If I remember correctly, MEGAN literally runs over a child who was bullying the child to "protect" them.

Nope this is just a story made up of a few different concepts that have been floating around in my head for a while.
Todd is smart, but not wise.
And while I do have a problem with how poppy thinks, It's a give since she isn't a god, just a powerful entity who was alive for about two days.
Wich means she is basically the same as Todd, smart but not wise.
She became just like her creator.
