Space is a prison with no bars. It is a place which many seem to escape, but are held back by the simple things in life which hinder their movement. Some though, seek shelter in such an unforgiving place as space. Many have made space their homes, homes with no boundaries to define them. No boundaries, however, leads to problems. Violence, crime, strife, and war are just a few to be listed. No boundaries means no structure, no familiarities, anything and everything is possible. War looms on the horizon, but the citizens are ready for it. For what comes from beyond the veil of the stars, however, they are not.

So... if there were 12 chapters at one point (reference, chapter 12: the one I edited for you a week ago), why are we back down to 2 chapters? Are you releasing them over a period of time? Or are you rewriting them to fit with your non-crossover design?

Interesting,

what was the Gryphon's space presence at the time that Canterlot fell?

Dude, I just totally lost it when I saw title. You blew my mind. Finish the fight.

Yes! Finally!!!

Oooh, I hope we see some awesome weapons from the mystery beings from beyond the stars...
Something like a Hyperspace Cannon:

Through placing an antimatter turret behind a hyperspace engine, the Hyperspace cannon becomes an extremely powerful weapon against heavily armed and armored ships.
During normal operation, the engine is activated, creating a hyperspace aperture directly in front of the antimatter turret, with the other end near the target ship. This allows for sniping a spaceship at faster-than-light speeds from several light years away in a matter of minutes, without revealing your location. This can also be useful against energy shields, as the hyperspace aperture can be formed from inside the energy shield, completely circumventing it's protection.
Alternatively, if this does not work, the hyperspace engine can be activated without firing the turret, but instead opening the exit aperture from within the ship, causing massive damage by severing the ship in two with the aperture. You can even go so far as to remotely open the entry aperture in the center of a star, ejecting super heated plasma into the target's ship.
The last method is to use the cannon is to fire the turret without activating the engines. This is most effective for close quarters combat where rate of fire is important.

Wrote that in five minutes :yay:

:3 Oh Hell Yes, Here we go....

A Halo crossover?

You have my interest, but I must read later. Sorry. :pinkiegasp:

1577123 Put a track on it so u can find it!

This story is under appreciated!
Moar!

This is a very interesting concept! I do have 1 question though. Is this set incredibly far in the future? Has any of the Mane 6 ever seen proper Ponyville, and is Celestia still alive?
Then again, I have 9 more chapters to read, might get my questions answered.

This story deserves more views.

God damn, that was intense! Great chapter, good description of the firefight!

Hm. I'm sensing these ESI guys are gonna be assholes.

Ships are cool. As are bow-ties.

Yay, more battles coming!

TONIGHT! WE DINE! IN

SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACEEEE

Griffons incoming!

This story should be posted to EQD, I'm sure this would pass their criteria!

I REQUIRE MOAR.

1616425 I wish it would, but several times, its been denied.

So many views deserved. I promised I'd read it and I love it thus far. I have to write my own stories now though, will get back to this!

*Sigh* Not this again! :raritydespair:
Why must we wait, especially after the dream sequence?!?! :raritycry:
