knight with squeaky armour and a rusty sword. On slay way to fight the dragon, I met a witch who presented me with a special (and handy) gift - a magical suit of armour offering protection from dragon breath." We then see the poor chap being set on fire by the dragon's breath and be trapped in the armor. "But a nasty surprise was waiting for me at the dragon's lair. The monster rained its fiery breath over my poor head, settling me on fire. I had been tricked! This new suit was made from a cursed steel that bound itself to me, trapping me inside where he would forever remain a fire spirit." We finally see him win the fight and become a Skylander. "But all was not lost. He defeated the dragon and became a Skylander. Now named Ignitor, he has since embraced his fiery talents and keeps a vengeful lookout for witches everywhere."
"I hope you find her." Leo said.
"I hope so to." Ignitor replied. Soon our heroes soon aligned the beams into the seals and unlocked the gate. They then when up to the vault where they met the Weapon Master Again.
"You have proven your worth." He said. "We pass unto you the very essence of all magical being... the Quicksilver." Our heroes soon obtain it and go off, not knowing that Meowsmerosis is watching them from a distance.
"Excellent." He said. "Now just one final piece to for them to obtain." He then left to who knows where. Back at the ruins, they were greeted by Eon's voice.
"Quicksilver." He said. "To bind the magic within the Core of Light." The Quicksilver then entered the machine, causing the runes on the machine to light up. Hugo and the others were near the Great Chain of Time with the Weapon Master.
"The Quicksilver is flowing through the core!" He said. "I can't believe it! Who knew there are still remnants of the Arkeyans?"
"They did." Everyone said.
"Oh, um, well of course they did." Hugo said before turning to the Weapon Master. "Please! We must find Eternal Magic Source! It's the final source we need to rebuild the Core of Light! Can you help us?"
"Yes, we can." The Weapon Master answered.
"I can't believe I'm speaking to a real Arkeyan!" Hugo said.
"Indeed, we though you had all disappeared." Chop Chop replied.
"In some ways, yes, but in others, we have always been here." The Weapon Master said. "But for now, you will find the Eternal Source of Magic locked away in our ancient armory, where you will also witness the full expanse of our civillization...of our power. Would you and your friends like to go to our armory now Master Sunset?"
"You bet!" Sunset excitingly
"Excellent." The Weapon Master said. "Then the Arkeyan Armory awaits you." Our heroes then crossed the Great Chain of Time as they went to the Arkeyan Armory."
Our heroes soon arrive at the Arkeyan Armory, only to find it dark and abandoned, with only one light being from a holographic image of the Weapon Master.
"These caverns hold much of what is left of our once proud civilization." He said. "Restore power and you will find the Eternal Magic Source within. But be warned, Skylanders. Restoring power will also awaken the ancient Arkeyan defenses that have lain dormant for thousands of years."
"You got it!" Sunset said before our heroes soon went off to find a light switch. Before long, they found the very switch.
"At last - it is time" The Weapon Master said. "After untold ages of darkness - LIGHT!" Our heroes then pulled the switch and the room lit up revealing a thousands of giant automatons. Donnie and Twilight were in awe.
"There are so many machine here!" Donnie said.
"It's amazing!" Twilight added.
"Come on, we can sight see later." Sunset said. "Let's get on this automaton and find the Eternal Magic Source."
"Okay." Twilight and Donnie said. Our heroes then got on the automaton and it suddenly came to life. They drove it through several defenses until they reached a large door. They then opened it and entered a room with a large temple. When they arrived, the Weapon Master met them again via hologram.
"Behold - the Eternal Magic Source." He said "You will find the Eternal Magic Source in the Main Vault, at the center of our temple. In order to unlock the Main Vault, three switches must be activated in smaller vaults. These vaults will require a security key card." Before long, our heroes found the security card."Excellent - you have found the security card." The Weapon Master said. "Now bring it back to the Security Control Panel." They then inserted the card into the control panel. "You have succeeded." He said. "Now deactivate the three switches within the smaller Vaults."
"We're on it." Sunset said as our heroes went to do just that. Along the way, Sunburn told his origin story.
