I'm in this void. A mind separated from it's body and just thinking. I don't know what or who I am or even if I am. Do I exist? I must, but then why can't I remember anything...
Well I can remember one thing, it has something to do with shadows and crystals.
This story is a kind of what if story that takes place during the MLP FIM season 6 premiere. It's basically the idea that what if the Crystal Heart was preventing Sombra from returning, and when it was destroyed it let him return. Then the story takes place from his perspective in his own mind.

Why isn't there an alternate universe tag?

I figured that the alternate universe tag should only be used for stories that majorly change up the world, characters, lore, etc. of MLP in a big way. Otherwise almost every single story on this website would have the alternate universe tag, just for being at all different from the canon. I just thought my story didn't change up the lore of MLP enough to warrant the alternate universe tag, but if enough people want me add it I guess I will.

Will you be writing a sequel for it?
Cause I'm definitely waiting to know what happens next....

This was just supposed to be a little one off story, just to get me started on fimfiction. However, I have a couple different story ideas that could definitely be sequels to this story. I was only going to continue this story or give it a sequel if enough people were interested in it.
