Silver Moon

I'm nobody! Who are you? Are you nobody, too? -Emily Dickinson

T

A collection of sad stories that I wrote that are too short to stand alone. None of them are connected unless they are part one, part two, ect. These do not need to be read in any order, although I would appreciate it if you read all of them and give me feedback. Character tags will change as I add more stories. If you see any mistakes, please let me know. For a description of each story and the main characters, see below.

Let the Blood Drip (Scootaloo)
You find a piece of bark outside your door in the morning. It is a letter and the ‘ink’ is a browning red.

Apple Family Lies (Apple Bloom, Applejack)
Apple Bloom visits her parents for the first time in over 8 years, but the visit unveils a shock she never would have expected. Takes place at the same time as the episode "Apple Family Reunion." The beginnings are the same, then this takes a very different route.

We Have to Save Sweetie Belle! (Scootaloo, Apple Bloom)
Based on the picture that can be found here ---> http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=we+have+to+save+sweetie+belle#/d3kiicw

AJ’s comets (Applejack)
Stargazing is more than just looking at pretty lights for a certain orange mare. For her, they are memories, windows to the past.

Hope (Random OCs)
Two fallen soldiers try to find hope in a lost battle.

Chasing a Rainbow (Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash)
A few days before her wedding, Rainbow Dash receives a letter from her oldest friend.

Awesomely-written sad stories? Count me in!

And after reading them all, all I can say is "ouch". Straight to the feels...

I'm eagerly waiting for more :pinkiehappy:

1862926 Thanks! I don't really know when there will be more. When I get more ideas, I guess. All of these were written and published in the same day, so this had been partly a challenge for me. The idea for "We Have to Save Sweetie Belle!" came to me when I was doing homework. It was pure hell because I had to wait about 2 hours before I could type it up.
Anyway, any idea when your awesomely-written sad story will make its appearance?

Well, a sad story is always worth the wait

And I really have no idea. When I get my drawing gear fixed and manage to do some kind of a cover art (if I even manage to). Anyways, I will make sure that it won't take too long (pretty much whole January), so if I manage to get nothing done, I will simply release it with no cover art/with some picture grabbed from the internet.

I love these need to get my daily dose of sad:pinkiecrazy:

And one day I'm spending time around here and I notice that for some reason I have not favorited this. Silly me and my memory playing tricks on me...

I must say that these kinds of short stories are, for me, better than those stories that have tens of 20,000-word chapters. Sure they do have some more telling and the reader has more to enjoy, but I have found a liking in the simple stories, the ones that give you the opportunity to keep on building the world someone else started.

Anyways, have the missing favorite and my congratulations in greatly succeeding in writing yet another story (or stories) that managed to hit me in the feels.

2428745 Yeah, I'm not the only one who has troubles with depth. :twilightsheepish: I'm glad you enjoyed them and thanks for the watch and fav!

OMG! I cried! A legit tear came down from my eye! :fluttercry:

Well, THAT was dark! :fluttercry: :twilightoops:

Please add to this chapter, and make it into a story!

Hmmmm, I always wondered why Big Macintosh was so quiet.....:pinkiesad2:

I just read something with a sad ending before this... :raritycry: that was my reaction. I reread the ending again and started crying AGAIN right after I stopped... Let me suggest something. Every time you do another paragraph, skip a line. It'll make it easier to read. This was a sad and beautiful thing though.
