Very nicely written. It had me worried that Rainbow Dash was going to be an abusive teacher for a while, but I was thankfully wrong.

Wow, this was pretty mean-spirited for a good portion of it. While yes, many coaches act that way it only breeds resentment for authority and recklessness later... which probably explains Rainbow Dash in general, come to think of it. But regardless, your writing skill is good and I can certainly look forward to reading other things you've written. Good work.

Hmmm... is there any change of rewritting it? The story and basis is good... but I feel like its missing something...
So Dash decided to repeat the bullying because it turned out so well when she went through it? Sorry, but the way Dash was acting just doesn't make sense, never mind its believability. If she dropped out of the Speedsters specifically because she couldn't take the bullying, there's no way she would think doing the exact same thing to Scootaloo would be the right way to treat her. Getting treated that way by your hero, with no explanation whatsoever, would be even worse than by kids your own age. It's like preparing someone to get their injured leg amputated by chopping off the healthy one first so they know what to expect.
And then I just don't buy the premise that Junior Speedsters is such an awful place that the only way she'll be able to endure it is to get relentlessly smacked around and insulted as her "motivation" anyway. The whole story just leaves me feeling annoyed, honestly, which is a shame, since I read it because I enjoyed your Simply Draconic story and wanted to see what else you'd written.

I apologize for how out of character RD is and that her motivation is very not sound at all. This is an OLD story that was written out of request when Scootabuse was popular. I don't endorse it all and I apologize if it left a bad taste in your mouth.

Ah, well that explains a fair amount. And compared to Scootabuse in general, I suppose this is actually pretty mild. Anyway, apology not really necessary. It's just one short story, and isn't going to affect my willingness to read your other stories or anything. I just read your Where The Wild Roses Grow story too, and thought that one was much nicer.
