The Earth is going to die: there is no question about it. It was inevitable, really, but the manner and how soon was never set in stone.

Three lonely figures, bound together by memories of lives long past, gather to watch their doom unfold.

Spike has grown over the years, and after finally realizing he'd be better off looking for companionship among those closer to his age, he asks Sweetie Belle to be his marefriend. She accepts, but they only tell Applebloom and Scootaloo, and so keep everypony else out of the loop, including Rarity and the other Elements of Harmony.

However, on the day of their first "real" date, Spike gets cold feet and doesn't know what to do. So, he decides to ask around his friends and various Ponyville residents about how to act on a date, and such how to properly treat a mare.

The results are... less helpful than he expected.

Twilight has become obsessed with the concept of forced evolution, ever since she discovered the joys of the Pokemare card game. So, with the powers of magic and science backing her up, she turns to her assistant Spike, to see if she can evolve him into his next form.

This will likely not end well.

Big Macintosh is a hard-working man: everyone knows that. What many do not know, however, is just how long he works during the peak of harvest season. He runs himself ragged every night in order to get everything harvested and put away, so that there is enough food on the table for his family and their town throughout the winter. Many times he goes overboard with this and almost kills himself, but he does it anyway, despite what his friends and family say.

One night, he is out, working tirelessly as usual, when he catches someone's eye. They feel he needs a break, the kind only one imbibed with the power of dreams and moonlight can provide...

Crystal goes to visit two very special figures in her life, wishing to tell them about a decision she has been considering for some time.

Schnitzel hated his lot in life, but carried on every day, knowing tomorrow could always be better, provided Chowder didn't eat all the food again or set the kitchen on fire.

Then he woke up in a magical place after accidentally inhaling too much Pizazz.

(I loved this show, by the way. Also, I know the way he's spelled in the picture is different from how I've spelled it, but come on; his name is based on a real food.)

Fluttershy, out for a walk on one of the few days she isn't afraid to do so, finds herself in a clearing. Under a tree sits two creatures she has never seen before. They somehow know how to speak her language, and are dressed oddly...

And they're friendly?

Twilight received a letter from some far-distant citizen of Equestria. At the time of its arrival, she had been terribly busy, but then she was finally able to open it and read it.

This is the chaos that followed that fateful day.

Big Macintosh loves a very specific brand of mathematics, but never had the guts to tell anypony other than his sisters. He finally confesses his undying devotion to this brand of mathematics to Twilight, with Applejack observing her brother in action.

The result is anything but expected.
