Do you know that thing when you're getting tired and you suddenly realize you don't know how far you've read without paying any attention? It's really annoying to backtrack. Anyway, cute story, a little excessive. If I wasn't such a scaredy-cat, I'd probably enjoy the blood fetish more.

Due to the blood loss, Rarity had fallen asleep on her couch, and was only roused from dreams of fangs and crimson by a loud shriek of terror. She carefully opened her eyes, twitching slightly as she discovered her sister sitting in the door, scrambling back a little, while wearing a look of pure horror.
"Rarity!" Sweetie quickly jumped up again as she saw her sister move and stepped closer, only one bizarre detail stopping her from embracing her sister, namely the red patches covering the seamstress's fur and the floor. "You're completely covered in blood! I thought you were... you were..." Her eyes moistened as Rarity's shot open wide.
With a start, the older sister sat up, hugging the sobbing filly tightly. "It's alright. Your sister is alright, Sweetie, no need to cry." She soothingly patted the by now crimson speckled mane of her little sister.
"But why's there blood everywhere?" the little pony asked, slowly pulling back a little, but still holding onto Rarity's forelegs.
"Oh, ehm, it must've just been..." 'THINK HARDER RARITY!' "Uhm, my period. Yes, that's perfectly natural. Sometimes it's a little more, sometimes a little less." She giggled nervously. "Yes, that crazy uterus, always up for shenanigans." Her gaze slowly swept to the ceiling as she bit her lip.
By now Sweetie Belle's face had become completely pale—though it wasn't noticeable at all under her alabaster coat. She just fled from her sister's boutique, pictures of a very, very dark and gross future chasing her.
"Oh well, time to clean up." Rarity sighed and licked one of her hooves clean. "Tastes like Rainbow."
Yes, I'm a little tired, but I had to write this now.
Even if bloodplay isn't my thing, this was short, sweet, and well-written enough to earn my praise. Well done.
