I cannot get over how amazingly fantastic this story is. Everyone should be read this.
Poor Snails. I always thought he was so cute. This makes him cuter, and gives his Cutie Mark an explanation. It makes me think he got it because of his love of animals (snails, in particular) not just because he's slow, like a snail.
I'm also watching Flurry of Emotions right now, and Flurry Heart's favorite toy is a snail. Now I REALLY want to write a Flurry Heart/Snails shipfic. Snails isn't too old for Flurry when she comes of age, so it would be such a cute pairing. She loves snails, too, so they would definitely get along.
