I think it would have been better if you'd gone through the cycle of his day a few times. Taken some time to draw out the tedium, maybe showed him making minor, meaningless changes (like the toast) while ignoring other things. Or gone more in depth on things like "He had no magic or wings to speak of," is he supposed to be bitter about that? Or the idea that there are ponies out there secretly worshiping him. Does he just have delusions of grandeur, or is there some kind of cult of grey observing his motions.
Just gonna say here, that title has been taken before, and by a rather popular story. Just saying, if any of those fans find your story, you may wish to be careful.

Fine line, say too much, then it becomes a bore to read and people don't finish the story, say too little and my thoughts don't get across. Interpretation is left to fill in a lot of the blanks.

Actually, it was quite a good story. While I admit the author's grammar and such wasn't great, it was well built in terms of plot, and not to mention, I've spoken with the author, who is quite a nice person. So before you start throwing your opinion around as though it's a fact, think.

Fair enough. In my opinion, it was a story with hardly any plot other than "okay something happens and then they have sex with each other" and often the something that happens involved sex in some way. I could go on a rant about how bad it is. I actually read the majority of the story just so that I could know what I was talking about when I spat out venom and hellfire in its general direction.
