I am not saying this story is bad or anything. but telling people you dont like pinkie turns pinkie fans like me off and not even bother reading the story because of that. yeah i am that devoted to her that i avoid stories by people who dont like her to put it nicely.
it still looks like a good premise though i love Gilda and of course another character with a bad rep Trixie in fact i ship trixilda or trixie X gilda however you want to call the ship.
2411253 Alright, I removed that line. I just said it in passing. I leave in the line that it's difficult to write her, because it is difficult to write her. She's so vocal and so visual, it's the main reason I have avoided her in the past.
I wish people would give fics a chance, though. It's one reason I really dislike the Thumbs Down/Thumbs Up system. It's far too easy to dismissive something based on the description, or support something because it's already been Thumbed up.

I know that feeling i myself always end up butchering her character for that reason. i either make her too serious or not happy enough. i am a angsty guy so its hard for me to write happy characters in general. Don't get me wrong this story is good so it doesn't deserve the dislikes. Gilda and Trixie are the ones that make me like them because they have a tragic past that is yet to be explored. if i offended you in any way iam sorry, i should go easy on people who do have a hard time writing pinkie since i have trouble to which once again leads to me making her OOC. I hope to see a Gilda ship fic from you maybe another male griffin? or Trixie
2411348 Since Trixie has been redeemed in the canon, and I've worked hard to redeem Gilda over the course of four fics, I don't see why they couldn't get together.
I could see Trixie as a lesbian. Not any sarcasm or anything. I've always written Gilda as a lesbian and I feel like in Equestria that would just be something accepted. So I will think about Trixie and Gilda getting together.

Its common in Equestria since there are more females and stuff. Gilda and Trixie would understand the situation they were in and how they were redeemed. i just think Trixie needs a strong female and Gilda is strong she would find someone like Trixie amusing and wonderful. I think you did a wonderful job redeeming Gilda where the show didn't add any depth to her. they did it with babs seed why not her? well either way good luck with your other stories.
2411430 I always take the extreme gender ratio in the show with a grain of salt. I’m not completely sure the females really do outnumber the males 1 to 20, or if it’s something like the males simply have jobs that don’t allow them to go out into town during the day. Considering all the Royal Guards seem to be males, there is a male population enough to keep order in an entire kingdom. Also considering sexual dimorphism, I imagine male ponies live harder, manual labor jobs that might not give them as much free time (Big Macintosh, my OC Black Jack.) This is supported because, in high society areas, there seems to be a much more balanced male/female ratio, possibly meaning that the males don’t have to work the manual labor jobs and can live more leisurely.
I think ponies would accept homosexual relationships because their entire culture is based around love. Any love, so long as not destructive. I also sometimes write certain ponies with a Greco/Spartan influence.
I think Trixie definitely needs someone strong. A protector. I don’t want to say “dominant” because of the negative connotation, but someone who is in charge, who can protect her, and who can hold her in her strong arms. Trixie would be good for Gilda because of her sociability and charisma, a trait I’ve always written Gilda as lacking (because of a horrid childhood.) Actually, for the same reasons, I’m happy this fic ended up with Gilda consenting to the sex with Pinkie Pie. The original draft, Pinkie Pie (under the control of Discord’s apple) was going to use Gilda, bordering on rape. I think this worked much better, and it opens the future for Gilda and Pinkie. Yes, they will be friends. More and more, I think that’s all Gilda ever really needed: a friend. Seeing the Element of Loyalty turn her back on you has gotta break your heart.

So to sum it up Gilda just needed a friend and i am glad to see that Pinkie and Gilda are now on good terms. i am glad this didn't turn into a rape fic those aren't my favorite. I also agree that Gilda and Trixie would make a good couple i like to see how they will meet and fall in love. um sorry for spamming up your comment section. if you like to talk me more you can comment on my userpage or send me a pm.
I know that feeling all too well. Gilda wants love and friendship i honestly think she had a hard time making friends in her youth so Dash came along and saved her so to speak. if Dash was her only friend she may have felt jealousy towards Dash's other friends because she felt that she would lose her friendship with Dash. luckily she learned that you can have as many friends as you like and still be friends with the one you grew up with. I really wish Rainbow had just talked to her and ask whats wrong. then Gilda will explain her jealousy and how she thought she would lose Dash and Dash will assure her that she would never lose Dash no matter how many new friends she makes. then Gilda will go back to the party and apologize to everyone then they will all forgive her and pull her into a group hug. wow i just made an essay out of that oops

2801621 Most all of my fics are in a single continuity, with characters referencing prior or future events. I have got some thoughts for another fic involving Rainbow Dash and Gilda, and if I ever work out a novel-length fic, it would feature Gilda extensively. The latter is very unlikely though.
Wow... This was really good. It had positive character development and made me truly reconsider how much I appreciate Gilda's character.
