The midpoint of a pony's leg is a po-knee.

Twilight Sparkle is relatively new to being a princess, but that doesn't stop the ponies in Ponyville from coming to her regarding official or otherwise important matters. Such is the case when Twilight receives a request from the director of the local hospital, Ponyville General. It turns out that bodies have gone missing from the morgue, which is among the most worrying sorts of things to go missing. So Twilight sets out to investigate. Hopefully this can be wrapped up by morning.

I think Clover was a mare. :facehoof:

That's never actually been established one way or another. I went back and forth on that, but eh.

11758146
Clover is a mare when we first learn about Heath's Warming Eve, and then Equestria Girls changed them to be a stallion. So...

Eh, changed to a mare. I like that better, anyway. The sources are all inconsistent about it.

Why would it be inconsistent if a MARE played the part of Clover in the play?

11758157
Because it's possible for a girl to play a boy in a play and vice versa? Commander Hurricane is a stallion in nearly every source, for the record.

Concerning the Clover debate, Iʼm leaning on the side of him, since Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship confirmed the Pony as a stallion. As for the argument that it was a mare in canon: no. Clover was played by a mare in canon. But Chancellor Puddinghead was also played by a mare in canon (Pinkie) and yet, when we Puddingheadʼs actual picture in the S8 episode “Marks For Effort”, itʼs a stallion. On stage and in theater, men are allowed to play females and women are allowed to play male roles. Itʼs a thing.

But anyway, that's enough of that.

Good story. The mystery tag seems a little unwarranted, though. But still, the pacing is good, Twilight is in character and Rarity being Platinum in disguise makes sense.

Good work, Narrative.

I wasn't really sure what to tag it. Any suggestions?

I’d leave the [Mystery] tag on, but I would suggest adding [Drama], too.

I will take that advice. Thank you.
