All three of them woke up just outside of a lake within a massive cake network. None of them have any explanation or memory as to what happened prior to the situation. Nor are they the most rational of beings within existence. All of them, however, do possess the ability to open the eyes of Equestria in their own unique way... even if that way might involve driving everyone they meet into thinking they're missing a few screws...

While flying through the clouds after an embarrassing incident with the weather pegasi, Rainbow Dash stumbles finds a rather strange cloud - specifically, a beady-eyed and rather cheery cloud. Within said cloud,are turtles with spikes on them, a "button" that turns said turtles to coins, and a fishing rod. With these tools and a mischievous attitude, she decides to have a little fun with Ponyville's residents.

(Pinkie Pie & Apple Bloom, Friendship) Pinkie Pie nearly dies in the middle of a return trip through a snowstorm in the aftermath of a bitter family reunion. Apple Bloom is thrown into a depression after a morale-shattering revelation concerning the nature of Cutie Marks. Both of them end up using their respective stories to share a moment between each other while Pinkie Pie is recovering from hypothermia.
