Oh my gosh, this was so cute. From the start AJ seemed uncomfortable with the whole dress-up thing, so you did a great job at subtly setting up the conflict. Loved this story!
That was a good story.
I do have to admit this one started on a shaky footing for me, with the very long sequence of Applejack trying out the clothes she’s been provided in intimate detail – which is fine by itself, but it did feel very off how it was all happening with Apple Bloom watching and commentating. Once we get to the primary story, however, things really start to take off, and we get a very compelling story whose world feels very lived-in and clearly shows a lot of thought put into the nature of Applejack and Rarity’s relationship years after high school. The running gag with the clutch was a definite highlight for me. Thank you for your submission.
