A Tragedy is a fic without a happy ending. Ponies die. Ponies get irrevocably hurt. And there is no happy ending. My Little Dashie was a tragedy. Where You Can't Follow was a tragedy.
A Sad fic is one where bad shit happens. Yeah, it's really bad. Equestria is dying. Celestia is out of the picture. Rainbow's wings get torn off. But in the end, it's for a reason. In the end things get better. Fallout: Equestria was Sad. Past Sins was Sad.
Now, if you don't want enemies, don't piss people off and don't post things when you're too tired to think properly.

Well, two reasons. The first isn't necessary, per say, because they're older works; yours is a work in progress, so correcting errors is a lot more important. The mods are not omnipresent and hardly infallible, and having them correct some dipshit on the proper use of his tags is a waste of their time.

Miss-tagging a fic as tragedy and sad instead of one or the other seems like the least harmful thing that someone could do. A completely innocent mistake, and a mistake that deserves neither your chastisement nor your dislike. If you want to give criticism BY ALL MEANS do so, but nobody ever benefited more from someone berating them for a mistake than if they have just given some constructive advice. This doesn't matter so much now that this is resolved, but my point still stands.

Was the paragraph with all of the shipped couples really necessary? It might be just me generally not liking them all, but it just seemed unnecessary; they're never mentioned again.
Final verdict? Too short. Barely 1k words here, and that's a minimum, not a good number. If you want to kick your story off, kick it off with the first chapter! Don't write a thousand words, write four thousand as you get the the heart of what the fic is about. There just isn't enough for me to have an opinion abut right now.

I think the only ones with more are 'The Unseen' and... heh, i forgot the title of the other one. i'll look it up. as for the shippings, it was intended to show how perfect thing were in Equestria, and then to show the strange things happening to Pinkie. Will change typos.

1542281 Tragedy is largely when a certain character is killed, permantley disabled, or something along those lines. Sad is more for things like a character falls ill, gets badly hurt, or goes through some sort of emotional tramua. I'm not 100% sure if that's accurate though.
