Its a great (if short) start to the story. There are a few grammatical and spelling errors that I spotted, but overall its written well. I think you did a pretty good job getting into Vinyl's mind and writing out her thoughts. I'm a bit fan of the Octy/Vinyl ship because of the depth and complexity of their relationship ... seemingly complete irreconcilable opposites that see beyond each other's outer appearances/masks and develop an intimate and strong companionship. I see elements of that coming across in how Vinyl describes Octavia. I look foward to seeing were this leads.
