Before meeting Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo had always been sort of a loner. Her schoolmates ignored her, the townsfolk only paid her mind when she ran into them with her scooter, and her own mother pretended she didn't exist.
Scootaloo didn't mind being alone. It gave her more time to think.. It gave her more freedom. Friendship and compassion does nothing but hold us back, after all.
But Hearths Warming Eve comes along... This holiday has always been her least favorite holiday.

The hardest part about have a favourite toy isn't getting rid of it when your too old....such a time doesn't exist.

Ok that was awesome and some what sad
I'm never a fan really of Scootaloo can't fly stories, I always find it too depressing (at least it didn't go into Scootaorphan!). The rest of the story was well done though and a bit heart-wrenching to read Scootaloo pre-CMC (I'm assuming the flashback scene was before she met Apple Bloom and SweetieBelle) go through her life and to the Hearth Warming Eve with no real draw to the message, just going to watch Rainbow Dash.
So...Cheerilee's brother is Scootaloo's father? But...why don't they know that they're relatives?
