Well, this was a...surprisingly interesting story. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would, honestly. Jest is really good at building chemistry between seemingly incompatible characters, the characters in this case being Twilight and Tirek. I will definitely be sure to read some of your other stories, Jest!

This was absolutely adorable and just what I was looking for! Good Twirek fics (or any Twirek fics, really) are so hard to find. I loved the banter between the two, the overall warmth of the story’s atmosphere, and the pieces of worldbuilding. Tirek deciding he valued Twi’s company more than his power was very touching. If you were to ever write for these two again I would totally read it!

Entirely unexpected, it's kind of hard to tell whether you intended this story to be seen as comedic based on the absurdity on its premise or if it was meant to be taken seriously from the get-go, but you had me hooked rather quickly. This was so sweet, even touching at times. The pacing of their blossoming romance is so well crafted that it dissipates most doubts I could have had about the serious intent of this tale. The premise is strong and sustains the narrative very well, I was constantly impressed by how engaged I found it. Tirek is OOC, of course, but that kind of adds to the silliness of the story in a way that brings forth its metatextual wit. A lot of effort seems to have gone into producing a believable romantic development. I really liked it, good job!

I searched for Twirek fics on a whim and came across this and it’s safe to say that I wish there were more Twirek fics as this story has given me a craving for it.