"I'm something of a rare find." He said as a flashback showed him being born into the world. "For years, soothsayers and psychics had predicted the birth of a dragon-phoenix cross. So, when the newly hatched me was catapulted into the world from his cozy volcanic nest, I became the drag-nix,or phoe-gon, everyone wanted to meet." We then see him give the old what for on several baddies who want a piece of him "I became a target for every thief, bandit and evil sorcerer who wanted a piece of my powers. Thankfully, being able to both throw flames and teleport was a handy defense." Next, we see Eon make Sunburn a real Skylander. "Still for me, Skylands was not a safe place. Luckily, Master Eon also noticed my amazing abilities and made me a Skylander. This not only provided me with protection, but gave me a license to incinerate evil. It also provided plenty of opportunities to play teleporting pranks on my new teammates."
"That was very kind of him." Fluttershy said.
"Yep, that's my dad." Sunset said to herself, a bit sad. Being away from her must have made Eon lonely. Before long, our heroes had activated the switches and unlocked the Main Vault. When they found the Eternal Magic Source, A warlock with a cat's head was standing next to it.
"Hello, Skylanders and company." He said. "I am Meowsmerosis, leader of the Elemental Elites."
"Good, I've wanted to take on the leader of this group of weirdos." Raph said while drawing his sais.
"The feeling is mutual." Meowsmerosis said before pulling out three toy like statues encased in dark orbs with the magic symbol on them. "But some of you will have to deal with these three." He then threw the orbs which transformed into three figures wearing the same mind control helmets from before. The first one of them is a tiki-masked sorcerer, the second is an orc, and the third was a grub worm as big as a beach ball.
"Who are these guys?" Sunset asked.
"Double Trouble, Voodood, and Wrecking Ball." Spyro said. "Okay we'll snap them out of it. You guys deal with Lord Meowsmerosis."
"You got is Spyro." Sunset said. She, Shini, Karai, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Casey Jones, Rarity, Donnie, Applejack, Raph, Pinkie Pie, Mikey, Twilight, and Leo then prepared to fight Lord Meowsmerosis in order to get the Eternal Magic Source.
"Prepare yourselves!" Meowsmerosis said as his dark magic materialized. "For I intend to put a spell on you." He then started to sing a song that chilled our heroes.

At that moment, a smoke screen covered our heroes. When it cleared, they noticed that Meowsmerosis was gone. But then they heard his voice from somewhere.
"Take your Eternal Magic Source." He said. "It won't save you from what's to come."
"Those are some nice weapons." Spyro said.
"Thank a friend of ours from Beach City for the upgrades." Sunset said. Our heroes soon checked on the 3 formally mind controlled Skylanders who just woke up.
"Uhhh, Spyro, is that you?" Double Trouble asked, still a bit dizzy
"How long have we been here?" Voodood asked looking around.
"And who are these guys?" Wrecking Ball asked looking at the Rainbooms.
"It's a long story." Spyro said before turning to the Eternal Magic Source. "For now, let's get this back to the core of light." They soon touched the Eternal Fire Source, which summoned great magic to carry our heroes back to the ruins. Upon arriving, our heroes heard Eon's voice from beyond.
"My child, my friends." He said. "You have retrieved the final element. The very essence of Skylands. the Eternal Magic Source! The Core of Light is reborn." The Eternal Magic Source then inserted itself into the crystal deep within the machine and for a moment, everything stopped only for start again faster than ever. Before long, a beam of light blasted out of the machine and filled the sky with blinding light. Back at Kaos' fortress, Kaos was going to check on the Elemental Elites, who have been acting suspicious lately, (which he noticed just now!) when he stopped just after passing Glumshanks, who was all burnt up.
"Why, what's the matter Glumshanks?" he asked. "You look, uh, different somehow." Now at that moment, Glumshanks was mad enough strangle him. Meanwhile, the Elemental Elites had just finished their own machine.
"Now will you and the doc spill as to what this thing does?" Tony Thunder asked Meowsmerosis.
"Well, you see Tony old boy, our masters technology is the very thing helping us absorb, THE CORE OF LIGHT'S POWER!" Meowsmerosis answered before flipping a switch while laughing. "Thereby, giving us an edge over him, and the Skylanders." The Elites then grabbed rods that were sticking out of the machine. And at that moment, the light reach the Fortress and it was so powerful, the shutters flung open to its power, nearly blinding Kaos and Glumshanks.
"AHHHH, WHAT THE?" Kaos said. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" The two then went around the room searching for each other.
