If there's one takeaway from this whole saga (actually two) it's to not give away important plot details in the name of your story, and to not hint at an unfortunate injury befalling a much-loved character... even in jest.

That is kind of annoying. I mean the story has the random and funny tags, not dark or drama, "and faces the consequences" also makes it clear this will be a silly, light-hearted story.
