A lone pegasus filly waits, trapped inside of a cage for somepony to buy her.

After her fellow changelings discovered that she had a disability, they attempted to cleanse the hive by having her executed but due to sheer luck, she managed to escape from the Queens clutches. On the run, she is forced to live with among her enemies.

After Sweetie Belle discovers that Scootaloo is homeless, she offers to help her but for a price.

Every full moon, Scootaloo’s mother is left with no choice but to chain her own daughter up. If she were to be free then there would be untold carnage.
