A cartoon dog in a cartoon world

On the first anniversary of the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Pinkie Pie is preparing the party to end all parties. It is her masterpiece, to show her father that she was justified in fleeing the family farm ten years earlier.

Acting off of a mysterious remark by Princess Luna, Twilight Sparkle is trying to work out which of her friends is suffering from nightmares about a horrible danger coming to Ponyville during the Summer Sun Celebration. All she knows is that this pony lied about their cutie mark story...

And Pinkamena is also preparing for the arrival of her father. She has a masterpiece of her own, but it is quite different from Pinkie's...

Vinyl Scratch wakes up to find herself the personal student of Princess Celestia, sent to the obscure village of Ponyville to oversee preparations for the millennial Summer Sun Celebration.

Vinyl can only imagine two possible explanations for what has happened: she has tumbled into an alternate universe where she's Twilight Sparkle, or, after everypony telling her she'd do it eventually, she's finally gone and lost her mind.

Alternate Universe tag is obvious. Missing though, is the Drama tag (oh wait, they have that now--fixed!), and the "She's Finally Gone and Lost Her Mind" tag, which may be substituted by a CrazyPinkie emoticon.

This story is a sequel to Javelin

A war against the dragons that was prophesied to occur centuries in the future has just reached its devastating conclusion.

Twilight Sparkle finds herself in the blasted ruins of Equestria, trying to remember what went wrong, and desperately hoping that she is not the last pony left in the world.

Two days earlier, Vinyl Scratch wanders the streets of Canterlot as an agent of Celestia, witness to a world turned mad by war and falling prey to riots and conspiracies.

A prophesy once stated that Vinyl Scratch would save Celestia and all of Equestria...but the power of prophesies has been broken forever.

This is the conclusion of the Betwixt Silver and Gold series, which began with "Javelin" and most-recently included "Whopper of the Year".

The story is Alternate Universe-tagged because the idea for it originated before Season 2 began. Well that, and it doesn't look like the dragons are going to declare war on the ponies anytime soon. The Crossover tag is for the return of some pastiches of Invader Zim characters that I've used before.

This story is a sequel to Javelin

Luna and the Elements of Harmony race to Canterlot to free Princess Celestia from being consumed by her own Nightmare.

But who cares about that! Let's watch Vinyl Scratch judge this year's Liar of the Year awards!

The "Alternate Universe" tag for this story reflects the fact that it was written between Seasons 1 and 2.

Sequel to "The Trial of a Time Pony". If you're all into trilogies, then Part One was "Luna and the Tree Ponies".

This story is a sequel to Javelin

"For his frequent and malicious interference with the course of Equestrian history, the individual (or individuals) operating under the alias of 'Doctor Whooves' is to be interrogated by the highest authorities: Princesses Celestia and Luna. Neither legal counsel nor a jury will be provided. The judgment resulting from this inquiry cannot be overruled, and the records of its proceedings will remain sealed in secrecy for a period of not more than one hundred years."

Little did the Princesses realize, however what secrets this inquiry would actually reveal...

The Crossover tag in this story is obviously referring to Doctor Who. The Alternate Universe tag refers to the fact that this was written during Season 1 of Friendship Is Magic.

If this site had a "Drama" tag, this fic would have it.

Sequel to "Luna and the Tree Ponies".

This story is a sequel to Javelin

This is a little story that little Luna tells herself to remember the time when she found the tree ponies...

Note: The Crossover and Human tags are for Doctor Who (yes, again). It's probably not the Doctor you're thinking of, though. The AU tag is because the events of this story are set in the distant past, and based on the series, they probably did not happen this way.

Stand-alone sequel to "Javelin" and "But Wait...There's More!".

This story is a sequel to Javelin

Having formed a semi-secret business partnership with Twilight Sparkle to manufacture CDs and CD players, Vinyl Scratch finds herself in Canterlot fighting a wicked slander that threatens to bring Equestria Acoustics to its little pony knees--a slander apparently uttered by Princess Celestia herself!

Additional Tags: Old-Time Radio Drama, MLP: Explosions Are Awesome

Sequel to "Javelin".

About the AU Tag: This was mostly written back before Season 2 started.

About the Crossover Tag: Some Doctor Who, in addition to the utter insanity of Chapter 9.

The royal court of Canterlot welcomes its newest member with open forelegs: the human philosopher Voltaire, from Earth.

On Earth, Voltaire is known as the greatest enemy of tyranny in the history of literature, and a legend in his own mind.

On Equestria, the court betting pool is giving him a week before the Princess banishes him to the Moon.

Note: This story doesn't have sequels per se, but there are a couple of short follow-ups set in the present day ("Parade Coverage" and "Secret Histories"), and a prequel of sorts in "At the Inn of the Prancing Pony".
