Snow Quill

Just a bat, sometimes writes, sometimes draws

T

In the innocent city of Canterlot, two little girls grew up together.

In the lonely city of Canterlot, one had to leave.

In the beautiful city of Canterlot, two best friends reconnect.

In the dangerous city of Canterlot, a once unshakeable bond is tested.

Written for the fabulous Dawn!

Heavily inspired by Monochromatic’s story Crimson Lips, though this story is in no way intended to be canon to that one. Think of this as an AU of an AU.

Rated T and tagged sex for discussion of sex work and adult topics, similar to Crimson Lips.

Thanks so much to Novelle Tale and n3k1dsk1llz for proofreading/editing and a big thanks to Mono for inspiring this story.

Ah, I've been so looking forward to this fic, I've heard so much about it!

google "Dream by Wombo app" and you'll find it. It's an AI image generator.

Oh, this is a fascinating reimagining of Crimson. I can see where echoes of that AU come out here, and how the themes play off each other. It's really clever. And the character work is amazing as well, of course, and really makes this story shine.

Thank you! I’m really proud of this and am very happy with how it turned out

I know it may be too soon but... Rarity's response really doesn't paint her in a good light.

ooh, I loved Crimson Lips, will be checkin' this out.

Even if I didn't read Crimson Lips, really looks like a heck of an interesting story.

Very nice story, and interesting take on Crimson.

I do think having Fluttershy's father be killed by a sex worker was too much, though. I can understand the desire to not just have Fluttershy be prejudiced against sex workers, and provide a reason for it, but now it feels like a refusal to engage with the topic. That brought down a story that otherwise worked quite well.
