Mostly in terms of the story of mine to yours. My story line is progressing a bit slower than yours, but that is because details are important. And because I need to know what happens in yours at some points, so I am researching and making notes. This is mainly because my character is closely entwined to the main plot, but that may have been an accident of placement more than likely.

As far as I can tell, the only time that he acted like that when off-duty was when he was fully under the control of Chrysalis. ON-duty, he would be like that, since he's a military officer. In a casual setting, however, he is usually more relaxed, and even jokes around with others/ teases them (read: a bit). It's sort of like Spitfire's off-duty vs. on-duty (i.e. at Wonderbolts Academy) persona.