"GLUMSHANKS!"
"MASTER?"
"GLUMSHANKS!"
"MASTER?"
The two of them bumped into each other. "GLUMSHANKS!" Kaos said. "GET US OUT OF HERE! FULL SPEED AHEAD! TO THE OUTLANDS!" The fortress then started to do just that "AHHHH! MY DARKNESS! MY BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS! WELL, I'm not beaten YET!" He wasn't the only one, for around that same time, the machine that the Elemental Elite build was absorbing the light energy, causing them to grow and change in monstrous ways and laugh horrifying laughs that echoed throughout the fortress. I fear that our heroes will have a hard time beating these guys now. Back at the ruins, everyone was admiring the now finished.
"We did it!" Flynn said. "Wowsers! The Core of Light finally assembled! Now a grateful Skylands thanks me again. and YOU! ARE! WELCOME! BOOM!"
"Ugh, get over yourself." Cali said. "Things don't feel like they're, y'know, done yet."
"Ohhh yeah, I see where you're going." Flynn said with a grin. "That's because we haven't had our date yet. DOUBLE BOOM!"
"No, Cali is right." Hugo said. "The Core of Light has saved Skylands from The Darkness, but not from the Elemental Elites or the wrath of Kaos. Whatever weapon or power that he used to destroy the Great Machine before... we should assume that he could probably do it again. It's not over."
"TEN HUT!" General Robot said. "Sounds like we got a job to do! We're going to take the fight to the enemy right where he lives - his home base, before he can launch a counter attack. The Core of Light has revealed his location in the Outlands. I have the intel report right here."
Hugo was looking through the report with enthusiasm in his eyes. "That's it!!!" he said "General Robot, I could positively kiss you!"
"Um, at ease, Soldier." General Robot said.
"Quite right, of course, hehehehe, ahem." Hugo said.
"Okay, now that we know the location of Kaos' fortress, me, my friends, and the Skylanders can mount a final assault." Sunset said with determination in her eyes.
"Yeah, but how do you plan on getting there?" Cali asked.
"Why, the Core of Light, of course!" Hugo said before turning to our heroes. "Are you ready to take on the Evil Kaos and his followers, and rid Skylands of them once and for all?"
"More than ready!" Sunset said with a firey passion never seen in her since The Friendship Games.
"Splendid!" Hugo said before turning to the machine. "Now I'll just use the Core to send you there." He then examined the control panel. "Hmmm, let's see, I simply punch in a few coordinates here and..." He then pushed in a few buttons and suddenly a giant bubble appeared around the Skylanders and the Ninjas sending them up high into the air.
"Well... I guess the Core works pretty fast." Hugo said.
"I sure wish we could go with the Skylanders and the Ninjas." Cali said. "Then we could all take on Kaos togeather."
"I agree, Cali." Hugo said. "But somehow, I think this is something our heroes must do alone."
Our heroes soon arrived at Kaos' fortress, where danger seemed to loom everywhere. Upon arriving, Eon had called to our heroes from beyond.
"You have arrived at the moment of truth, my friends." He said. "Only you can defeat Kaos and rid his evil from Skylands once and for all. But beware - Kaos' elemental servents lurk throughout. Go forth and find the entrance to Kaos' castle. It is there you and your friends will meet your destiny. Good luck, my daughter."
"Thanks, dad." Sunset said as our heroes went to find the entrance. Along the way, Double Trouble, Voodood, and Wrecking Ball tell their origin stories.
"I have quite a tale to tell." Double Trouble said as a flashback showed living alone and search for exotic plants. "I once lived all on my lonesome in a tropical Skylands rainforest. Here, I foraged for rare roots and exotic plants for his potions." We then see him find a strange plant and ate up, which caused three little copies to appear. "During one such forage, I discovered the Whispering Water Lily, a wondrous plant said to multiply the strength of any spell. Straight away, he tried it out. I greedily gobbled the lily down, and then... Belch! Gurgle! Pop! Three tiny copies of himself appeared from nowhere." Next we him be friends with these three little guys. "It seemed that I had slightly misunderstood the lily's powers. Luckily, my clones were charming, clever and cute - and I could certainly do with companionship. There was just one drawback: the clones had an annoying tendency to explode on contact." Finally we see Master Eon make Double Trouble and his little friends Skylanders. "Still, they turned out to be exactly what Master Eon was looking for, so the hallowed one wasted no time in making me a Skylander."
"That is quite a tale." Fugitoid said.
"Indeed it is." Double Trouble.
"You should here my story." Voodood said as another flashback showed his tribe thriving. "The Ooga Warriors were one of the most revered tribes in all of Skylands, yet something haunted them - every night, wild dragons would circle their houses and any warrior not taking shelter would end up missing, presumably eaten. However, the only weapon that could destroy these dragons was the legendary Axe Reaver, long lost for centuries and said to increase in power if its wielder had true inner magic. The Ooga Orcs once had a reputation for being the fiercest fighting force around. Any Orcs who fancied signing up had first to retrieve a pebble from deep within the trouser-wettingly terrifying Cave of Trials. One such wannabe was me." We then see Voodood go down the tunnel to find a magnificent ax and become hero of the tribe. "Down I went, into the dark dirty depths. Suddenly, a beam of light appeared ahead, I stumbled forward into a chamber containing the skeleton of a dragon. In place of the dragon's heart lay a gleaming gem with an axe sticking out. I stepped from the cave with something far better than a pebble; I had the magical Axe Reaver, along with the skull of the slain dragon (which I would later adapt into an outlandish hat). The Ooga folk made me their leader at once, and I became a great Orc hero." Finally we see Voodood's tribe going to fight the Darkness, but return from a battle alone. "But even the Ooga could not defeat the dreadful Darkness. The whole tribe marched to meet this new threat, but only I returned alive. So, as you might have guessed, I joined the Skylanders."
"That must be awful." Fluttershy said.
"It was, but I honor them to this day." Voodood said.
"My turn, my turn." Wrecking Ball said as one more flashback showed him being a normal grub, and then almost an ingredient in a stew. "Once upon a time, I was nothing more than a common or garden grub. His adventure began when I became a speciality ingredient in a wizard's magical stew." We then see Wrecking Ball transform into what he is now. "After being chucked into the cooking concoction, a curious occurrence took place. I took a sip, and then a gulp, and ended up devouring the whole lot. When the wizard came in to check on his cauldron, instead of his tasty stew I found one enormous grub who had grown to over twenty times his original size." We finally see Wrecking Ball chewing the wizard up and spitting him out, and then becoming a Skylander. "And as I was still a little peckish, I popped the wizard in his mouth too - only to spit him straight back out again (even a grub's standard's, the wizard tasted like a warthog!). The story soon spread, raising smiles across the Skylands world. Soon I bounced into Master Eon, who evidently felt that the Skylanders could do with a serious stomach among their ranks."
"Wow!" Mikey said. "How much can you eat?"
"Lots of things, really." Wrecking Ball answered. Just then, they heard a loud explosion and see a thundercloud. Before they knew it, 8 giant monsters stood before them. They soon recognized them as the Elemental Elites, transformed into monsters. Tony Thunder turned into a living stormcloud. Captain Kraken turned into a leviathan. General Grindstone turned into a living mountain. Baron Von Bramble turned into a monsterous tree. Doctor Mechanicus turned into a giant war machine. Count Necropolis turned into a giant skeleton. Don Fuego turned into a living volcano. And Meowsmerosis turned into a sabretooth tiger with more magical energy than even Master Eon.
"Whoa!" Mikey said. "What happened to these guys?"
"Well, you see, by channeling the energy from the Core of Light, we manage to obtain a major upgrade!" Tony Thunder explained.
"Ohh, thank you for spoiling everything to the enemy." Doctor Mechanicus said with irritation.
"It doesn't matter." Meowsmerosis said as he and the other Elites prepared to attack. "First we will destroy these fools, then Kaos himself, and then Skylands will be ours."
"Alright then." Sunset said as she and the other heroes prepared to fight. "LET'S DANCE!" Both teams then charged, both sides having an advantage. With our heroes small size, they could dodge any punches the Elites pull. And on the other hand, with the Elite's enhanced powers they were more deadly then ever. The battle was fierce and earth shattering, but eventualy our heroes managed to push our heroes over the edge where the fell to what the assume to be their death. But our heroes had obtained some wounds from the battle.
"Wow, those guys really took a lot out of us." Leo said.
"Makes you wonder what else Kaos has in store for us at his fortress." Twilight added.
