While in Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle has come across a bat pony named Shadow Blaze, and he has his own ways of being tested by the daily trials of friendship. He has to see things in a different way than most ponies do. He may even teach Twilight and her friends a few things about friendship they didn't even know.

Daring Do and Rainbow Dash partnered up once more to keep a powerful crystal from being used for means of evil by Ahuizotl and the Diamond Dogs he has teamed up with. Will their mission succeed. Only one way to find out.

Night Mist's the name and he has been dropped into the realm of Equestria, well, the pony realm that is, from another realm he cannot recall. His appearance causes Princess Luna to take him in as her son. When he am told of all that is going on, he finds out his new mother was not controlled by the dark side known as Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon is her own pony. Well, that's an interesting twist. Let's see how events play out.

Although the play was a success, Luna was very unhappy after she and Celestia returned to the Castle. Celestia doesn't understand why her little sister is acting like such a foal, but Luna is about to give her sister piece of her mind as to why she is so frustrated.

Note that this one piece takes place shortly after the events of the MLP episode "Horse Play". If you have not seen the episode by this time, well, I suggest watching that episode first. Will help make more sense of this story.

Spike decides to take on his journey of self-discovery. When he arrives at the volcano where many Dragons are stopping to rest during the migration, an unexpected event happens that will change his perspective on Dragon kind, and will show him where he truly belongs in the world of Equis.

Night Mist is a Bat Pony that is taken under Celestia's wing as a student, training alongside Twilight Sparkle, Celestia's personal protege. He's not certain why she chose to tutor him, since he's not magical. But future events will unfold that will change his world forever.

Tempest Shadow has been trying to catch Night Mist ever since he abandoned the Storm King. At first she want's him to pay for leaving the king's side. But as they talk, truths start to surface that Tempest didn't stop to grasp before.
