A few things:
1) I dont think there was a transition from him getting floated and him walking under his own power.
2) He probably should have asked about hygiene facilities. So that he doesnt stink to high hell and crap in the corner of his room.
3) What is he wearing? He went to sleep with seemingly just his pants on and then woke in the meadow.

Is he a gamer? I mean, he accepted the fact, that he is in a magical land really quick. I think most of those, who play video games or do these kind of stuff are more comfortable with unnatural things. So that's why I ask, is he a gamer? Or is he some kind of magician back on earth?
On another note, a bit too quick for the princesses to accept him. Or they can see into your soul and see your sins.