"If we even make it there." Gill Grunt said.
"There's no if about it!" Sunset said. "We will make it to Kaos! Have you guys forgotten how he destroyed my father! Destroyed the Core of Light! and nearly killed us all! Because I sure haven't! AND I'M GOING TO SEE THIS THING THROUGH TO THE BITTER END!"
"We're with you!" Rainbow Dash said, with everyone nodding in agreement. And as soon as everyone was healed by the Life Skylanders, they marched forth to the entrance of Kaos' fortress, unaware that a large monsterous hand grabbed the ledge.
Our heroes soon arrived at the arena at Kaos' fortress, where they saw Kaos waiting for them on a floating throne with crystals around it.
"FOOLISH APPRENTICES!" Kaos said. "You've played RIGHT INTO my hands! HAHAHAH! SO WHAT - if you've managed to survive all the Elemental Elites and take all the Eternal Sources! BIG DEAL - if you restored the so-called "Core of Light"! It's all for NOTHING! Because NOW you have followed me into MY realm! Ann here, I am ALL powerful. and YOU - are NOTHING!"
"Maybe, but we have each other, and our friendship is more powerful than anything you can throw at is!" Sunset said with confidence.
"I have to laugh." Kaos said before laughing. "I HAVE TO! Because even though you handle the Elemental Elites - you now face the most hideous and powerful of ALL my minions." at that point the arena started to rise into the air. "Meet the same minion who destroyed the Core of Light - and will do so again! Meet the beast that sent Eon to his well-deserved bodiless OBLIVION! MEET - my HYDRA!!" and with a monster with 4 heads popped up out of nowhere. Everyone stood together ready to fight when a giant hand grabbed the Hydra by it's 4 long necks, to the surprise of everyone, even Kaos and sent it flying to who knows where. The hand then grabbed the ledge and lept on the the arena revealing a giant monstrous amalgamation of the Elemental Elites. "What monstrosity is this?" Kaos said before recognizing the faces. "MY ELEMENTAL ELITES?!"
"In the flesh, so to speak." they all said at the same time.
"You'll pay for what you what you did to my Hydra!" Kaos said before getting an idea. "However, you can redeem yourselves. DESTROY THESE FOOLS!" The Elites then laughed the idea.
"YOU WEAK, IGNORANT, SELF RIGHTEOUS FOOLS!" They said. "We did not take this form to help you Kaos, we took it to destroy you. Your pride and arrogance has blinded you to the reality of the situation. You don't even know who you this is, do you?" He asked while pointing to Sunset Shimmer.
"Umm, no, no I don't." Kaos said before turning to Sunset. "Who are you?"
"My name is Sunset Shimmer." Sunset answered "You killed my father. Prepare to die."
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!" Kaos said in shock
"Uh Sunset darling, don't you think that 'Prepare to die' bit is a bit to harsh?" Rarity asked
"I know." Sunset said. "I just always wanted to say that ever since Leo showed me The Princess Bride."
"It's quite a good movie." Leo added.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS SAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO ME EARLIER!" Kaos said
"Because as your slaves, what we said was of no importance." The Elemental Elites said with a grin. "But when you are gone and we are in charge, what we say will always matter." This does not concern Kaos at the least.
"You think you can take over my empire?" He said. "HA! You think wrong! In fact, I think you think that I think I cannot win back my empire. I assure you - I can." He then turned to our heroes. "And as for you, there WILL come another day - oh not now maybe - but soon. And we will meet again. And on that day I, KAOS will introduce you to your sweet, SWEET OBLIVION. HAHAHAHHAHAHAA!!!" They then squashed Kaos under his foot like a bug.
"That's one problem dealt with." The Elemental Elites said. "Now onto the other." All of a sudden, a surge of energy suddenly surge through our heroes, bestowing them with power. Sunset knew that this was Master Eon giving them a fighting chance.
"Okay guys this is it!" Sunset said to all of her friends. "Let's show these guys, THE MAGIC OF FRIENDSHIP!" Everyone nodded. Just then a rock and roll band got there attention.
"HEY!" The lead singer said. "Anything we can do?"
"YEAH" Pinkie and Mikey said. "MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT!" At that moment, the band started to play while our heroes fought the Elemental Elites
Our heroes dodged the monster's many punches before jumping into the air.
