Centuries ago, Chrysalis was the daughter of a nobleman in Italy. Then, she was the slave of a tyrant in Equestria. After that, she was the queen of the changelings. Then she was no one; a broken soul waiting to die. And then... she was saved.

Now, Chrysalis is no more than the child she always was, before fate and the whims of monsters stole her innocence. Now, Chrysalis has a family, and a new lease on life. She lives in the care of Celestia, the human counterpart to one of her oldest enemies in Equestria. The very same caring woman who pulled her from the depths of despair after her final defeat as Queen Chrysalis. What's more, her life is about to take another drastic turn: she's starting school at Canterlot High.

For one who has seen and suffered as much as Chrysalis, high school should be a breeze. However, it comes with its own set of challenges. New friends, new enemies, and more homework than she can blast with changeling magic! But more challenging still are the old demons still festering in the depths of her heart and mind. If Chrysalis has any hope of truly starting life anew, she'll have to put those demons to rest once and for all. And what better way to do so than with the love and support of family and friends?

Chrysalis always needed love to survive, after all.

This story is a prequel to All-American Girl

It's been a few years since first contact between Equestria and Human Earth. The two worlds have grown more comfortable over the years, but things are far from perfect.

Shining Badge, the Sheriff of the small, backwater Equestrian town of Dodge Junction finds himself dealing with the murder of two ponies from his town at the hands of human "big game hunters." Everything changes for Twilight Sparkle and her friends when a mysterious extraterrestrial ship crash lands in Equestria. When Twilight messes around in the ship's systems with her magic, she ends up transported to an alien world unlike anything she imagined: a box canyon in the middle of nowhere.

To get home, Twilight must enlist the help of the eccentric Red and Blue soldiers that live there... if she can get them to stop bickering first! Additionally, she finds herself being pursued by the enigmatic military agency known only as Project Freelancer. Back in Equestria, all is not well for Twilight's friends as forces involved with the crashed ship make themselves known. Reds, Blues and ponies will all have to work together to discover the mysterious connection between Equestria and Project Freelancer.

A crossover with Red vs Blue. Written with the intention for the story to be followable without having watched the series. (just don't expect to get all the references).

Is meeting your hero always such a good thing? How can they ever live up to your image of them if you view them on a pedestal?

While attending Daring Do's panel at a convention in Canterlot, Rainbow Dash wins a contest. The prize? A chance to join the famed archaeologist's team as an assistant on her next expedition. Naturally, Rainbow Dash is thrilled at the idea of an adventure with Daring Do, knowing that the archeologist bases her books on real events. As Rainbow gets to know Daring and her rag tag team of explorers though, she gets the feeling of dissent among the ranks.

Soon, the expedition proves to be more dangerous than anticipated, with a mysterious and dangerous cult after the same artifact as Daring. Rainbow Dash has to stop them while facing the reality that Daring Do may not be the hero her books make her out to be.

Big, big shout out to IFLYSNA94 on Deviantart for letting me use his cute art!

Also, I am well aware of the existence of the S4 episode of the same name (having been keeping up with the show like any self-respecting Brony). At the time of conceiving/writing this story though, I had no idea there would even be another Daring Do episode!
