Corrected. Write drunk, suffer consequences as they say.

Explernation of Applejack's kids names.
Apple Mosaic
Apple Rust
Some people might say it is dumb to name her kids after apple diseases, to which I would reply, "What sort of idiot names their daughter 'granny'?"
Ponies are either afflicted with near lethal levels of irony, or just want all their children to be equally ridiculed at recess.

This really is fantastic!

Oh snap, a new fiddle story! :yay:

And all just went down from there... are my thoughts of the plot. I like the story so far.

holy damn, this is depressing. big mac gone loppy, granny and applejack dead, and applebloom a jerk........but thats why i love it:yay:..... quick question: drool or penis cream? just wondering.

1460935 methinks it's probably *ahem* brogurt. :moustache:

1463122 that sir is false, i asked a question pertaining to the story. :moustache:

Someone named their kid "Filthy." Funny, though, because that almost justifies why he named his daughter "Diamond."

I have a crazy stalker!
I mainly say that because of your avatar.

The plot has stretched a bit. Originally, this was going to be Texas Chainsaw Massacre style. Introduce the setting, then let the bodies fall, but I've decided to stretch things out a bit.

Jerk? I guess that Applebloom swatting her niece the first time they meet kind of set that up (I grew up in a rather physical family, so I have a higher domestic abuse tolerance than most people). I might go back and change it to her just bitching her niece out.
Or, if you're talking about the whole, "disappeared for 15 years part" ... well, that will (I hope) be rather justified over the course of the story. Suffice to say, all is not fresh in Denmark. Or Sweet Apple Acres, whatever.
Also, it was both. Precum on her leg and saliva on her face. I might skim that part again, to make sure I was clear.

Aaaand, in case you're worried about the direction this all is headed, the following are spoilers so I shrunk it down. Copy + Paste it somewhere to read.
This is not leading into an incestuous orgy. Part of what inspired this was the time when, after a three year absence, I returned to my parent's house to discover that my baby sister had smashed headlong into puberty with all the grace of Wile E. Coyote. Nothing I ever write will match the horror of discovering the porn stash of the little girl who's diapers you used to change. Also, Granny Smith's story of how she discovered Zap Apple Jam was not as ... complete as it should have been.

I can't help but wonder, how long have you been writing for? Especially compared to the things I read today (and unfortunately wrote:trollestia:), I find myself in awe of your prose

Minor things I noticed:

Beneath her, little black fish scattered in every direction. They moved as exuberantly as the liquid separated around the foreignness of her body. Watching the tiny black animals, she remembered catching them in jars when she was younger.

It's basically saying the same thing. I'm just picky about that stuff though

She had captured on of those

asked the first question that came to mind, “what happened to

Okay.

I'm not at all comfortable talking about my life, but I know dementia in the sense of enduring it. These are people you love having no idea what or how stuff is going on. It's a terrible, awful existence for both the victim and those who love them.

This is a beautiful story, and it made me cry.

I don't like the fact that this story made me feel what I know too well in reality, but I must acknowledge its brilliant application.

I'm going to cry myself to sleep tonight, but... in its way, this has made too much sense and bore a bonafide beauty I couldn't dare to touch.

You, sir, are amazing. I'm so glad this exists. I hope people aren't scared; this happens to a majority of people. There is help, but love is the only way to endure.

Thank you, Fiddlebottoms. You are awesome.

We enjoy this story! Thou hast an excellent understanding of how hard dementia can affect families and have a good writing style. We eagerly await thy next update. We hope thou continues soon.

what... i know this is the first chapter, but what?
