This is wonderful. I really relate to the being called feminine as a form of bullying, and I love how Rainbow introduces Fluttershy to the idea she could be a mare, and how supportive she is to an almost stranger. I'd love if you wrote an epilogue, but this is written well enough that this could be a satisfying ending.
This is amazing! I can relate to being called a boy and/or masculine as bullying (yeah, I know it's the other way around but I'm AFAB) but I don't have a gender so TAKE THAT BULLIES!