Our heroes then landed all the final blows to the monster, causing it to fall on top of Kaos, who had just woken up.
At this time, the monstrous form of the Elemental Elites were starting to crack and come undone. It then exploded, reverting the Elemental Elites back to their normal forms with Kaos in the middle pile.
"Fear my giant, floating head." He said in a dizzy voice before passing out again.
"Thanks dad." Sunset said looking up.
"Come on guys." Spyro said. "Let's get these guys back to the ruins." Our heroes then carried Kaos and his Elemental Elites back to the ruins in Skylands. When they arrived, the Elemental Elites were put in chains while Kaos was placed in a forcefield.
"FOOLS!" Kaos yelled. "Release me at once or face your UNIMAGINABLE DOOM! Do you really think this cheap magic trick can hold be, KAOS?" He then got shocked by the forcefield. "OW! HEY!"
"HEY!" Flynn said. "Cool your jets, small fry. We've heard enough out of you."
"Finally, something we agree on." Raph said.
"You know, your ok when you're not putting your foot in your mouth." Cali added.
"Back at ya." Flynn said.
"Okay seriously?" Meowsmerosis said. "I'm going to hack up a hairball if this keeps up."
"EON!" Kaos said. "I know you're here somewhere! You and your apprentice portal masters! GO AHEAD! Send me back to the Outlands! It won't do any good! I'll just keep coming back! Again! AND AGAIN! AND again! UNTIL SKYLANDS IS MINE!!!!!"
"Actually, Kaos, your not going to the Outlands this time." Eon said.
"Uhh, what?" Kaos said confused
"Dad and I have something more fitting in mind for you." Sunset said.
"Hugo." Eon said to is assistance. "Would you, Fugitoid, Donatello, and Twilight do the honors."
"With pleasure, sir." Hugo said before joining the other techno wizards at the control panel. "Your gonna love this."
"We made a few upgrades." Fugitoid said before pushed a few buttons. this caused a ring of light to surround the forcefield.
"Okay look." Kaos said trying to make a deal. "Let me go and we'll split this place. 70/30. whaddya say?" Donnie then pushed a few more buttons making a second ring of light. "Okay how about 60/40?" Twilight then pushed even more buttons making a third ring of light. "50/50?" Hugo then pushed one more button. "Okay - uh oh." Kaos was then launched into outer space. "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF MEEEEE!"
"Wowsers!" Flynn said. "Now that's fast!"
"Hey, that's actually very clever." Meowsmerosis said while laughing, knowing that he'll never see Kaos again. Meanwhile, deep in space, Kaos was zooming through the cosmos when he notice something off.
"Hey, what the!" he said. "Everything's getting bigger! Wait, I'm getting smaller!" then crashed on the plains of Africa on the planet earth. "Uh WHO!? WHAT!?!? WHERE!?!?!? WHERE AM I!?!?!?!?" He then smelled something bad "Ugh, what's that smell?" He then turned around and saw a large dog standing behind him. "AHHHH! A HORRIBLE MONSTER!" The monster dog then starting licking him. "Ugh, yuck, CUT IT OUT! THIS NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR EMPEROR! Ugh, this stinks." Back at Skylands, our heroes were ready to go home when Eon wanted to talk to Sunset alone.
"You have done well, my daughter." He said. "We may have seen the last of Kaos and the Darkness, but there is more for us to do here."
"And if you ever need me dad, you know where to find me." Sunset said before hugging her father. They both know that this isn't goodbye, just see you later. Our heroes then waved the Skylanders and the friends they made here farewell, and entered the portal back home.
A few hours after our heroes returned from Skylands, they were reflecting as to everything they had been through.
"That was the most metal experience that I have ever had!" Casey said.
"Yeah it was!" Rainbow Dash said.
"And It will only be a matter of time before we have another Skylands adventure." Sunset said. Suddenly they received an urgent call from Agent Bishop.
"Hey Agent Bishop." Mikey said. "What's up?"
"A lot." Agent Bishop said. "We are sending a pickup to bring you to our base. We have intercepted a trasmission from an evil emperor and an agent of his. This emperor is sending his agent to Earth. This agent is coming for the seven of you." He then Pointed at the Rainbooms who had a look of shock on their faces.
"Us?!?!" Twilight asked with the others too shocked to speak.
