Scootaloo languishes in a museum of oddities, both a trophy of Earth Pony superiority and the lesser races' inferiority.

Written six hours before the deadline of the week-long contest by the Rage Reviews group, F*** THIS PROMPT #11.

Chapters (1)

The Portal Project followed in the wake of Princess Twilight's misadventure into one of the worlds of the humans. The brightest ponies from across Equestria created new portals to fantastic worlds, and humans became merely a common encounter in the various expeditions. There were less than successful moments in this age of discovery, however. Hostility and violence sometimes waited through the portals, and ponies were lost.

Some worlds were much darker than others. Most would kill a pony outright, but others would snatch them up in a whirlwind of bloodshed, pull them screaming into the damnation, and ponies would come out changed- if they came back at all. Some did not, which for their families and friends, was probably for the best.

Far into Equestria's future, the familiar history of the land is barely understood. Perhaps the Nightmare won, and Stars know if there was ever a Living Sun that tread the earth. Everything has regressed, but one young conscript is there for the end.

Written for the Rage Reviews group's F*** THIS PROMPT #7 contest. Must be complete by 12:00 PM Monday. God save me. Follow the link for the prompt, since I'm going to try and do the bare minimum to work it into a decent story.

A cosplayer is sent to the Equestria of a hundred years ago - a Victorian era of high adventure on the wild fringes of the world. Too bad he's a PDF trooper from Warhammer 40k.

A contest entry for the Rage Review's group, the F*** THIS PROMPT Round 4.

The prompt: "A Cosplayer ends up in Equestria with his/her stuff."

I'd never write a pseudo-Displaced fic otherwise. Must be complete by July 13th. Emperor save me.

Tirek met his end in the Griffon Empire, cut down by gunpowder and steel; in an Equestria robbed of its Princesses, ponies with ambition try to rise above the rest of the herd.

I conquered a country, raised an Empire. Without cutie mark, purposeless. Without magic, weak. I had ambition, and I won. I won, a self-deprecating and appallingly flawed pony. History shall judge me, for my days are few indeed.

Reliving memories of more exciting times with an assistant, pondering my legacy. Thus is the end of the Emperor of Equestria.

Third place entry for the Rage Reviews group contest, F*** THIS PROMPT #2

The prompt: Your self-insert takes over Equestrian.

Must be completed and submitted to the contest by April 13th.

In an industrialized Equestria, the three tribes have driven themselves to destruction by ice, gunpowder, and attrition. The apocalypse came with a whimper, centuries in the making. Who will be left to suffer in a land steeped in silent history?

A lonely guard sets out to find peace in these final days.

Will be Imperaxum's entry to the The Most Dangerous Game 2: More Dangerouser contest, to be submitted once complete, and must be submitted by January 24th, 2015.

The most inconsequential participants in the great Equestria-Sarathûl war, a conscripted earth pony farmer and a human soldier take a break from miserable fighting in the rain for a simple act of kindness.

Written out of my great love for John Hood's fantastic epic, Across the Sea parts one and two. This is written as a kind of side-story for a possible future of the fic; the real narrative probably won't go this exact path, but I've made a good guess. That's part of the beauty of Across the Sea.

Also, to quote John Hood about this story:

I'll sanction it to the degree of "It gets the feel and tone of the world right."

This story uses none of the characters of the one it's based off of, but instead uses the incredible world that Across the Sea has built.

Chapters (1)

An uncharacteristically adventurous, for her race, earth pony: a unicorn with mediocre magic, and a pegasus that prefers the wheel of an airship than personal flight. Together, these three explore the East, far past Equestria's shores.

Each of them have the past hanging over them - and not dark, tragic ones, per say. Only pasts that motivate them into going where no pony has gone in decades. And so do many others on their journey - for the East is a place of both a place for remembering your ancestors, and making your own history. War looms over the East - the scattered Griffon Kingdoms and Saddle Arabia are at each other's throats again.

And above all, they'll find that the East is a place of grey on grey. Good and evil are arbitrary terms at best.

A true adventure story, grand in scale and scope.

Set in the same universe as Tainted Reflection, containing a specific griffon in particular.

Contains light gore.

Does the Pinkie Pie on the left look like an unfeeling automaton? A magical construct with no capacity for thought or action beyond a simple phrase, like 'FUN'? Well, only the latter's incorrect.

She thought it was all over when her resolve broke and she was flashed back to the mirror pool. Emerging from it for the second time in a lifetime, the first Pinkie Pie clone only knows one thing; she's alive and well, unlike every single one of her reflections. Is she just a lucky reflection? A copy?

In the middle of the Everfree, confused, forlorn, and lost; where will she go, what in Equestria will she do?

And why are these six ponies, including the pony she herself is a reflection of, trying so hard to find her? They were saying something about "splitting the Element of Laughter" . . .

Can't let them catch me. No matter what it takes.

Imperaxum's entry to The Most Dangerous Game contest. Will be submitted when complete, and must be completed before June 27th.

The Alicorn Amulet - all powerful, and power corrupts absolutely. A great addition to any thief's collection.

Too bad Lock Pick, an earth pony thief, stole a copy of it that lacks wings. Having unicorn powers is amazing and all . . . but is it talking to him? It's sure made a mess of corrupting him - or she, as the amulet insists for him to refer to her as. And she's rather charming, in her own fumbling, naive, yet relentlessly-attempting-to-be-evil way.

Even worse, he's made the enemy of the entire Royal Guard because, while rather mediocre magic the amulet provides, it's still dark magic. And dark magic is kind of extremely-forbidden.

The entry of Imperaxum to the Straight Shipping Group's Romance Amidst Adversity Contest.

I'm making this up as I go.
