Penalt rises from the grave to continue this fantastic story, color me surprised.
So the story continues! Though I'm a concerned about the direction of this one so far. The prequel got really torture-porny towards the end, and this story is starting off with putting the protagonist in a really weird and uncomfortable situation that realistically (s)he should never have been subjected to.
Getting knocked up from actual sex with an actual stallion is one thing, but this feels like the universe is just throwing more random bullshit on this guy who never deserved it, regardless of how he might eventually come to feel about the pregnancy.
I'm not saying that the story can't be good despite this, but I really don't like authors putting their characters through huge amounts of unnecessary pain unless it was justified or there is a good pay-off for it.
I personally am going to need a strong narrative reason and a rock-solid in-universe explanation for why this guy has to have a virgin pregnancy on top of all the other crap he's been through, or I have to duck out of this one.

Quick reply while on mobile here, but the pregnancy is a carryover of the plot from the original story and it will be resolved gradually in the background. While James may suffer injuries going forward I will definitely be avoiding torture porn or similar.
The references in the opening chapter to prior events are to provide background for newcomers and to explain why James is having what I believe to be some reasonable mental issues. Feel free to PM further on this if you like

Given how quickly Discord was able to use Derpy as a template in the end of the first book, it seems kinda forced BS that James is PERMANENTLY a mare.
So the issue is that Discord need a real template of bidy which usn't there?
I believe that Doctor just got a propr tool for that priblem. Even if buggy and with deterministic issues, no warranty and horrible customer support.

Yeah I gotta agree with this here... Seems heavily unneeded, and just there as a "fuck with the mc because lol" sort of deal.
For the genderbend thing: Where was Discord's "template" when he made James' first body? What stopped Discord from just grabbing another stallion? Why is James so okay with the fact that Discord could have kept him a male but didn't out of seemingly humour? Discord literally said he did it because it could be funny, isn't that whole "I'll do to you what I want because it's funny" thing something James was pissed about before? I would be incredibly pissed in this situation, especially knowing that Discord *could* do something about it, but didn't.
For the pregnancy: It makes absolutely zero sense, other than to be there as a sort of "fuck you, you're definitely female now" sort ot thing. I can't see a purpose to it other than that. Hell, in the author's own reply ( 11243414 ):
